A well-done presentation with valuable information and pleasant video editing. Here is a summary: 1. Certification: The coin is authenticated, graded, and conditioned by PCGS. 2. Holder: The coin is kept in an older holder (gen 4.0) used from October 1998 to February 2002. 3. Grading: The author perceives the coin as undergraded and potentially eligible for a CAC sticker. 4. Dealer: The coin was purchased from a reliable dealer at a coin show. 5. Price: The acquisition cost was near the coin’s melt value with a 7% premium. 6. Past Performance: The coin’s value has generally increased over the past decade. 7. Future Appreciation: The author anticipates the coin’s value will rise when gold consistently exceeds $2,000 an ounce. 8. Eye Appeal: The coin’s aesthetic appeal, including its design, color, luster, and overall presentation, also played a significant role in the author’s decision to purchase it. This factor often influences the desirability and hence the value of a coin.
I don’t know if I would send it to CAC. At 3:23 looks like it’s been swiped on the obverse at about the 5 o’clock position. Maybe it’s just the holder though.
Lets face it pre 33 coins are just cooler with better history.the generic rounds are boring.i do have a question, the answer will be an opinion and i understand.i have a pre 33 gold 1oz eagle 20.00$ piece misgraded as a 10.00 $ piece and cleaned by pcgs.should i leave as is ,a obvious hot mess or send it out to another co. and have it regraded?
Very nice 😊pre33🥇🥇 Am going to try and get my 1st pre33 $5 Liberty gold coin or something at a good price.. i saw a $1 pre33 coin with a cac sticker on it but idk if ill be worth it..

You can always try. No downside if it doesn't get a sticker.

Indeed well said.
Was it cleaned?
I don't think so, if it was it would say "cleaned- details" on the holder. Plus in hand it doesn't look cleaned to me.@@tubesoupio
@@CoinsRoc no, I was commenting on Keith's coin he asked about in the comment above.
OK, got it.@@tubesoupio

Depends on how much of a premium it commands, but generally CAC stickers will pay off when it's time to sell.
