Reality TV destroys people. I' m so glad that Cathy and Abby are rebuilding their lives and their relationship
They were friends of the show through the cast of dance moms said in an interview that Cathy is the nicest person ever butt on film she has to portray a ignorant chacter
@@Grw_Angl I've heard that as well. I think that there were many people that were taken advantage of by the shows management. They got caught up in the show and it was too late after signing the contract. Abby is extremely talented but was cast as the villain dance teacher and possibly she got swept up in that.

Hearing Cathy explain how the producers practically controlled her makes me have a whole new perspective on dance moms and Cathy.
The reason they wouldn’t let Cathy leave the show was because how dynamic she was and how she raised the level of entertainment, without Cathy, the show wouldn’t have been what it was.
We loved to hate her haha!
@@my24soccer i never hated her, I thought she was hilarious and knew from the beginning she was playing a character. I did workshop at Candy Apples and she was the sweetest lady, crazy as shit but very loving and sweet
Cathy had ENERGY and was a really good contrast to the others. She was prissy and pissy at the same time.

Agreed. I never thought of it that way. 8 always thought it was because she just wasnt as advanced in lyrical/ballet/jazz. I never knew she was such a strong tapper because the producers never let that be show cased.
Except how miserable vivi looked and how often she clearly expressed she didn’t want to dance. I believe she said she likes softball
@@kasapbandy1776 well yeah, she was on it in the beginning and looked miserable. But then after like season 1, she wasn’t in it
she was in a toxic environment... cathy wouldnt let vivi play softball, be on her new team, quit dance, and the amount of times she fought with abby in front of vivi is despicable
Cathy may have embarrassed herself on the show alongside Abby and some of the dance moms but it is undeniable what a caring and motivating mother she is to Viv.
Vivi-Anne is so beautiful and smart. It’s crazy to see she’s so tall now and she has always been a mood lol so chill. Cathy raised her well.
Thinking Vivi is probably the only one of the dance kids that didn't have to go to therapy. Mainly because Cathy decided to keep her out of all the drama.
Vivianne still looks like she doesn't wanna be there, but love how well spoken she is!

Cathy sacrificed so much for that show, even her own personal reputation for the sake of our entertainment. Example: the producers told her to basically make a fool of herself in the mom dance and Cathy just did it and took one for the team! That’s a professional right there! Cathy is amazing
I loved Cathy so much in that! She is a ham. I knew they were doing her dirty. Glad she did what was right for her and her daughter.

As someone who also hated Cathy, it's probably more of her "character" that the show forced on her that we all hated which is unfortunate

The show forced her to act like that, and it’s a reality show, not a real show. Some students confirmed some of the competitions were fake
tHIS IS WHAT I LOVE TO SEE! the friendship and rebonding. It was clear that everyone in some way was being manipulated and told what to do by producers or whoever is making the narrative for that week. and I think it was pretty much senseless banter until the episode where Abby says Cathy is done to her and you could tell Abby and Cathys reactions went from "we're doing a show" to real emotions and reactions because the way Cathy walked out. she couldn't even say anything. I love that they keep up the banter they have because they do have greta chemistry! in relation to LT's other dance show "Bring It", the rivalry between coach D and her main rival Cookie was clearly playful. they would always laugh or smile at each others shade when it was too good and you know as a viewer that its healthy rivalry. the producers at DM's just wanted blood and unfortunately many people who came on the show gave it to them.
Leave Coach D outta ANYTHING concerning drama please and TY ❤

Two lovely women. I always liked both of their personalities on the show, but was shocked by the drama producers coerced them to provide. I'm so happy to see them both freely expressing themselves!
Yeah and sadly this is ALL what reality television is. Producers whispering things into everyone’s ears, finding triggers and pulling them, and overworking you. Almost every reality show is exploitive to their cast. Because sadly normal people don’t act like this in real life. And when they do it’s rare. Probably more now because of the conception of reality, people may act dramatic now about small things but before reality television this behavior was rare to see.
I think this is the best video on Abby’s channel by far. It really humanizes Abby. Please do more videos like this! You don’t always have to play the heel/bad guy! ❤
I must say I missed Cathy on the show, her and Abby going back and forth was always so entertaining. Cathy’s commentary was always hilarious, she was very quick witted. Vivi has grown up to be so pretty & very well spoken, Cathy did a great job!

It's really lovely seeing Abby and Cathy come together again. Vivi is incredibly beautiful, articulate and successful. She was so young and I think it's a blessing that she was not effected by the stressful environment. She has obviously seen videos but it hasn't evoked a negative feeling like it does for some other other girls.

I watched Dance Moms through its entirety. It’s a show that my mom and I watched growing up. Seeing Abby, in 2022, being happy and creating her own content is awesome. No matter the drama or illusion of the show, Abby always had a love for dance and that always came through the screen. Thank you Abby for sharing the gift of dance to millions! I respect dance and love watching- truly great to see you doing well!
I really love seeing these two together and the fun banter they have as friends. I hate how the show almost ruined it! So much love and respect for each other and would love to see them make a real dance moms show where they produce it or have respectful producers to show what it's really like for these kids to dance.

I was a student of Cathy’s in the early 2000s. I never liked how the show would always make Cathy out to be the bad guy. Don’t get me wrong, Cathy can be a bit crazy, but I knew that some of the show had to be overdrawn because she would never be that bad. I’m so glad that you both have rekindled your friendship! Also was that a spoiler for season 9 at the very end?!
Watching dance moms again but seeing it from the point of view of 2 friends acting like they hated each other, and makings jabs at each other is honestly HILARIOUS. omg, it just opened up a whole new world for me

I don’t think that it’s weird how Vivi’s still dancing and the other girls aren’t. She left very early on in the show, and she said Abby treated her very well, and Abby clearly upset the other girls on the show, and because toxic to them. The show didn’t create a toxic environment for Vivi
