5:00 this is real. Ten years ago I moved from Maryland to Florida, leaving my best friend there. We see each other maybe once or twice a year, but there were a few years we didn’t see each other at all. Yet we maintained our friendship, and sisterhood. She’s like a sister to me. She has since had children and they think of me as their aunt. For them it’s no different, I’m aunt Bri. I’ve gotten so close with these two kids and love them with every ounce of myself. It’s wild how some people.. nothing can ruin that friendship. I believe me and my best friends are platonic soulmates. I believe there’s people in our lives who are just MEANT to know each other. Me and her are that.
12:50 to add to this, more people need to know it’s okay to go to multiple therapist until you find the one. Sorry this might be a tad long but I think it’s REALLY important, it saved my life. Not all therapists are created equal and there’s many different types of therapists. I suffered with crippling mental health issues. I’d go to therapy, it wouldn’t really help, I’d stop going, my mental health would get worse. This was a cycle. Last year I decided to try something different. I’d try different therapists before giving up. I went to one, it didn’t feel right. I saw another for a few weeks and.. she was great, don’t get me wrong. But I really needed to address my trauma whereas she was more so a talk therapist. I decided to see another one and it just felt instantly right. I had one last session with my previous, and she even agreed that if I needed to address the trauma first, I should. Me and my current therapist, Michael, just had our 46th session. We do 1-2 times a week depending on what we are tackling and the protocols involved. It has been..soul changing. Finally having the right therapist, means everything. I get anxious thinking about NOT going to therapy. Whereas before I’d be so scared I’d cancel or reschedule. His energy and vibe are just perfect for me, and he knows how to really help deep complex trauma and PTSD. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced with other therapists, which were always so surface level. I’d hide things from them or just not tell them things. I never went into super deep trauma aside from like.. the vaguest of descriptions. Now, not only have I opened up about it, but I’ve actually addressed and reprocessed them. Anyone with anxiety, I implore you to look up bilateral stimulation. I prefer the butterfly hug which is where you tap on your shoulders with your eyes closed, letting your mind wander with a specific topic in your minds eye. This helps align your physical and emotional sensations and can help you while reprocessing memories, accessing or making clear regressed memories, etc. He taught me how during trauma, especially complex trauma, our glutamate in our body is changed, and so we literally don’t form memories. Glutamate highly influences memory and learning and when that’s disrupted by excessive trauma, we often do not form memories of events at all, HOWEVER, our body has formed a kind of chemical imprint of the event. So when our subconscious is triggered by things that remind us of that traumatic event, we have this physical reaction of anxiety, depression, or panic and sometimes we don’t even know why or what’s causing it, or what it stems from. Sometimes you might know you have trauma, but not know what the triggers are. CBT, A.R.T ( accelerated resolution therapy, this is not the same as Art Therapy, where one would use crafting, arts, etc), and EMDR style therapies have been wildly helpful and I wouldn’t have ever even learned of them had i not found the right type of therapist. Not all therapists are created equal.

It's so nice to see how these girls have moved on because Melissa crossed them so many times as children because she was listening to Abby. The one time that sticks out in my mind is Abby going to the judges, lying about it and finding a mathematical error and taking the First Place win away from Chloe. Why not just leave it alone?? Let Chloe have it, Maddie already had so many wins under her belt. As a mom, my heart just broke for Chloe. I'm not sure why Melissa never understood that Abby was always setting up Chloe to fail & her disdain for both Chloe and Christi, Kelly and her two girls was so obvious from the beginning. I'm not sure anything could justify being friends with someone like Abby and Melissa was friends with her for many, many years. Btw; Paige Hyland is a beautiful girl and so is Brooke.

My children are the ages of the girls and I have been obsessed with this show since they were so little, so why did I not think that you guys would all be on TH-cam and such. Well I definitely am subscribed now. I just love you guys so big ❤

It's so nice to see how these girls have moved on because Melissa crossed them so many times as children because she was listening to Abby. The one time that sticks out in my mind is Abby going to the judges, lying about it and finding a mathematical error and taking the First Place win away from Chloe. Why not just leave it alone?? Let Chloe have it, Maddie already had so many wins under her belt. As a mom, my heart just broke for Chloe. I'm not sure why Melissa never understood that Abby was always setting up Chloe to fail & her disdain for both Chloe and Christi, Kelly and her two girls was so obvious from the beginning. I'm not sure anything could justify being friends with someone like Abby and Melissa was friends with her for many, many years. Btw; Paige Hyland is a beautiful girl and so is Brooke.
