1:09 That's what happens when Marvel Comics merge both X-Men and Avengers into one universe and it gives an awkward situation of Avengers not protecting mutants from those who want to harm them.
To be fair, some of the members of the Avengers are mutants, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were once mutant terrorists but joined when they turned a new leaf, and there was 'Uncanny Avengers' which was a mix of Avengers and X-Men characters and made to tackle and help solve mutant struggles a bit more.
@@scifiguy9000: 1) Wanda and Pietro aren’t mutants anymore. Beast and Wolverine are better example.
2) Uncanny Avengers happens after AvX where there are years, decades of history where the Avengers rightfully failed where mutants were concerned. Them playing catch up does not erase how little they had done in the past.
This is not to disrespect the hard work they put in protecting everyone, but it’s a similar situation to a business man being a bad father. They did a good job providing, but they sacrificed a relationship with their child to do it.
@@scifiguy9000additionally they didn’t merge the avengers into the universe. The original series had/made reference to other marvel heroes and characters, with one episode specifically involving captain America and Wolverine, but in the show as we know it there is no avengers team (and definitely not at the same importance as the films) just individual heroes and the genoshia event was a sudden attack so there was no real time to spring into action (especially for heroes who can’t fly)

@@christopherauzenne5023Yeah, the only heroes other than the X-Men that we know that exist in this universe are Captain America, Hulk and Spider-Man. And I don't mention Hulk because of Ross here, but because Charles used a robot impersonating Hulk to attack Juggernaut in the Danger Room on an episode where Juggernaut managed to get in the mansion in an attempt to destroy him.
Rogue was definitely out for blood in this episode and honestly I don't blame her, you don't kill Gambit and except to get away with it.

I think all of the returning cast members have done a wonderful job, but Lenore Zann absolutely killing it (and Trask lol) as Rogue.
Which is funny because I saw quite a few people criticizing some of the original actors when the first two episodes dropped, but they've been killing it since.
Im still not a fan at all of how much they changed Rogues voice. I didn't even realise it was the same VA. She sounds nothing at all like TAS Rogue.

@@kazallroberts Whilst it makes sense because Destiny died before Rogue became popular and they didn’t have many scenes together, despite some of the aversion to having her, Destiny and Mystique in the same comic on Krakoa for a while, I love it when I see this mother-daughter duo appear.
But, in terms of characters I’m excited to see appear in 97, Dust.
