What's also sad about this Rouge must of felt guilty for hurting Gambit. Having Gambit thinking that she wanted to be with Erik instead of him. Gambit died not knowing that Rouge loved him and wanted to be with him instead.
Rogue didn't feel guilty. She'll feel it when she's in Remy's place. And I really want it. Gambit clearly knew what he wanted, and this woman is fickle. I am more than sure that she will return to Magneto and forget about her choice in favor of Cajun. And Gambit is really sorry, he died thinking that he was just a friend to the one he wanted to call his wife.
After what Rogue did, she has no right whatsoever to call Gambit „my man“. Yes, it was Boliver‘s sentinels that killed Gambit, but it was Rogue herself who dropped him beforehand for Erik, making Gambit’s last thoughts be that his love wasn’t good enough for Rogue. She deserves to feel shitty after his death.
I agree, it seems like the people here on YT understand that more than the ones on Reddit. I got hella down voted for saying this exact thing. This would have been one hell of a line if she didn't do what she did. It's nice but she doesn't have the right to say that. @@Mammothsaber-4457 i am not ignoring that, but what you people seem to ignore is that she still dropped Remy for Erik, she still danced with Erik intimately in front of Remy, she still kissed Erik almost in front of Remy and she absolutely played with Gambit‘s heart just because she thought she couldn’t keep it in her pants. That’s the equivalent of me ditching my gf for another because she could offer more, then i change my mind and want to go back to my previous gf expecting i did nothing wrong. And again, Remy died before she said lick and all that *after* she basically toöd him that his true love isn’t enough for her. I know *exactly* what i saw
true "my man"?? To begin with, they were literally nothing lol that's the argument they use to whitewash the bad things that Rogue did in the chapters right?
Mister Sinister isn't a mutant at this point in the X-Men history. He's a human who's been experimenting on mutants for centuries to improve himself. Now one of his clone awakened the X-Gene, but the original one is human.
Hypocrisy. Wolverine goes around killing thugs, goons and ninjas and he is still a good guy. Rogue drops a bad guy off a building and she’s “evil.” That is a load of crap.
One, people forget she was originally part of the brotherhood. Two, this is nothing compared to what Magento is gonna do. Sinister made a huge mistake not killing him.
I know that we are used to the X-Men being good; but they are still human with mutations. They are grieving the loss of a teammate and a good friend due to outright hatred of people who choose to hate. There is only so much you will put up with until you want blood. Beast, and Cyclops are tired. And I don't blame Nightcrawler or Jean for letting the man fall to his doom. I'm sure they are secretly tired of being sick and tired. They are all at the point of "If this leads to war; then it leads to war."
She never stopped caring for Gambit, she just was never able to touch him which is why she went back to Magneto briefly. She has always struggled with the drawback of her powers, not allowing her to touch, feel, or be intimate with someone, which as you can imagine, would be incredibly painful/frustrating for you relationship-wise. Magneto represented a chance for her to experience what others take for granted, for her to feel another freely. Despite this, she did not love Magneto, at least, not in the way she loved Gambit, which was with her heart. She realizes this in episode 5, but then it is too late, making the whole episode that much more emotional, and in my opinion, better. The writing in this show so far is top notch, and as an avid X-Men fan, I could not be happier with it.
Why didn't Jean grab Trask with her telekinesis or Nightcrawler teleport Trask to safety??? Both characters could have stayed off this mission, as Nightcrawler isn't explicitly a part of the team yet, and Jean has the excuse of needing a break after all that psychic feedback on Genosha she had to endure.
I have a feeling in next episode Magneto will turn into a Bad Guy Villain again maybe Bastian or Mr. Sinister will brainwash him like what they did to Morph

@Mammothsaber-4457 doesn't matter, she disrespected Gambit and lied to him. F Rogue
I'd say this is the exact opposite of evil. It's completely justified in every way.
She did give him what he wanted.
seriously dude was basically a nazi.
Trask helped wipe out thousands of lives. When someone breaks the rules of engagement that badly, you throw out the rulebook. Both in real life and fiction this follows suit. If your enemy seeks to exterminate you, you don't ask them nicely to stop
@@davidlewis5312 he was helpless and regreted his decision, he would be more useful alive. Trask had no intention of attacking Genosha, by your logic Oppenheimer should have been executed by japanese too. Why Magneto and Shaw were forgiven and Trask wasnt? Trask had no intention of harming gambit, but Magneto and Shaw have killed countless people with their own hands, dont seem to regret it, but they can be forgiven and Trask cant be?

"my man" happy and sad at the same time. Unfortunately, Gambit did not find out that she chose him. and parted on a sad note before the party.
I like the pair of Gambit and Rogue. I even re-read the comic Rogue & Gambit (Vol 1).
They complement each other
I like this he wasn’t a monster in the comics he really was trying to protect the unenhanced humans of the world even the sentinels ability to track and detect mutants was never ment to hunt them but to find sleeper agents the size was because he couldent make them smaller with the technology of the time it was a flow in their programming and parts of the government’s willingness to use them that turned him into a “monster”
I think not evil but showing her dark side
it is not dark killing a person that killed your loved ones, some people would call that justice.
@@EyeOfTheWatcherlike killing the Joker which somehow isn't executed yet
She did started out as a villain of The Avengers and a member of the Brotherhood Of Mutants after all.
Could've drained his memories...
"My man"... I understand the grief but honestly at this point she doesn't deserve to claim him like that.
true "my man"?? To begin with, they were literally nothing lol that's the argument they use to whitewash the bad things that Rogue did in the chapters right?
That whole relationship happened before Rogue even knew Gambit.
Still not as evil as her having an affair with magneto 🤢
She didn't go evil, if they wanted to save they could have.
Plus she's still grieving over Gambit.
Right?!
Not like Jean could have just scooped him up
@@fro-zone2k She has a lot of nerve to still call Remy "Her Man"! Cause if this girl thinks she can just double dip with an old flame while already being in a relationship, then she's a really lousy person!

The fact that this video calls it an Easter egg instead of just being a reference to real world events baffles me.
Definitely won't call her evil for that !
The way she claimed gambit ❤️🔥
Oppenheimer quote went hard 🤣
Rogue: *kills Trask*
Everyone: Rogue, no!
Wolverine: That's my girl!
Rogue’s not evil she just delivered true justice on Trask. Heck she must take after Wolverine sometimes since they both throw people off buildings.
That's not justice it's MURDER
Saw this scene and my mind was going - why is she smiling?
My subconscious mind - wait for it.
Me - there it is.
She missed the quick time event on the interrogation and didn't catch him before he dropped.
Fumbled the batman interrogation
@@valensblake2284 She deserves to feel the pain she caused Gambit 10 fold.
@@valensblake2284That's going to play a factor in Season 2.
remi in heaven : wish gambit now which man she talking about
Man I wish Rogue had told him the man she loved who he killed his name like "His name was Gambit, remember it." and then she just drops him.
Facts
Because he died not knowing a damn thing and his last memory of her is with Magneto not them.
She was literally on her way to correcting that when everything went to crap I like how everyone criticizing her literally ignores that
@@Mammothsaber-4457 i am not ignoring that, but what you people seem to ignore is that she still dropped Remy for Erik, she still danced with Erik intimately in front of Remy, she still kissed Erik almost in front of Remy and she absolutely played with Gambit‘s heart just because she thought she couldn’t keep it in her pants.
To begin with, they were literally nothing lol that's the argument they use to whitewash the bad things that Rogue did in the chapters right?
my headcannon is,gambit went suicidal in that last attack, bcoz of that, maybe i’m just an emotional bich
This reminds me of the scene from X men evolution where Rogue pushed the petrified form of Mystique off a cliff.
Funny you mentioned that
A human Sentinel, that's new. Sinister really made Trask a puppet before he was human.
Is Sinister a Omega mutant level in the comics?
He is alpha not omega level
@@gatsu6530 thank u
Mister Sinister isn't a mutant at this point in the X-Men history. He's a human who's been experimenting on mutants for centuries to improve himself. Now one of his clone awakened the X-Gene, but the original one is human.
@@LaffyTaffy04 The one who says mr.sinister mutant is unsuccessful, his power level is only equal to alpha
He is not a mutant in this series, just a human that has experimented on himself. That is why mutant hunter Bastion works with him.
That “Terminate Mutant” was such a chilling surprise
Hypocrisy. Wolverine goes around killing thugs, goons and ninjas and he is still a good guy. Rogue drops a bad guy off a building and she’s “evil.” That is a load of crap.
Exactly
Wolverine was quite proud of her
Episode was great.. Rogue a beast!!💯😂😂😂 Nightcrawler “what have you done” bro go get em if you care
One, people forget she was originally part of the brotherhood. Two, this is nothing compared to what Magento is gonna do. Sinister made a huge mistake not killing him.
Exactly
I love how she says “suga” in such a dark way.
The animation in this show gives me goosebumps every time I watch it
Rogue: “He killed a man, MY man “!
Me/ everyone: now you care for him after what ? Tired of being a refrigerator
Magnet
Gambit couldn't lay the pipe on her like Magneto could.😶
Nightcrawler: What have you done?!
Rogue: I removed the chance for compromise, BECAUSE THERE IS NO COMPROMISE!!
*Rogue does what needs to be done* Easter eggs and more
Remember gambit respected not being official with rogue. Rogue still did remy kinda dirty but remy never took nightcrawlers advice.
Killing Trask was basically an afterthought for Rogue.
I have a feeling in next episode Magneto will turn into a Bad Guy Villain again maybe Bastian or Mr. Sinister will brainwash him like what they did to Morph
Enough people don’t give credit to the way morph says “Is this who we are now!?”
I agree with Rogue and Wolverine
"I would to apologize Rogue....I wasn't familiar with your Game" 😮
Pretty stupid to kill the one guy who knows more about sentinels and their weaknesses instead of capturing and interrogating him.
Vengeance is blinding
Well considering that he really doesnt know much, killing him might be a pretty good option
This series is getting really good. Very close to the early 80s comic books.
Rogue did what no one like Superman or Spiderman would do. Make difficult decisions yourself. And making his most sadistic side show!!!
Superman actually would go that route if he had to. Spidey is another matter.
True superheroes don't kill even your most hateful enemies. Rogue crossed a line there's no comeback to her anymore.
