Hearing rogue cry and sound just like the rogue we all fell in love with broke my heart this year and made me fully remember how deep my love for this X-men! I’m sorry but she will always be my number one ☝️
Seriously why would they take away her powers in TLS? What a terrible lesson to teach. “Don’t ever accept yourself, kids, if there’s a chance to be normal like everyone else, you take it!”
The most tragic part of the series was that she never got to tell Gambit that she chose him, not Magneto. He died thinking she loved someone else, and she has to live with that fact. It's sad from both perspectives, and if Gambit's coming back due to Apocalypse down the line as many have theorized, it's going to be even sadder then.
Left out the part where the General said (as Rogue was advancing downward to the command center) “This facility was built to withstand the likes of the Hulk” with Rogue crashing through all that advancement like it was nothing. LOL! 😅
The clap she does at the end is actually a move she cribbed from the Hulk. The writers knew what they were saying. ;) BTW, That move works because it causes a shock wave in the surrounding atmosphere that is so powerful it blows out windows, knocks back military equipment, etc...ROGUE JUST DID THAT EFFECTIVELY IN SPACE.
Any1 of them coulda saved Boliver Trask Jean can literally move things with her mind Morph coulda turned into Angel & flew to save him Nightcrawler coulda teleported to him in a way I feel like they all felt the same way Rogue did she was the only 1 who had the balls to do it.
Honestly I can’t really blame her, the only thing I couldn’t understand is her actually turning against humanity as a whole because she’s always been pretty reasonable. But I suppose after everything she’s gone through, I can’t blame her
The X-Men movies were so shit. Hollywood always wants strong and powerful women and diverse casts. Meanwhile comicbook and animated X-Men has that in abundance and Hollywood chooses to just focus on Wolverine and turn characters like Rogue into trash.
@@senormacaco2834 Is that what you from my comment? Wipe your tears away and read again, maybe the words will be clear this time. I clearly love women in movies/tv shows/animation and I was praising X-Men 97 for doing female superheroes THE RIGHT WAY. I loved the depiction of Storm, Jean, Rogue and Jubilee because they were complex characters with character flaws, hardships and they overcome those hardships and were badasses that were actually strong and powerful through arcs that their characters earned. And not cringe Mary Sue's like Captain Marvel in the MCU, who are just perfect and have 0 character flaws. The reason why characters like Tony Stark are great, is because they aren't perfect. That MAN has flaws and he overcomes those flaws and tries to be a better person. While Captain Marvel is constantly depicted as some perfect being and thats BORING. Thats why ROGUE, a WOMAN, was so great in X-Men 97 because she wasn't perfect. The way she treated Gambit wasn't great. Her relationship with Magneto was complex. She then made up her mind and finally chose Gambit and he tragically died. Then she was filled with rage and nearly killed a man. That was GREAT, she wasn't being perfect, but still was badass and in the end she also kicked a lot of ass. Thats a great female character like Sarah Conner or Ripley. I LOVE women in movies like that. While I can't stand characters like Captain Marvel or DCEU's Wonder Woman who just act like perfect Mary Sues. Do you understand it now? That I don't hate women in movies but that I just want them to be written well? For them to be like the male characters with flaws? A male character that would be depicted as a perfect Gary Stue, would also be boring. If for example, Tony Stark wasn't an arrogant egotistical asshole at the start of Iron Man, he would've been boring. A perfect genius with no flaws would be a snoozefest. Hope you get it now after wiping those tears away. I had to write an essay for you because you couldn't comprehend a short comment. Maybe you'll understand it better when its explain to you into detail.
@atlasli0n Jaja Im so glad you love women bro, I do too. We got that in common. But you also mentioned you got a problem with diverse casts. I dont see the issue with telling stories with characters from a variety of backgrounds. Makes stories more interesting yknow
People forget Rogue used to be a supervillain. She's always been about that life.
Actually, I’m just being reminded.
To be honest she was raised by mystique to be a villain before her powers she was a simple girl living with her father.

This is the Rogue I remember. I don’t know wtf they were trying to portray in the movies. Rogue is a beast Period!!!

You can bet that's gonna play a factor in Season 2.
putting her and magneto having a moment in front of remi in her “best moments” is diabolic 😂

the dude was about to commit suicide. She only paused his intent.
I mean wolverine said it, what we all
Wanted to do 🤷🏽♂️
The movies could never compete with the animation
Idk about yall but i still can't hear the "I cant feel you" part without getting teary eyed
Season 2 is gonna be heartwrenching when she sees Gambit again.
She's a baddie
I feel sorry for Gambit
Rogue and Cyclops being the true heroes of X-Men 97

My woman Rogue!!!! 🙏🏽💪
Magneto had that dawg in him
So she takes her left glove off to absorb the doctor's expertise, but in the next image you see her using her right hand - with glove 😅
Seriously whoever thought it was a good idea to give Rogue her Brotherhood Of Mutants costume just fire them.
This make you want to put in work!
Rogue throwing Captain America's shield in the mountains is kind of a dick move.
Damn I didn't know Rogue was like that 😂. Also I love her accent
Straight clapped Bastion
I just noticed the Evangelion kick today.
How did screen recorded this? i need to know, i make edits
So, she can absorb knoledge! Cool!
They better get her right the next time she shows up in live action.
Give the people what they want and let her wreck Carol Danvers.

if only they didn't nerf rogues ass.
How down bad do you have to be to post this shit
That is the exact opposite of what cap would have done
Because of "Civil War" ? Maybe this is before that arc ? I mean, isn't his character arc to learn to see beyond the soldier ?
