    Homemade Burger Buns 🍔
500g x Strong White Bread Flour
    7g x Fast Action Yeast
    30g x Caster Sugar
    10g x Salt
    25g x Melted Butter
    300ml x Tepid Milk
    1 x Egg (Beaten)
    Seeds for sprinkling
    1. Place 500g of strong bread flour into a mixing bowl and make a well in the centre using the back of a spoon.
    2. Add in 7g of fast action yeast, 30g of sugar, 10g of salt, 25g of melted butter and 300ml of tepid milk.
    3. Mix together from the centre of the bowl, gradually drawing in the flour from the outside until it forms a dough.
    4. Lightly Flour a work surface and tip out the dough. Knead for 10 minutes. Until it looks shiny and smooth.
    5. Place the dough back into the mixing bowl, cover with a clean damp cloth and leave to prove for 1 Hour.
    6. After 1 hour, uncover the dough and press out the air. Divide the dough into 8 equal sized pieces and roll them into balls.
    7. Place the dough balls onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Wet your hand and firmly press the dough balls as flat as you can.
    8. Beat 1 egg and brush onto the burger buns. Cover again and leave for 30 minutes.
    9. After 30 minutes, uncover and brush once more with the egg. Sprinkle with the seeds of your choice or leave plain if you prefer.
    10. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Enjoy!

    3 Cups + 2 Tbsp flour, 2.5 Tbsp sugar, 1.75 tsp salt, 1Tbsp + 2 tsp butter, 1.25 Cups milk, 2.25 tsp yeast (or 1 packet). 356 degrees F for 20-25 mins

Kitchen scale is genius! No two people measure the same. Weighing ingredients is foolproof every time ❤ I bought a scale during the lockdowns to make sourdough starter & breads bc I never had consistent results. Now it’s the same every time I cook. $12 on Amazon or a store bought scale is good 😊 no more frustration.

      7g x Fast Action Yeast
      30g x Caster Sugar
      10g x Salt

Any good baking recipe should be in grams. You can buy a little scale for like 10$. It makes everything way easier and more precise. But with small measurements like 7g of yeast or something it’s still usually better to use the volumetric measurement. But yea basically American bakers would use grams too
