Seems much better than expeditions. Few things I wish this new game include is: 1. Manual transmission. 2. Weight sensitive bridges, may it be wooden or concrete. If you are moving heavy trucks, they break and you'll need to repair them every time you break them 3. Multiple semil/full trailer hauling missions like snowrunner and not just construction simulator or scouting simulator like Expeditions. I wish atleast this things to be present in this game 😂
Expeditions is completely different type of game. It’s more of an exploration and discovery. The devs were just giving more of what a lot of people liked in snowrunner.
This looks like exactly what I have been wanting from Snowrunner. I have greatly enjoyed driving the challenging roads in SR, but at the same time it is so depressing seeing the state they are in. If I was really working in such situations I would have started by at least clearing the debris properly and then improved the worst sections. One feature I hope they'll add in a DLC is building drainage ditches. It would be awesome looking at the topology of the of the land, then plan and dig ditches to dry muddy and flooded roads. In Finland a logging roads in the middle of a forest have a better drainage than the biggest highways in Snowrunner.
I want to make a small addition to the cars unknown to the author: No. 3 is a trailed military crane 8T26, paired with a single-axle tractor MAZ 529E or MoAZ-546P. No. 10 is the LP-19 felling and packing machine. No. 11 is a crawler crane similar to both Grove GHC30 and Sennebogen 633. No.17 is most likely either ZiL 133G40, or some kind of KAMAZ, something like KamAZ 65117. No.18 is a KS-6571 crane in this case it was made on the MAZ 537 chassis, but initially this crane was mounted on the MAZ 543 chassis. No. 19 is LADA NIVA 1922 Bronto-March.
This game would have been in development for years before Expeditions came out. Both were likely green lit around the time of Snowrunners release, becasue of it's success.
Players have been wanting to move things around and fix roads since Spintires days. Would be nice to have that in snowrunner, but I'd imagine they didn't want to delay snowrunner launch with more features, and are now wary of breaking the old game by adding major new mechanics.
@brooksrownd2275 same what i was thinking. Itherwise they just add it as a dlc in snowrunner. I wish already more work on the maps and impact while doing the tasks. Cant wait for this. 😊😊❤

I really liked Snowrunner when I first started playing it. After the first 3 or 4 maps it got boring, repetitive and unrewarding. This game looks like it should fix most of those issues. Being able to build bridges, roads and repair things will make it feel like you're actually doing something. Building bridges was one of the best things about Snowrunner but its all you get to build. You struggle to cross the river and have to find alternate routes. Then you build the bridge and you drive straight across. Like I did that, I did something, I'm proud of myself. But other than that Snowrunner was just a lot of drive from point A to point B through horrible muddy roads and it never gets any easier. How are you supposed to run a functional business when almost no vehicle or driver can get around? Why not BUILD A ROAD.
I was playing spintires today again and one thing I noticed was that having the ability to micro your input on the throttle made driving way more enjoyable and soon enough I had finished one of the maps. If they gave us that option in snowrunner and in this one, I would be really happy hauling things.
Maybe the developers say that we will build roads but seeing the big cranes it gives me the impresion that we will do more things that just build roads
A tree remover? On one hand, great for those instances where trees kept getting in the way for larger trucks on common routes and shortcuts, but on the other hand trees definitely helped save a number of my trucks from fully tipping over with a quick winch. We're not exactly going anywhere in a hurry. Cranes with multiple ropes? On one hand, it probably wouldn't be too different than the single-rope cranes we got in SR, loads will still be swinging from movement and subjected to collision physics. On the other, having those additional ropes would make cargo less prone to mindlessly flailing around and tipping about so they don't wobble and become even more difficult to aim, but they're probably still gonna be annoying to rotate and line up. We've been asking for bulldozers and the ability to clear roads of rocks and debris and had to rely on mods that would break from updates, but now? "Fine, I'll do it myself." Probably won't be the end of Snowrunner, at least not yet. I'm sure there'll be DLC to move around to keep the money maker game up and running, but if RoadCraft takes off strong it could be a solid contender. MAN KAT is powerful truck. Maybe this is an idea for a DLC for SnowRunner? Recently only large ones have been added and normal ones have been forgotten.
Yeah, I'dhat's definitely a MAN KAT. Maybe we'll get the 6x6 variant too. As for the other 6x6, I'm thinking it's a Kamaz. the 8x8? Maybe another Maz. Im finding there's a lot of licensable vehicles, but they chose not to get the licenses. As for the mobile crane, I think it's a modification of a normal excavator, as nothing like that really exists.
honestly they all look similar to me....It could be a mix of various models...One thing I found out while searching for it is that closed cabin is not very common in these machines.
This game looks amazing. Really looking forward to playing this one. Snowrunner was an amazing game at the start, but Got very repetitive after a couple of seasons going up and down the same shitty roads and getting stuck all the time.. I just said fck that enough is enough and didn't play again. It needed to let you build better raods like this new game is doing hopefully.
The Kirovets-based tractor looks like a K-702 - a model with inverted drivetrain. It has engine at the back and a shovel at the front. So no, it's not driving backwards on 1:30.
To me, It looks like a mixture of various K700 series tractors...the slanting hood is from 1st gen K700 that we have in SR, the bumper & overall stance is from K700A that we had in MR and now when you mentioned it...the driving backward thing is from K702.

1:52 the tractor thing is most likely based on MoAZ
1:54 This is a MoAZ-546 special crane 8T26(rus. МоАЗ-546 кран специальный 8Т26), 2:08 This is most likely the Ural 375, 4:51 it looks like a d-211 skating rink, but it has no cabin
I thought no 9 was some kind of Pipeline Trencher. Good to see it was actually a dozer.
snowrunner = mudrunner with a fresh coat of paint ..... roadcraft = snowrunner with a fresh coat of paint....
7:40 probably one of those yamal’s that float on water
Instant buy for me! 😍
Seeing a dump truck addon makes me hope the derry 4520 will return because I've seen some modified to be dump trucks, but tbh if it does return I'd like to see them base it more on the newer m1070s rather than the older one like how it is in SR
I seriously havent even come CLOSE to completing Snowrunner and have over 200 hours in it.
I can't wait for this game got damn
7:36 maybe its vaz 2329
7:09 maybe its kamaz mustang
the mods for this game will go crazy
4. Ural-375, first generation of Ural with short hood for petrol engine
19. maybe basen on G-wagen.
4th is definitely a Ural that's for sure, it could be Ural-375 also....19th is Niva Bronto Marsh as pointed out in comment section.
Man this game looks promising
17. looks like some kind of KamAZ, probably the 5410 model, with a white cab/paintjob
Unidentified 4-wheeler seems to be Niva SUV with extra modifications and elongated pickup hull (Niva pickups exist)
That front grill of Ural-like looks almost like on Praga S5T
3. Unidentified Crane Truck is 8T26 on MAZ-529v
MAN KAT is powerful truck. Maybe this is an idea for a DLC for SnowRunner? Recently only large ones have been added and normal ones have been forgotten.
That's available as mod. 6x6 and a more detailled 8x8.
I believe, that Asphalt Paver is closer to Stalinets. I see him IRL often, and it's pretty similar to me
honestly they all look similar to me....It could be a mix of various models...One thing I found out while searching for it is that closed cabin is not very common in these machines.
I never thought a stump grinder would get me excited but after all the trees in sr it’s payback time
This game looks amazing.
5:53 i love crane vehilces!
