10 min video on jobs? naaah, the asians have got it sorted centuries ago, you only have 4 options 1. doctor 2. lawyer 3. engineer 4. disgrace to the family
I couldn’t find a list, so here you go: 1. Medicine and IT in medicine eg. working on machines for surgery 2. Creative professions Jobs that AI and technology can’t recreate like video editing, architects and photographers. 3. Sales Sales is moving towards individual/personalised care that can’t be recreated by technology. 4. Food Basic automation. Consumers are eating out more/cooking less. 5. Developers Software devs, UX/UI engineers. At the forefront of technology. 6. Education Languages and skills. Unorthodox like the Finnish schooling system. Teachers will be in high demand, most likely online learning will be in more demand. Future jobs: trash engineers, drone operator, be engineer, educational advisor, body/organ creator. Jobs that won’t be in demand in the future: 1. Agricultural 2. Postal services 3. Data entry
I'm not sure agriculture will not be useful in the future. More and more people are searching for ,,biological" food, less processed food and more healthy one. Moreover, all the food industry starts from agriculture (for example the chicken and potatoes for fast foods are obtain due to agriculture). And there are far more examples. So I strongly believe that this sector is so underrated now, but in the future won't lost.
I think there’s also psychologists and therapists who will be in demand as there are more and more depressed people not knowing what to do with their life, or because simply AI can’t yet replace them
Critical thinking skills will always be in high demand. Never stop asking these two questions: 1) Why do we do things that way? 2) How can we do it better? Very useful video, Marina!

Well, maybe. But plans are for AI to be autonomous in this regard too, so the question is : what will be left for humans if physical jobs will be even less paid than nowadays and AI will be programming itself. What then? I guess nobody is thinking about just because for people wh feel stronger than robots and AI now such things are hard to imagine. But let's not forget that even creators of first computers believed that maybe the world will need in the future a few of them, not millions at every home. As for programming- currently poverty is still linked to lower math skills, especially among females. But nobody cares about it. Yet it's hard to imagine that someone can try to learn programming without getting solid math skills first. So if lack of programming skills is illiteracy it's a simple consequence of neglecting math literacy on a global scale.
AI already does it for cities in Saudi Arabia with no human intervention - analyzes and solves the problems. Intution is something very logical that simply comes from past experience, so AI can develop it as well. Without being good at maths one will never avoid certain logical mistakes with the code and problems with making a software friendly for AI, so good luck with your coding career if math is not your strong suit. Math based coherence of coding will grow in importance as systems of AI will become more complex and more integrated in Internet of things.

You made it sound like photography and videography are smart choices. You also have to pick professions which are in high demand and low supply. Everyone with a camera is a “photographer.” And everyone knows someone who will do it for free. If the field has a low barrier to entry, then it’s probably not going to pay very well.
I agree, don't know how or why that made the list, but engineers, scientists didn't, and according to her photography is more important than trucking. Online education is great and definitely has its place but there are some key factors that are missing from it. Education is not only about funneling information into one's head. When you go to a traditional school with a physical campus you learn lessons both from lectures and from your peers. I've learned as much from lectures as from classmates outside the classroom, if not more. These real-world interactions are hard to replicate online, at least while VR is not as real as what you see in the movie The Matrix. Also, a person's ability and willingness to learn are based on motivation. When there are no external motivators such as peers and instructors to stimulate you, your motivation will begin to wane. With online learning, there is also little accountability - the only accountability you may have is to anonymous avatars on a screen.

2. Creative professions
Jobs that AI and technology can’t recreate like video editing, architects and photographers.
3. Sales
Sales is moving towards individual/personalised care that can’t be recreated by technology.
4. Food
Basic automation. Consumers are eating out more/cooking less.
5. Developers
Software devs, UX/UI engineers. At the forefront of technology.
6. Education
Languages and skills. Unorthodox like the Finnish schooling system. Teachers will be in high demand, most likely online learning will be in more demand.
Future jobs: trash engineers, drone operator, be engineer, educational advisor, body/organ creator.
Jobs that won’t be in demand in the future:
1. Agricultural
2. Postal services

In my opinion not learning programming languages skills will become in the future the new illiteracy.
Math based coherence of coding will grow in importance as systems of AI will become more complex and more integrated in Internet of things.

unless you’re in a medicine or highly stratified science, college is more about learning how to collaborate, utilize modern technology, meet deadlines, and master information that may or may not be useful. it’s less about the content and more about the general skill building. you could argue that you’d get these skills in any workplace, but commitment to a concept for four/five years shows discipline and adaptability, which is a good sign for employers. I find this list really tragic!
The idea that education is moving to a more customised education system is going to leave young people lacking in so many essential life skills which play such an important role on making us well rounded creatures.
To lose professions such as farming and agriculture is so tragic! Its a noble and beautiful profession which allows people to work directly with the most spectacular creation of all which is our natural world.

For the record, Data analysis is gonna sky rocket.

Hello..
i am based in KSA and interested in the same business area. May we exchange some ideas
I'm aiming to get into law, and become a lawyer or barrister. Recently in the UK, lawyers are getting paid up to 150k starting salaries, after coming out of university. This is because they are in such high demand, and it looks like it will be staying that way for the foreseeable future.
I'd love to watch an updated video of this, especially after the pandemic. Thank you in advance!
do you think a creative career has a future? I come from the film industry and I'm thinking about what else to do now.
Hi Marina , I gotta say I find quite interesting all your videos 😃. Even without watching it , I liked because to be honest I know it would be interesting and awesome and will give us some knowledge. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 🙂
Thanks for the cool video! In my opinion, entrepreneurship and new ideas will always have place😌
Agree with you
Was thinking the same! every future job listed here has a potential market on its own for entrepreneurs to have early footing. many interesting things.
Only young people haw creative mind.
Yes correct
Be your own boss!
pretty sure people as helpful and beautiful as you will always have a future
It really opens my mind in which field I should stay! Currently I’m in sales but sometimes I wonder and I don’t know is this what I really wanted. Thank you for this video! Love it❤️
For these IT jobs you need a ton of skill to get the job especially UX design, create an awesome portfolio and then you can apply

The best jobs in the future according to me. ÷
1. Digital Marketing.
2. Artist (Any Kind Of).
3. Spirituality. (I would consider this as a successfully needed habit especially Hinduism .)
What I wish : All these should be balanced in this ratio.

this video makes me hate technology. I feel like Kyle Reese!
Then why are you using your phone or your computer right now
Yea terminator
mococaboy17 We shouldn't hate technology. It would just stop us from developing. Instead, we should get prepared for the future. We should decide more wisely about what career we want to pursue and how are we going to get people who are going to lose their jobs because of AI and technology a job (if you're in a position where you can decide these stuff).
Technology hates you too .I.
I want to be a chef. I'll be going to culinary school next year. I'm studying marketing and sales rn at a Jamaican college, I'm Jamaican and we graduate in grade 11, so I'm 16.

People will not have jobs in the future so no money for fancy foods. Cheap mass produced foods made by robots is the future
I don't think agriculture is not gonna have any hope in future.. in fact it's going to have high value in future.. After all we are humans and unfortunately our digestive system doesn't have the capacity to digest concretes or the computer hardwares..
Exactly
It's about agricultural job not agriculture but
Nowadays people don't want to do farming too
Agriculture will always be there but the jobs with be replaced by the machines.
I didn't necessarily understand all of it but I definitely liked the fact that you didn't sneer at anyone's potential job description.
Where are pilots , engineers , scintists ?
It is included ..
Sorry but commercial pilots are to be replaced
So cool, I just subscribed on Skillshare, thank you for the two-month offer, that's great! I've been thinking for a long time about the many things I'm interested in learning, but you know, you can't just take a 1 or 2-year course and hope it works out. But to learn from the professionals first is the best way to get an insight into the field. Can't wait to start learning!
In my country, there's actually an ongoing research about what professions will be needed, what are the necessary skills needed - in the next 5-10 years and what education those skills require. So this is a very necessary and interesting topic, thanks for sharing!
I, for example, don't plan on keeping one job or one profession. I think one of the important things in the future (and now, also) is the ability to learn and evolve and to have a diverse skill set. I want to learn many things to be sure that I'll have a plan A and B and C ...
I cant agree w u more =)) we shouldnt put all eggs in one basket
@@tranhuongnhi5847 Plus, it's good to stay curious - it's a wonderful world to discover :)
@@liisl.8525 you're right. Having diverse skills and experiences are very important for your career. When one's struggle to have a job in a particular field, you'll be more prepared to work in whatever the position because you have more than one skill
How are you liking Skillshare? DO you think it's worth trying it out?
l've been trading for 7months now but no good returns rather I loss and blow up my account, really heart breaking.
I'm totally confused as well, my portfolio has drained drastically, I'm now very scared of Trading crypto, can't figure out what's wrong. I need to know how this works.
@Williams Michael Trading by yourself is not a good idea, All you need now is a professional trader else you will continue making losses.
@Williams Michael That's true, you need an Expert broker and account manager to make good profit from bitcoin trade.
As a beginner who don't understand how Bitcoin trade really woks and you really want to make profit from it. I'll advise you to first start working with a professional broker.

I think chemistry in scientist would be in highly demand especially chemical engineers.

Does anyone have a list of all the jobs she mentioned, she is waffling too much.
A good portion of them are bullshit jobs that only contain marketable value and usefulness in hippy places like San Francisco..
@@lefthanded5473 Agree on that...Jobs are going down the drain as robots do things better, faster, cheaper. Shift is going into any job they still can't do due to poor AI and making sure they do their job correctly as a middle man, repair them and build is already an obvious subject (heavy industry, research, science...). With no jobs there is no money, so what ever people think they can do to squish money of unemployed people ain't very realistic. Is up to the local government to ensure everyone get their fare share of our Mother Earth Tits.
I'm watching this video in November 2021 and wow so many things are on point. Doctors/ Medicine/ Fitness/ Online Studies/ Content Creators and all these have soared in 2020.

I will forever be indebted to you you've changed my whole life continue to preach about your name for the world to hear you've saved me from a huge financial debt with just little investment, thanks so much Jessica Garner
Wow, amazing to see others trading with Ms,Jessica Garner, I am currently on my 5th trade with her and my portfolio has grown tremendously.
l also invest with mrs Jessica Garner, she charges a 20% commission on the profit made after each trading session, which is fair compared to the effort she put in to make huge profits.
This is not the first time I am hearing of Mrs. Jessica Garner and her exploits in the trading world but I have no idea how to reach her..
My first investment in mrs.Jessica Garner gave me the confidence that led me to invest without fear of loss. I have already taken 3 of my friends to their guide and they are fine.
She is really great at what she does with amazing skills, she changed my 0.1BTC to 2.1BTC within two weeks of trading, I am now fully confident that she is reliable.

Hi beautiful, I have just discovered your English language channel, although it has existed for three years on TH-cam. I give you my warmest congratulations and I promise you that I will follow your every video. Good evening to you 🤩🤩🤩
What happens to the people who lose their current jobs to technology? Will they be unemployed for a long time? If so, would they need to go to school and practice a profession and somehow pay for it despite not having a job to pay for school because technology replaced them?
thank you Marina, your videos are enlightening. what happens to professions in music, drama, security? I personally would hate going to a robot coffee shop. The dehumanizing of society scares me.
“AI cannot create awesome pictures, videos, cannot write text”
Well in 2023, yes it can
And that was just in 4 years. Imagine what it'll be able to do in 10-20?
Network Marketing!! If you’ve had a bad experience you were probably taught wrong or simply did not have enough support. It is the best career path in my humble opinion.
Great video
Thank you Marina
I learn alot from your TH-cam channel especially those videos about English language.
Your accent is perfect
I hope one day I can speak English fluently like you.
What about accountants? Is it worth trying to pursue my degree in accounting? I fear automation may make those jobs obsolete too.
i would say data scientist
Yes it was
Yeah sure they are being automated, however jobs will still be there due to the variables/verification etc
I don’t think the Accounting profession will be eliminated. Automation will significantly reduce the number of Accountants needed. In the near future, being highly experienced is what will help you get a job not being top of the class.
