I just bought a 2016 F800 GS Adventure 2 months ago and you were my first F800 youtube videos I ran into. Well edited and narrated....oh yeah also fun to watch. Picked up a fair amount of info on my new bike from you, and great to see you out and using the bike. I'm here in Southern Kalifornia so most of my riding is desert on my Honda XR650R, but still haven't had a chance to take my F800 out yet...You mention airing down, what do you run on the street and the dirt?....we have no rim locks so it seems you can't air down too much like I do for my XR....Please keep videoing, really enjoy them! Hey guys. It's been a very busy summer, riding as often as I could. I finally found and explored "The Scotch Road". Finally! I even found the sandpit and I felt like I was unauthorized to be there without your permission. In my mind's eye as we booted around, I saw some BMW's and the MIGHTY DR. Yes, I wish you guys were there to introduce us... And we even saw the small water crossing by the bridge. I didn't try it though. Maybe I will one day, only with you guys as my witness. Anyway, yesterdays ride was good and I wish you guys were there!

One of the more comical trips I've seen you guys take. At least from a spectators vantage point. Nice to see that HP2 again, I really like that bike. Where's Henrik? I actually found you guys 3-4 years back thanks to him and a search for DR650s.

Guy in his pyjamas stuck on a log in a Honda Civic, man in full camo who walked out of the woods and said he was practicing, not sure what he was practicing, guys with guns shooting, man squatting out a turd, guys stuck in a Jeep with only a bag of croissants as tools. Interesting place.
+Awesome Players by the way... I'm actually a torn between two bikes. You guys for sure know the DR650, but what do you think about the KLR650? I live in Costa Rica and want to do muddy trails, tarmac and even commute. Both are the same price here, but I'm having trouble deciding which one to buy.
+MrOquedo I prefer the KLR. I have owned 2, Joe and Henrik have had one as well. Better comfort on the highway, big gas tank. Nice looking and just as good in the dirt. Seat is taller than DR.

Haha had a similar incident years ago. Went on short hike with the wife and kids up a local trail (class IV road). As the bugs were getting a bit heavy we decided to turn around. It was then I thought I heard a car just over the hill. I hiked up and spied a guy hopelessly stuck in a mudhole in his jeep cherokee along with his pissed-off girlfriend and infant. I told the guy to relax for a bit, and I would pull him out with my Jimmy after I got back home. I ride this trail frequently in the Jimmy (one ton axles, 39" tires, it's an off-road beast). He was mired pretty good, it took a few tugs to free him. It was then he told me the Cherokee was a 2WD version! I was kinda surprised he made it as far as he did (he came from the other direction, it was pretty gnarly in places).
SOme people are pretty optimistic. We came across some guys stuck in a Cherokee with all season tires and all they had for recovery gear was a bag of croissants.

Glad you had a good time. There is a lot of good stuff around the Scotch Road. We found a whole bunch of new trails just this summer.
Nice to have summer, here in Sweden it is winter brrr, but we drive. :)
