They were so good... Chrissy was a Star.. and still is . Chrissy is the greatest Aussie front woman. So original. RIP Such an incredible performer in every way.
It would be impossible to heap too much acclaim on Chrissie and the band. For those of us fortunate enough to have seen them live MANY times it was simply sublime. She was so enigmatic and ultimately indefinable with a killer rock voice and attitude. And do I have to mention again she had a serious, serious band that blew you away. RIP Chrissie and thanks for those amazing nights.
OMG I'm so glad I found this video. This is one of my favorite songs ever, thank you for existing Chrissie, and thank you for touching millions of people's hearts, your music shall live on and you will be missed. I love you Chrissie.
I always like to say a prayer for all the DRAGON (females are queens) areCHORDing to #ROBaeeennHOBBhodd=drakes a males of thses pleased ? Hey if you do not underSTUMBLE THEN FARGE OFF AND DO NOT COMMENT, except for the loiverly personage posted here
Nice words kiddo. :) I was 12 when this song came out and loved it but did not get any sexual reference back then. Love their songs.. I remember thinking of being kissed in a "very nice place" as in a nice location hehe. Also the dude that commented below me is a weirdo creep.
When I was a teenager, seeing this video was the first time I had ever heard of this group. I remember being captivated by her lips and the baby doll like way she sang. Still love it today :)
the one and only crissy….beautiful angel.....sorely missed real Australian music......none of this taylor swift shit......never forgotten....Xx teach the angels how to sing crissy..
The 60's, 70's and 80's was so far the pinnacle of Australian music with the Divinyls sharing front row with the best. They live on in our ears and memories.
The original rocker!! I love you and all the great music. The state's never appreciated your music...what a loss...thank God I dug deeper...i listen still today!
I was 14 when this came out, definitely the best music time, seventies music wasn’t old, best was yet to come, then it fizzled away RIP, saw you live 1988 Expo 88
Used to play this on radio A LOT! Back in the day of vinyl and you had to be on the ball for the end of the song. (For those playing at home, count is "waiting"x10)
My favourite film clip version of this wonderful song by one of my all-time favourite bands of the 1980s. [Yeah... I fancied Chrissie Amphlett something chronic abck then. Me and only a couple of hundred million other guys!]
And it's back, thank you, this was unavailable except for a live version, in Australia at that! Great track, great band and Chrissy was always totally unique.
Great Song from a Great singer and band. Remembering all those Fantastic Nights when The Divinyls performed Live in Melbourne and Adelaide. RIP Chrissy
Rest in peace you gorgeous and amazing gift to the world. So strong in every way. What a powerhouse of a human being. You'll never be forgotten, it's impossible! You live in my heart, mind and on my turntable. You fill my world with the best of human emotions xxx xxx miss you
Back in the day, when you had lyrics that suggested at things, good chord progressions, amazing performances and massive sets for music videos! Ahh back when music generated money and there were budgets that could be spend... and ya know, people were employed!
I saw them live the last time they ever performed Chrissie was brilliant one of the best front woman ever sexy as hell and she could belt out a tune rest in peace Chrissie your sadly missed
I would have loved to hear Stevie Nicks cover this song. I think she would have done it justice being that it sounds like a tune that could have been on one of her albums.
Chrissy's movements in this video are very literal expressions of the lyrics and very reminiscent of Kate Bush's early videos in that respect who used her own training with mime artisit Lindsay Kemp to express lyrics with her body. Must read Chrissy's autobiography again.
Mick Jagger was born to head a rock band ... and nothing other than that. Chrissie Amphlett was born to head a rock band ... and nothing other than that.
Way AHEAD of her time. I can promise you that ths song and all her others will be revamped - rereleased - duplicated or whatever very very very soon. It rocked back in the day, but its going to explode again
Whats funny if Chrissy went on an IDOL show they say things like to much OVER THE TOP they couldn't bear her style she wouldn't have a chance . That's the truth. HOW CRAP IS MUSIC IS NOW.
Very crap. They seem to think that being a sexual object is more important than talent nowadays. Chrissy had so much of both, even though she never had to take her clothes off in music videos to prove it. She was my first crush and I think that most Aussie guys my age would agree.
Love this video. Christina Amphlett is seductively prancing and flirting for most of the video, then you see a few seconds of the backing musicians, sort of representing all the male viewers she's teasing
It used to be called a pout once upon a time...long before the ubiquitous selfie became a thing..kind of killed of the whole Brigitte/ Chrissy kittenish vibe. These days it just looks silly.
Such an incredible performer in every way.
RIP.
Musical erotica at its best. Oh, I miss you Chrissie. The best front woman rock has ever been blessed with. The good die young.

They were a killer band. Saw em many times in early 80s, touring with the Angels up and down the Northern Beaches, such great memories

This is timeless.she's at her sexiest here.

Legend.....Vale Chrissie....
Man, this so reminds me of the brief "diner scene" in the movie, "The Stepfather" (1987) with Jill Schoelen and Terry O'Quinn.
This song has a wonderful melancholy feel,an early morning song.
They keyboard in the chorus is absolutely spellbinding! Pure magic!
