My mum died of cancer awhile back and this was her favorite song it was played at her funeral. Every time I hear it I tear up. for years I didn't listen to it as it just caused me pain. Thank you dido for making my mother happy.

Screw you phone lines, music was waaay more important to me at the time than people trying to reach whomever they needed to and make sure their families were ok.....

No, she isn't underrated because she was a huge pop idol in her generation (early 00's). But then, she decided to take a brake and make a family. When she came back, a lot of new singers like...yes, the Taylors, the Katys and Mileys took her place. Now Dido's albums are just a bunch of masterpieces on nostalgia trips. World changes and keeps spinning everyday, bro. And even the pop stars couldn't escape from that.

But at the end of the day, it is true that in some cases like this, two people who do deeply love each other shouldn’t be together for their own sakes. It may not have been infidelity or something terrible that tore them apart, but whatever it was can’t be forgotten and may not be able to be mended. Or they just weren’t a good match.
So she pretends to move on despite how much she loves him and is very graceful about it to keep them both from getting hurt further. Love this.
