How Loud are Toyo Open Country Mud Tires? Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro!

  • เผยแพร่เมื่อ 18 มี.ค. 2021
  • In this video I showcase just how noisy these Toyo Open Country mud tires are on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro... These are quite a bit louder than Nitto Ridge Grapplers and BFGoodrich KO2s. But... these are also a more superior off road tire.
    These are 285/70/17s 👌🏻
    Would I purposely choose these tires? No. Do they have a fantastic reputation off road? Yes.
    What do you think? Would you rock these?
    Thanks for watching.

    Love the youngins' POV, he's gonna be a leader. Tire noise : I found when I ran terra grapplers on my 4runner (4hr hgwy), it wasn't bad. Just got my Tacoma with wranglers on it, lol, different ballgame. I'm putting Toyo ATIII this week on em, should be interesting for me. I love to look on those MT's though, but can only imagine how that would feel and sound after the 4hr ride.

    The road noise is not that bad below 45mph. Highway speeds are different... I can deal with the noise, plus you can always turn up the radio. The one tire I really noticed a tremendous amount of road noise was the Nitto Mudd Grapplers on a full size truck. How are they in rain and snow? Any hydroplaning?

    • @andyham6094
      @andyham6094 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Definitly, a lot of people think mt’s and more aggressive tread is better in snow but they are much worse than at’s. Falken wildpeaks or ko2’s are amazing in the snow. If you are obviously off roading all the time in dirt and mud, then mt’s are the way to go but there’s a reason overlanders all use AT’s, they are versatile and get the job done in any condition.
