I'm not even a tattoo artist. I've just been drawing realism so long I'm a slave to the reference. 😭 I love how neo trad simplifies the everything while not being too cartoony. Love the video! Thanks a lot man.
I was there.
I was a printer years ago.
But then I wanted to create something what - I wanted....
And then I gave myself a freedom.. And then I switched styles.
Still using realism tricks, but into different styles
This actually helps alot, I've recently wanted to jump into this style and watching this gives me a good understanding, thx for sharing 😄

I would do that too at first, cuz when I try to hear you and adjust my volume its ok but when the music hits the scene all my neighbours wake up at the middle of the night :D :D :D :D :D
SO...
try to find a program that allows you to use following:
a visualisation for your sounds inside of a video project, you will see then how many differences here are and maybe adjust the differences.
Also
try using a program that allows you to use a built in compressor software and run it over your whole project
If you dont know what a compressor in terms of music or sound does.. -> I'd like you to check that out on youtube aswell and see what it does and trust me big one on this... IT WILL LEVEL UP YOUR VIDOES ;)

Hey mate! I'm curious to know, what did you apply for the grey tone before adding your colors ?
Copic markers ir brush markers, to make one or two tones darker in some places . You can use grey pencil as well , not black pencil , but proper grey pencil

What paper do u use? Special one for markers or not?
I buy really thick paper.
So it can take some abuse.
And markers don't bleed through
Something like 160 mg... Or more
And smooth. So when I shade, its a smooth shade.. No small bumps
