What they did to Faiza was despicable and shines yet more light on Starma and his subversive project. This is about Rulership of the UK and the electorate should not tolerate any Party that is racist, dishonest, dim and/or devoid of basic human mercy. We wish Faiza the Best in securing the chance to represent her faithful and hopefully a wave of newcomers aswell. Faiza's intelligence and heart is something that Westminster is so pitifully lacking and not supporting her in her rise is a grave mistake. Good Luck !

The current way of selection of the Labour Party candidates appears to be undemocratic.
Historically, would the national executive of the Labour Party of Attlee have had the authority to deselect Bevan because he described the Tories as, "No better than Rats!" I don't believe Attlee had the authority, or even the desire, under the rules at that time.

Sitting MPs are not automatically re-selected by Labour, therefore, the Labour Party rules should be reviewed. It is clear that Raiza has been brutally deselected by the backroom boys and girls. It is like something out of the, "Thick of It" and "The Death of Stalin". As you say Churchill was selected by the Tories for various constituencies. I'm sure there would be discussions behind the scenes as to his preferences.
The deselection of a successful sitting Labour MP, like Raiza, without discussion of an alternative constituency is I believe unprecedented. I believe it has little to do with ethnicity but more to do with her politics that differ from Starmer's.

@@Celadonfae all the above is correct, ya need enormous capital investment. The NHS and British medicines longer term reputation is good enough that people see it as people see Turkey to get that funny hairline and teeth fix.
Where's the money come from? £18.7B? Wealth tax 1% above £5M raises over £40B. Personally I prefer deploying all wings of military to operate logistical and medical roles within state to reduce our spending, eg: the pilots sitting ideal (540) doing agreed number of shifts in commercial flights like 50/yr. the royal logistical core, can be farmed out to companies requiring logistical operations and obvs as much as possible as a force for good abroad, building modular cities installing energy chains. Basically use the military during peace as the first example of a government funded service that sits above capacity and when not needed can take on private work to fund itself, this brings in money to fund initial NHS investment and proof of concept to sure up borrowing... Is this beyond acceptable opinion 😂

@@jake751 it's terrible! And super expensive for the actual medical care -$150,000 avrg cancer bill. I don't agree with private healthcare but premiums would go down if medical providers in US has to compete with insurers paying the NHS only say $100,000 then we get subsidised healthcare and our cousin's in the US get cheaper healthcare options 👍

@@Celadonfae did my reply come through? First proof of concept is using military as a logistics firm for air traffic, hgv transport etc etc. That allows the gov to make money fund the NHS and then the NHS can start making money -think we need £20B to kick start the NHS as self funding

Dougie Ross: "A Tory, a referee and two politicians walk into a bar, and they're all the most unpopular man in Scotland" goes one of the jokes. There are others, but they're probably not suitable for Novara's comments. How can you go to football and NOT abuse the referee when he's a Tory MSP? He takes (or gets?) appointments only in the lower divisions of the SFA these days. Whether that has to do with his grading as a referee I can't say, but after he got in trouble for not declaring his football earnings he promised the Tory whips he would cease taking appointments to midweek games. The joy of now refereeing before smaller crowds in smaller grounds must be the greater clarity of political jibes. No longer just waves of booing from a SPL crowd, but if Auld Tam with the booming voice at the shed end combines his demand for a penalty with last week's Tory scandal, Dougie can hardly fail to get the message. Not only that, but the moment will be lightened as everyone else laughs.
At least, I hope that's how it works at Alloa Athletic, Stenhousemuir, Stirling Albion, etc.

Conservatives talk about Nationalism and Patriotism whilst they themselves get rich by selling of the nations wealth and resources to foreign corporations and inflict poverty on the working class, British Sugar, British Steel, British Airways, British Gas, British Telecom, British Rail, British Goal, British Petroleum, British Electric and Water, British Aerospace, Royal Mail and so and so forth all sold. And now they are planning the same for the NHS.
