Andrew Marr took umbrage at Chomsky during a BBC interview and asked him if he was suggesting that he (Marr) was a biased journalist. Chomsky famously replied, "I'm saying that if you thought in any other way, then you wouldn't be sitting there."

@@brianwheeldon4643 I agree too. But Matt needs to deepen his knowledge of History. The American Empire started long before he dates it. Try 1890s for starters, but in fact 1776 even better and the first landing of the very grim pilgrims even better. History and the chain of causes and consequences unfolds over many centuries. Colonialism was the first source of Capital and the chain of Empires which is now climaxing in its Atlantist avatar.

Every word he said was true as we have either seen, read or experienced. It was particularly interesting he did mention things about Duncan, LFI and CFI that we did read but not through legacy media. Also glad he mentioned the Trilateral journey of Starmer, another clear fact I heard long time ago through UnHerd but it is clearly stated in Wikipedia external link, etc, etc. He had to cut his Trilateral membership before mak8ng his application for leadership as it's enforced by rules set by Trilateral! Yet, I need to know why Murdochian are not openly showing their support 🤔🤔🤔 useful to know.

@@leomickleborough9686 not everyone can be an expert in everything. Matt Kennard does a lot of good work and is very critical of the western security services, I don't think it's "telling" so much as it is that Kennard's work has focused more on other areas, and so in a 1 hour interview that's naturally what they've gravitated towards. Ukraine did come up briefly in his criticism of Bellingcat, but an in depth discussion of the geopolitics of Ukraine is not, to my knowledge anyway, something Kennard has a lot of expertise in. And from what I've seen of him he's usually quite careful to caveat this statements whenever speculating, and be careful to speak mostly about what he has actually done the work on and can point to reliable evidence for

I'm 79 and have always known that the system we live under is shit; malevolent with a smile on its face so to speak.
