For those of you reading this: Clones used to have different voices and accents in Star Wars Legends. This is seen in Republic Commando, Battlefront II, and somewhat in the Clone Wars Microseries.
wow, the bad guys have ships from the old SITH EMPIRE? Those was light cruisers compared to their capital ships, i hope to see Harrower Class Battleships now.
Very cool! The animation is great, I think that it should've been one voice actor for all the clones but otherwise great. The music is great and the writing is pretty good. The "No such thing as luck captain" line is kinda stupid but that's it.
Especially since he had Shape Shifter, arguably the best baker voice on the cast, ps the line is a reference to the first episode in the geonosis arc in clone wars, ki adi mundi said it to his clone commander
Whoever you got to do the clone Captain's voice is fricking epic at their tamora morrison impression. But also my main criticisms of this film would be that it's a little fast at times, and the other's voice acting. When you're in the middle of a warzone you can't sound like you're just reading a script. It kinda ruins immersion a bit. Other than that I'm interested in the story aspects, though i think it took too long to get to them. So I'd say overall: film isn't bad. Needs work but not bad. 👍
Couldn't agree more, I will admit that I myself could have certainly put a lot more emotion into my characters voice. It's something we're aiming to improve for the next episode.
Wow this was pretty good dude! Gotta say though some of the voice lines just dont match the scenes to well, but I can't be too hard on ya because this is a fan film and those are never super high on the budget. Lol Other than that this was actually on par with 7 cube's recent episodes of the forgotten ones. I like the cliff hanger at the end too, it's well set up with the weird spooky sith guys at the start. Edit: Totslly forgot I actually already wrote a review, lol.

@@lordmael54 Well, that particular model has no interior, I simply used another map and put a clone in a cockpit model and added lights for the following effect, I honestly have no idea what alot of other content creators do, but tell you what. In the future maybe either Episode 2 or 3 comes out, I can do a Q and A, then maybe answer more peoples questions on how certain things are done, maybe even stream my progress, Plus those other content creators are probably very busy, I do alot of this by myself (Getting VA, animating, Sound work, and editing via Sony Vegas/ Adobe AE)

ok sit down this is a long one. I do have one question, why do all the clones sound different I also really dislike how every weapon is made to exactly copy the battlefront 2 version, instead of just copying them do some research on what the weapons actually do? and why do you feel the need to add every battlefront 2 gun? one thing that confuses me is that they said a CIS commander is attacking but from what this thing is it looks like the clones are just attacking a CIS-held world. and now for the timestamps 2:56 "this squad is very valuable to the republic" can you please stop with that, the only valuable squads the republic ever considered any military importance with are commandos, you would do better with an elite 104th team. 3:00 how are they a special case? all that it shows me that they are different from the other clones is that they are building a droid, that is it. 3:57 "clear the hanger area this is not a drill?" i know this is small but i have a problem with it, 1. clearing the hanger is not that big of a deal, they do it on a daily basis to launch patrols 2. do they have drills where they just leave the hanger area? because that's what it seems like 5:43 did something happen or did my computer just bug out? 6:14 easy mistake but the sith holocron is a triangle 8:15, why is there a pilot in the front lines and with a rifle no less 8:22 this shot is annoying, 1. an AT-RT is being dropped by a drop-ship, 2. that is one small dropship, the clone is as big and the entire front section. 3. drop ship fly down from space, so your telling me that that trooper flew down from the ship and sat there perfectly fine in the vacuum of space? 8:28 that At RT just one shoted a tank........ 9:04 you felt the need for battlefront 2 skins as well? there were no droids ever painted like the heavy droid. 9:16 battlefront 2 guns again! the DC-15A is not a machine gun! 9:37 did he just take out a drop-ship, a ship that can withstand anything less than a rocket with a rotary gun and with only 20 shots! 10:13 a sniper droid with the battlefront 2 gun.... are you kidding me 10:16 he just shot a handgun and it caused a thermal detonator level explosion 10:28 again with the battlefront 2! you cant overcharge a pistol! and may i ask how he knows he needs to overcharge? does he have a helmet cam on him or just stalking in the bushes when he needs to command an assault 3. why do you need tanks in the first place? just give the clone army pistols and you have won the war! 13:41 may I ask what a jedi temple guard is going on the front lines but despite its many many flaws, this was actually entertaining to watch, I loved all the military talk going on between the clone the FOB was in complete chaos with all the com traffic, that was great!, and i also enjoyed that they had objectives they needed to complete in order to gain certain advantages, like with the AA and the bombing run. this series has a ton of potential with both the characters and the storyline, i cant wait to see what happens next!
I am aware of the many errors of this episode and I regret not going back and fixing things, I mainly was testing the waters and seeing what I could do. I am happy for the other things you pointed out such as the BF2 assets, I did make them behave as they do in the game for coolness factor although I do like to be as Canon as possible but this is all Fanon and the other things such as the Jedi Temple Guard being on the Frontline will be explained in due time, I do apologize for other things not making sense such as the Dropships. There is a small silver lining; I do plan on remastering this episode in the future and I will definitely take what you said into consideration for EP2 Edit: I also would like to address that I also do work alot IRL and don't have too much time to work my animations or other things, I probably will only be able to put out one episode per year maybe, but I am very passionate about what I do and will still try to improve any way I can
Don’t know much about everything else, but the “battlefront 2 sniper” the droid used is an actual sniper used in the clone wars, it’s called the E-5S and is used in the arc where Captain Rex gets shot while on a speeder with a squad of clones.
rather impressive, though i do have some positive criticism, where i believe theres room for improvement (and no, i couldnt do better, before anyone asks) the combat related animations for the characters looked and felt slow and a bit unnatural/awkward. noncombat animation was great gunship and vehicle motion on the planet seemed a bit stiff and slow ---------------- positives voice acting was well done, especially some of the helmet filters for the non clones, like the temple guard. sound design was solid enough that i'd consider it to be on par with TCW (tis my opinion) the plot itself has me interested enough to subscribe for more. 7.5/10 overall. nicely done

As FieryNinja said this is more or less based on an old group we were in some years ago, so voices are different for story reasons and because it's the original group voicing our own characters. However we can definitely improve our voice acting and it is something we aim to get right for Episode 2.

The 2 shuttles being used---the clones & Jedi look like they're in a BT-7 Thunderclap and the ship that met the Sith cruiser looked like a X70-B Phantom, both from SWTOR.
In regards to us all sounding different, the main reason is due to this series representing stories from an old group of ours, most of the VAs here being members of said group, hence all of us sounding different. I do understand people taking issue with the differences in voices however and it is something we will definitely aim to improve upon for the next time!
Can we talk about how one of the VA’s sounds just like Tem Morrison? He should be voicing all the clones.

Might want to think about making the clones sound the same. I understand that there needs to be a way to tell them apart, but they are clones.
