Yeah this would work, have one rabbit hole career for the Therapist but have Matchmaker be an active career. After all, old EPs came with multiple careers. I think City Living had 3, as well as a whole new lot type, loads of new animations, festivals, so I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that from the devs.

The autonomous romantic interactions between townies that are in relationships is so fun- when I was playing the other day there were like 4 different townie couples all around cafe I was at just skygazing (even if two of them were... inside)
I was spending my day yesterday playing with horses in the sims 4. I've went to the horse training park in horse pack world. EVERY bench occupied with kissing pairs after installing lovestruck. Sims do nothing else then kissing and making out IN PUBLIC
Depending on where you live in the world, that could be a highly accurate representation of what real life is like though I feel like it adds some more realism in a way.. Kind of

I like careers period. Hybrid ones are my favorites (where you can choose work from home) but I like the variety. If I have multiple sims, I prefer only one of them have an active career while the rest have normal ones. If all of them had to be active, I would be OVERWHELMED
the romance popups and autonomy for other sims to make moves is legit something ive always wanted and is going to bring me back to playing sims 4. i have no dlc or anything, and i havent played since launch day bc i was SO disappointed. ive just been playing sims 3 for years. this entire expansion pack has changed my feelings on it lmao. thank u for these videos simsie theyre very comprehensive and informative.
Yeah early on I bought EPs at 50% off from EAs sales but then I discovered CDKeys and that was a game changer haha. With all the DLC I got, I probably paid a third of the price and I'm OK with that.
But Stanley doesn't just switch jobs, he switches life styles. Every time he quits a job he also moves from the home he build from the ground up to a new terrain just so he can build another house from scratch. Barry wish he was as committed to something as Stanley is to switching jobs.

I don’t know if dinner party/ house party is base game, but if you get gold on it, it boosts up your charisma level for 3 or 4 levels and it’s the fastest way to build charisma

I wish the sims had the option for each career to be active or non-active. When you first get the job, have a pop-up for the choice and be able to disable or enable the active career choice throughout the game.
Might be nice for them to add a rabbit hole option to the active careers as a middle ground because adding in a dozen more active careers sounds like something they'd never do
I like the hybrid careers. Best of all worlds really when done right (Get to work) Playing a solo sim? Go along with them to work and have fun. Playing a family? Send them off to work while you play the other sims.

It was probably scheduled to be published at a specific time. :) When you upload to youtube, you have an option to upload and then schedule when it goes public.

I have the same issue with apartments of sims randomly appearing in my space, if the door is locked in the room they seemingly spawn into they get trapped in there sometimes. Also had the randos running and screaming in just a towel go streaking through my apartments
I preordered lovestruck because I never ordered a pack early before and my husband told me I could and I wanted the items that came with the preorder. Anyways. I haven’t played since I preordered because everyone told me that the patch(s) broke the game and deleted all their saves so I was nervous. My daughter played with it a little bit and her sims were still there. But just the little bit I’ve seen from your videos Lovestruck sort of reminds me of The Sims Hot Date which was one of my favorite packs next to Making Making and Living Large 😂 Actually I love all the original packs with the sims
The matchmaker career has been the thing I've been most excited about with this pack, and it looks so much fun to play! I can see many of my sims becoming matchmakers in the future xD
I feel like they should have given Teens the option of a " Get to know you" date or a " Cute" date instead of a " Romantic" date, at least and just take the WooHoo part out. Like a Chaperoned date or a PG version. That happens in real life or make it an unlock after you become good friends with a few people, because then friendship can be the priority before dating.
You should use the the career unlock furniture when you do this kind of play test. You gain furniture in your house inventory. It could have been fun and it would be free furniture 😊 so more money for your sim💰 as it is a “rags to riches”
Speaking of wanting more careers...please, Sims Team, let me be the librarian. Please, please, please. (Do I /need/ a library kit/game pack that lets me actually have to borrow/return books, be the librarian, and maybe have little free libraries? No, but I want one so bad.)
