Grand turismo was good on ps1 and ps2 and kind of fell off on ps3 and ps4. Ratchet and clank isn't my kind of games, final fantasy was not my cup of tea. I have yet to make one purchase on a game because gamepass ultimate offers me day 1 releases and I can beta test more games and run them at 120fps because xbox series x can boost the cpu 10% more for hours without a draw back. Sony can do that for seconds at a time.
I'm surprised any japanese people still want to support Playstation considering they moved their HQ out of Japan to San Fransisco in 2016. The brand has pretty much given up on japanese games and is becoming fully westernized. PS1, PS2, PS3 were the best gens for playstation, PS4 was ok and PS5....😬.
PS5 could by the last Sony console I buy. I'm really not interested in Microsoft. So Nintendo. I think moving forward I'm going back to Nintendo. I play games on my PS5 but the only reason I own a 9th Gen console at all is GTA6. I purchased a 9th gen console for GTA6. I'm waiting on GTA6. Did I mention GTA6?
Was expecting it to be 700 euros but nope, it's 800 even though euro is stronger than dollar currently. Not that it matter to me anyway since sony no longer has games I care about and it mostly has ps3/4 ports anyway.
It's fine. Sony fanboys will still buy it. Same as Apple fanboys. I'll enjoy my new PC instead. Steam (and their sales) are going to give me more value in the long run.
I can tell you the staff at playstation Japan were NOT happy back when it happened. Some of the people who brought the biggest third party games (as exclusives) to playstation are no longer with the company
Sony started going down the drain after they moved the HQ to California. Bad decisions, bad games... And they don't care about the Asian (maybe just China) or the European market. They don't care about the customer or their image, only the share-holder/investors and the upper management (like CEO or CFO) bonuses are important. But those people all forget that it's the customer that brings the money not the investors. I also think you should take a look of how many PS5 have been sold for now, pretty sure not that much. That's also why they keep releasing on PS4. I think it's also bad just to make games for the PS5 Pro at least make games also for the normal PS5 too. My opinion at the end is that everyone should get a PC (with a disc drive build in or an external one) connected to the tv with wireless keyboard & mouse or wirless controller and maybe an Nintendo console. Most Xbox and Playstation games will be released on pc anyway and Nintendo is the only one that doesn't.
Sony Playstation has become completely arrogant and they won’t learn their lesson until they get destroyed financially. Concord was already one and PS5 Pro will be another. It must be said that it’s not all Sony, however. Sony Electronics is great imo because I bought their premium headphones and earphones and not only are they high-quality, but the customer service is great. They aren’t as successful though, while PlayStation is. Only when people are humble and hungry will they do right by customers.

HDR was the big selling point on PS4 pro
This is crazy. What is Sony doing?
$799=¥119k now 😂 i couple years ago it just ¥80k
I know😱
Sony has lost the plot. I am never paying this much for a console, especially one that doesn’t come as standard with a disc drive.
Canadian price, before tax, is $959.99
After tax, it will be closer to $1,100
Things will always get more expensive, $1000 today isn't worth nealy as much as $1,000 five years ago. Things only get cheaper when nobody wants them anymore.
I was a Sony pony front ps1 all the way to ps4. This generation when comparing both consoles, I got the series x because of games.
You lost me at 'xbox' and 'games'. 😂
7:31 is just a marketing gimick. Sony is learning from Apple. Just put PRO before the name then jack up the price.
Are there even 10 games that make the price worth getting an original ps5?
It’s just fancy marketing talk to convince you, you’re getting something special.
When are going to get the next Xbox generation?
PS4 was the only system we ever needed. Anything more is pointless.
Ps5 reminds me of Wii u.
Someone has to pay for Concord' flop...
Rather just hold my money for a Switch 2 plus several games. And what the Switch doesnt get PC covers
Showcasing mostly PS4 games for an over priced PS5 pro makes me think they want to push people towards PC gaming.
Was expecting it to be 700 euros but nope, it's 800 even though euro is stronger than dollar currently.
Not that it matter to me anyway since sony no longer has games I care about and it mostly has ps3/4 ports anyway.
Blame the VAT that is crazy high in Europe, not Sony.
@@IgnasV even before tax the pricing is nuts.
@@IgnasV Just checked it and new ps4s are both 300 euros and dollars for some reason though.
@@JohnDoe-ix4kx 640euros assuming 20% VAT most EU countries have higher VAT than that.
@@RyuSaarva because it's outdated model from 2013 with almost no new games coming out?
It's fine. Sony fanboys will still buy it. Same as Apple fanboys. I'll enjoy my new PC instead. Steam (and their sales) are going to give me more value in the long run.
めちゃくちゃ高いじゃん!
how do you feel that sony has abandoned japan? if you dont care i understand but its kind of a shameful display ya know? smfh sony has 0 loyalty.
It is sad Sony used to be a great company 🥲
I can tell you the staff at playstation Japan were NOT happy back when it happened.
Some of the people who brought the biggest third party games (as exclusives) to playstation are no longer with the company
basically Xbox is stepping out of the console market so Sony is using this as an excuse to justify the increase of their price tag.
Disabling likes and dislikes is stupid, it shows you are afraid.
