It's so good to see how this thing wears out. Thank you so much bro.

I have 49,000 miles on my majesty J.Costa variator. The factory belt just recently broke at 50,000 miles and this is the first time I have been in the variator since I installed it. My wear is similar to yours but I no longer have any dimples (indentations) on the tips of the weights. Everything is pretty loose in the variator and the bronze bushing in the middle is a bit loose too.Since it is an easy task to get into the belt area, I am going to throw it back together for now with a new belt but I think about 50,000 is about all the variator is good for. I will be looking for a replacement soon.

I own a 2005 Yamaha Majesty 400 with 6,000 miles on it. Sometimes it has a "clanking" sound coming from the rear wheel. Could this wear issue be the problem or something else? Thanks for the video!
