please give us your review of the variator in combination with the 2017 GTS. I have xactly the same bike and I'm thinkg about installing exactly the same variation, so I'm very interessted.... how does it feel compared to the original?
I'm taking it apart again in a few days (2019) to check and clean in there. I also want to check if a portion of the washer insert sticks out of the discs. I will grind them down so they're flush to the disc; allowing the discs to get much closer together and allow the belt to ride up higher at top speed. This should result in quicker acceleration at lower RPM and a higher top end.
Very different looking variator for sure. I'm interested in how it holds up and preforms. Thanks for the video!
Does removing the pulley between the two discs affect the motorcycle
I don't have footage of installing the nut on the clutch cover and torqueing it to 44 lbs/ft. Missed it. Apologies.

I strongly recommend this variator mod. I have tried most weight changes and this is the best mod IMHO.

The acceleration is not as drastic as with a standard weight change. It is much smoother but of course, you can feel the difference.

How does the 0-60 compare with the stock + Dr pulley
@@jpow3495, it'a just a fraction of a sec slower but so much smoother that it actually feels more powerful.
What oil temp gauge You have?
