Really amazing video . I never gave nair f smash combos a chance I thought they were so impractical but this video deff showed me the potential great video sky line !
Thanks! I just landed a couple of these online just now and I just got my marth into elite smash thanks to this! I was always struggling to kill because I had trouble landing tippers and this helped lot
Thanks so much for sharing, it's all really helpful info. Congrats on 100+ subs, too! Looking forward to future content, and here's to continued success!
Really cool! I finally got around to this and I knew Nair > FSmash was a thing. This'll be a lab focus for me. But I have a question: How much does Stutter-Stepping affect these? What will it do to the percent ranges to land these?
So you notice the stutter stepping more with tippers. As for the percent range, with all the methods that require sour spots you want to get closer as the percent goes up. For the tipper methods as the percent goes up you can either wait a bit then f smash or hold f smash for a little bit. If you do an immediate f smash after tipper nair at high percents it will whiff.
Thanks friend keep up the content appreciate your hard work and desire to improve the meta and player base by sharing your understanding and knowledge of the game with players who need it. Cheers mate :) P.S. especially appreciated the info drop for fullhop airdodge as that will come in handy for some MUs and player MUs for sure. I play marth but just out of curiosity is Lucina able to hit any of these or is it an instance of his sourspot being super useful despite people constantly insisting he's worse than lucina instead of just having a slightly higher skill floor regardless of whether or not they're aware of their differences in any significant way
Ok so lucina does have a tipper hitbox that sends up and the rest of the sword sends out. With this being said lucina really never need to land the tipper, she can land nair 1 as close to the opponent as possible in any of these methods and still land the f smash. The reason this is important with marth is because the different angles and distances are important for landing tipper as easiest as possible. So she technically can do this but there is no reason unless you want to be safe on shield and space the nair.
Ok this is gonna be a long response. 1. You can use method one like a tomahawk grab. Jump towards them and make them think you will.hit their shield but just land them do the short hop nair. 2. The retreating one is useful when you and your opponent are close to each other. You can jump away and if you know they will drop shield you can land that one. You can also use this one if your opponent is aggressively approaching you. 3. The approaching one is good for tech chases. This one is pretty hard to land because marth generally does not want to approach that often but its there nonetheless. 4. Cross-up is so good because if they shield it they cant grab you and is super safe. This one also is really easy to land. You can also mix up their DI and get and early kill. 5. Reverse nair is mostly for style points but is also an easy one to do. This one only works on big body character and after 105% it pretty much auto spaces the tipper for you. Hope this helps if you have other questions lmk
Great vid as always mane👍 the content has helped my Marth ALOT, one question, at the end of the video during the game play I saw f smash miss Ike when he was on the platform, you did it twice and it didn’t hit, this has happened to me too, what is the criteria for landing it?
Ok so you have to f smash right when ike bounces on the plaform or is just laying on it. When i f smash it was after ike bounced and his hurtbox was a little but off the platform. So if i had waited or done it earlier i would have gotten him. Hope this explains it, if not lmk and i can try to explain it a different way.
Oh never mind i just rewatched the gameplay. I needed to be right under him, i was to far away. That tipper hitbox on the platform is really hard to get and the timing is not forgiving at all. My bad about the confusion but the first comment is still true if he was in the same situation.

Its weird to land sometimes but once you get the hang of it, it is really good.
Thank you for pushing the Marth META!
Its my pleasure

Thank you so much
Woah woah, didn't you just now get 100 subs? Almost double now wow.
I know its crazy. I hit 100 subs before my 100 sub montage came out 😂. Thanks to you and X tbh
Excellent video!
Thank you. Means alot from a fellow marth main like you
Nice video! One question though, how would you condition your opponent so you can actually use these in a real match? Thanks

@@skyline1613 thank you very much!
Guys if it’s at like 150+ percent you can just do nair1 into dolphin slash and it doesnt matter if it’s tipper nair or not
Just good to know
True i should have mentioned that, or even f tilt

@skyline 16 thanks much
I wish this was easier to set up. Marth airspeed too slow
Cross up nair kills at 50 lol
