I just purchased their 5W laser engraver and it didn't come with any way to set the correct height of the laser head from the work piece or any test materials like cork, wood, metal like you showed. Also the instructions leave a lot to be desired. I have a Mac computer and wasn't aware that I had to purchase yet another product (program) for this engraver to work. I need LightBurn to use on my Mac and it's not cheap. I might be sending this back.
Hello, I was wondering if you could send me the measurements of the round laser height gauge. Mine is a flat piece of plexiglass so I’m confused which one is right ‘ better Thanks Chris
On the back of the instruction manual it says to put the tip down onto something they call a "Fixed Coke" the looks like a piece of 3mm plexiglass to focus it. I have no idea what that is but there is a little piece of plastic material in the kit that should work. It's nothing like he shows in the video but then his laser is different too.
@rafaelalarcon8299 hi connect to laser gbrl first that makes the connection, ensire to download the correct software for the connection I believe ch340 driver. Once this is established I use lightburn u need to setup as a manual setup using GBRl etc
hi on the paper work you would have recieved with it should have a materials list and settings, but there isnt really a one size fits all... however i do follow @TheLouisianaHobbyGuy hes got some ama\ing settings and files tou use
Good video. Have you cut any other metals .80 mm or thicker? I'm going to be fashioning some copper sheet that size. Also, I didn't get the spacer for the laser head in my box. Do you happen to know what that depth measures in mm?
I did and it isn't there. I also read you can use this laser for copper or other reflective metals if you use a spray coating first. Found it on ebay. Still waiting for a new computer being shipped to program and test this thing.
There doesn't seem to be any way to make the laser stay on to focus it. Clicking on the Blink icon in LaserGRBL will make it pop on for a second but clicking the Focus icon doesn't do anything!
Hello, I purchased the IWECOLOR laser 5W 400x400 high performance. I registered the laser on the website. I asked support and it's been 2 weeks no response I am hoping you will be able to help me? everything went together great, but my laser module isn't level to my work area the front is lower, and the back is higher? i tried what I thought was an adjustment nut on backside on lower roller behind module, than belt tension adjusting tightening? nothing looks bent or tweaked it just bothers me it's not flush with spacer or work area I am not sure if it will affect the performance? I am hoping you can help me. Thank you

Hey thanks for watching... did you check the small clear box for the spacer ??? If not I'll definitely measure for you as soon as I get to the office

If you connext too lightburn u can program it too do a 1% power outline
