Almost all of the canon hero names are historically inspired shout-outs.
For example, the Flagellant is named Damian after Saint Peter Damian, the Benedictine monk who introduced flagellation into catholic monastic practices.

I can't wait for more! I played when the Early Access first came out. It was fun, but I found the town mechanic more compelling in the first game. I wonder how much they have improved the game from when I last took a look at it.

I remember the Plague Doctor being an OP stress Healer, once her skill gets an upgrade the entire team get a -1 stress chance
which made it so you would always have a PD in your team

Loved darkest dungeon! Even if I sometimes scream at the screen while watching I love your channel. If you could name a Man-at-arms "Reiner" I'd love it, that was the name of my last DnD character, who was a disgraced midlife crisis former city guard, it kind of fits the setting I feel XD. I'll catch up once I overtake you since I want to do a blind playthrough :P
