Just want to take a second to say thank you for all the kind words and positive energy! This is my first TH-cam video and I am blown away by the response. Feeling encouraged and inspired thanks to all of you! Big shout out to everyone subscribing as well! So dang grateful! More to come! 🧡
I’m gobsmacked this is your first video. Your editing and presentation skills are top notch. And one thing that isn’t a skill, but rather more of a talent, is voice and energy. You do very well in those areas as well. I look forward to watching your channel grow. And it will.
I gotta give you props. This video is GREAT. If someone was to ever make a course on how to make a good video game tutorial video, this could be used as a case study.
This is the best beginner guide on youtube. I never played the first game but figured I'd give this one a shot, and I was just overwhelmed with all the menus and mechanics. This helped a lot.
A very solid introduction to the basic mechanics. Helps people like me that haven't played for a few patches, as many aspects of the game are VERY different from what they were at the start of the year. You might follow up with a Maps & Zones Guide, looking at the roads, driving through them, and (generally) the types of threats one faces in different regions. You could also, at the end so as not to spoil things for those who don't want it, provide general hints about facing regional lair bosses (e.g., "If you don't have good back line damage, maybe skip "X"). Promising start to the series~
Amazing, very detailed introductory / beginner's guide! And while I think your introductory video guide is great, with very well broken down basics, I have some suggestions you might wanna consider in the future, if you agree with them (note that I am no contenct creator myself). 1. The video seems comparably quiet to me. You might wanna consider upping the volume in the future. 2. You might wanna note in the video that reaching the Crossroads or the Altar of Hope requires you to drive your stagecoach forward for a little bit after starting your first run. I know this is not avoidable and people not playing this game for the very first time know this. But for a shy first timer, they might assume they gotta somehow access the stagecoach / the altar before they actually start driving and don't wanna miss them so they won't start driving if they don't find them. These are just some minor while i consider the video as a whole incredibly helpful for new players. Well done!
Wow! Just looked at your sub count and am surprised. Super professional job at explaining this game to a newer and even experienced player. Lots of views and excellent but I subbed right away / no-brainer. I guess you're new to this account (?) but sounds like you're a seasoned pro. Thanks for sharing. /cheers
Perfect guide for someone just starting out, which is me right now! Thank you for explaining all of the things that might seem obvious to veterans but completely mind boggling to a new player. Now I can make more informed game decisions instead of just pressing buttons until I figure it out, which works on plenty of games but not so well on this one xD
Thanks for the video! Very helpful and informative❤Could you please make a new video about top strategical advices of how to spend candles properly in order to progress faster and make the game slightly easier?😊It would be really nice
Very well narrated! Very good! Probably the 3rd or 4th vid on DD2 in a couple days and your style is hugely informative. I played original DD before / without any DLC at 125 hours. Had no idea until Monday that this follow up one was in the works and now at a solid release, I caught it at the right time....again. Haven't purchased yet but your show may make me buy at full price and I usually never do this. Last time I bought a game at full price? 🤔 Original DD. lol 😉
Damn, ty for the vid. Heres my experiance & several questions I have if u can help. Starting roster was great, beat 1st boss right away (slight mistake entering a cosmic battle & dyin LOL) with just that one awkard death then had an straighforward run through mini-boss (sleeping giant-which if i had known how to face it I wouldve made it through to Lung final boss with everyone) but then ofc i had only half a squad now half full of random heros/guys I unlocked in the inn that didnt fit with the comp (i never used but want to buy for some reason lol) & all died. That mustve been a fluke good run/start cuz then i hit a wall, again n again. This was due to me realizing a few things. The comp for the lung needs to be pretty specific right? so I threw together something that sounded good on paper vesel-cultist-highwayman-helion (highwayman is my only fully unlocked guy other than graverobber & helion r halfway after those 12h)??? looked/felt decently good... but then i reached the very end & got destroyed by sleeping giant boss, so I dont even know if the comp woulve worked v.s lungs, especially since there is no DOTs at all! .....so that being said, wat is the best comp for that boss AND with that comp, wat miniboss is the easiest for them too (& is it worth it to wait until the end to fight em?) n i am askin in terms of fully unlocked guys ofc!! on that note, is it fine to use THAT best comp(s) as a way to grind their unlockables out (hero shrines n loadouts) while also tryna beat that Lung boss OR is it best to grind with a different comp? ...two more random questions then im done i swear.... (1) trinkets that say "increase healing given by x%" , does that refer to the heals that that character GIVES OUT to everyone or something else? the wording is weird haha (2) I heard someone mention in a vid that "alchemist" plague doctor has LESS HEALTH if he is NOT in 4th position. I did not know this as i thought it was a constant debuff?! how do "paths" work/interact with their positions I have no idea!?
I played the original game to the bone, hundreds upon hundreds of hours. Finished it when it came out. Absolutely loved it. This one.. absolutely hate it 😢. But at least i enjoy your videos for it nonetheless. Subscribed, good luck with your channel
Just died to the act 2 boss with a really powerful team, any tips to defeat him? He kept getting block+ and I was unluckily shuffled into positions I couldn’t defend from a deep breath. Party from rank 4 was plague doctor, jester, highwayman, hellion.
Great video, I just bought this game. I've been waiting for it to come to steam. I think it would be beneficial for boobies if you did an informative run where you explain your thought process during fights and the overall journey.

By far the best guide i've seen! Well done. Subbed, liked and commented for the algorithm boss

Great idea! I do something similar in my video on 'The Dreaming General' and hope to do more similar videos in the future!
This video is criminally under viewed. Great guide!
Thanks so much! That good energy is super motivating ✨️
Just got the game, and this guide really helps a lot! No really this was great to watch! Thank you so much!

Thank you! And thanks for the feedback about the sound! Will kick future videos up a bit!
Wow, you only have 185 subscribers?? I figured you’d have a lot more than that. Excellently produced content. Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for making this. God knows I need it!
Thanks so much, dude! We all need a helping hand on the old road =)
This was the best intro vid for this or DD1. Subscribed
This was just the beginner guide i've been looking for, thanks!
Top notch work on this. Great style and presentation
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks and good hunting in the dungeon!

Where can I buy bandages? Do I need to unlock them first? If yes, can I buy them after I have unlocked them?❤
Cool, your guides. (sorry not native speaker - german) - I hope you will create some more, because DD2 is really not easy!
More to come for sure! =)
Well done guide! Can't wait to get my butt handed to me! 😁
Even after making this, I know I will too 😅

It sucks that they only let you save 15 character loadouts. I keep coming across new nicknamed teams, and I can't save them for quick reference.
good guide , but why spoil the boss without warning for spoilers ?

I don’t understand the trinket systems. I unlocked a few trinkets but can’t seem to equip them at the beginning of a run.
I like to give my characters funny names like poopturd and dumpsmear

is it worth to buy this game? never played the first one so if anyone can help i appreciate it thx in advance :)
I am truly enjoying the game thus far. You 100% don't need to have played the first one to play this one!
I also nvr played the first one, bought this one & am now hooked! Cant wait to play it when I get home from work.
My homey Reynauld is nowhere in sight. *sad deus vult noises.*
Probably out stealing from his friends 😅
"Promosm"
Timeless Wood.... the answer we were looking for was Timeless Wood not void ooooh sorry let's see what he could have won.
....first?
Second!
THIRD!!!
