Disagree quite strongly with the Askren - DJ trade, whilst ben didn’t have a good ufc return in terms of fights, he genuinely created interest, which then blew up Masvidal to mainstream stardom and more eyes on the company, which has now then led to Usman being actually somewhat liked for his fights, which is huge for someone as clearly dominant like he is that he can now draw eyes on fights too

It was the AFL. After the AFL merged into to the NFL, the NFL became two conferences, the AFC, formally the AFL, and the NFC, formally the original NFL teams.
The Askern DJ trade could be seen as very good business if you look at it another way. It made Jorge Masvidal a mega star. Brought new stars to flyweight & made a lot of numbers from those later PPV's. So I mean not bad.
10:45 I dunno, that Anderson Aldo vs Giblert Melendez trilogy I imagined during a 40+ Celsius fever dream was definitely worthy of them getting sporting apparel.
Gonna have to disagree on the Askren deal. While they lost DJ and Askren faceplanted, what the UFC got was a star in Jorge Masvidal. Despite his recent KO loss, Jorge is still a huge fan favorite and most likely made more money for the UFC than DJ and Askren probably ever could. That and his loss to Usman brought more awareness to how great of a champ Usman is and probably gave him more star power as well.
I have some feedback. I mean this in the most constructive and civil way that I can. Audio post production of the voice recording needs some work. The voice audio volume balance is very loud, and it's picking up mouth clicks and pops to a distracting degree. The voice works sounds so overproduced its sounds unnatural.
I remember i started watching ufc just a few years before the first fox event and when it was finally announced I was hyped.i still think that fast ko effected the ratings to this day
GSP had a really good reason to relinquish his title at 85 as his health problems were out of his control and that should have been taken into consideration when looking at whether he had "Broken his word." Now we are never going to get the super fight that both fighters, and the fans, deserved.
Such a stupid thing why did they risk it with bisping, I don’t get why gsp wanted khabib, khabib stated he want it to fight gsp since he won the belt. It’s really sad
One of your previous videos noted that the DJ trade was partly his own desire to go elsewhere. He turned down an offer for the rematch if I recall correctly, so I guess them not bending over backwards to keep him could be their mistake? But to be fair if the guy hadn't been pulling big numbers during that whole run it's hard to imagine why he would suddenly start doing so. Admittedly Askren probably didn't turn out the way they hoped either but what were their options? And with the last point I think the integrity of the competition is preserved by having new entrants establish themselves. It's fair for guys already on the roster, and fair for the new guys to have a crack at what the UFC is all about before being thrown into Championship rounds. I'm fine with champions from other promotions going straight into top ten or even top five fights. But giving them a shot at the title straight away is a bit of a kick in the teeth for everyone else in the division who has been working hard for the opportunity. This isn't boxing where you just try to get the biggest more marketable names on the same card together. The UFC is about the best vs the best and getting stopped by journeymen fighters doesn't exactly bode well.

Homeboy in the speedo is seriously on every one of their list videos.
Would’ve loved to have seen Ben in the UFC way earlier
Fox debut was not just the one fight, we seen the entire card here !
Ufc 33, first card on ppv in years, having 5 championship fights, everyone going to decision and going over the PPV time limit
Yo
The Askern DJ trade could be seen as very good business if you look at it another way. It made Jorge Masvidal a mega star. Brought new stars to flyweight & made a lot of numbers from those later PPV's. So I mean not bad.
Fedor looks like a guy who got there by accident after getting drunk and taking a bet, yet still beating the shit out of everyone.
10 most hardass TUF coaches
damn that footage of old boy brought back memories
Love a good family film.
Top ten houses sold by al iaquinta
Top ten unintentinaly hilarious fighters!
They already did that list
Yo
10:45 I dunno, that Anderson Aldo vs Giblert Melendez trilogy I imagined during a 40+ Celsius fever dream was definitely worthy of them getting sporting apparel.
Shoutout to the editor for using the greatest movie of all time at 15:00
Fuckin' "Giblert" get's me every time. 😂
7:08 what a nice picture!!
GSP with hair is a cursed image.
Vince McMahon approves of this video.
lol at the Old Boy ref
But Ben askren = Jorge Masvidal rise, so worth it
Ben "what's wrong with his head" Askrin.
Masvidal-Mcgregor not happening after the Diaz fight is a tragedy imo. That and the universe saying no to Khabib-Prime Tony
the clips used in this video are just bizzare

*0:08* the gang does something fucking illegal...
I remember i started watching ufc just a few years before the first fox event and when it was finally announced I was hyped.i still think that fast ko effected the ratings to this day
5:50 and they're not even #1...no.2 and no.3 😂😂😂😂
GSP had a really good reason to relinquish his title at 85 as his health problems were out of his control and that should have been taken into consideration when looking at whether he had "Broken his word." Now we are never going to get the super fight that both fighters, and the fans, deserved.
fucking dana bro
He did the right thing for the division as well as the belt was being held hostage by Bisping for over a year.
They thought GSP would beat Khabib then leave, terrible decision to have the Poirier fight instead🤦🏽♂️
Yo
Fedor Emelianenko fought higher competition outside of the UFC when the UFC didn't have all the top fighters in the world. And he destroyed them all.
@@ClanBez oh hell yeah, probably by submission like he did to hong man Choi. And Fedor would still beat him even with how old he is
