@@JJ-pq5pl Nope. That's only really the case when the person who lost was young in the first one, like when Cruz lost to Faber or when GSP lost to Hughes, or even when Ngannou lost to Miocic. Or, like in the case of GSP and Serra or Uriah Hall and Gegard Mousasi, if the first fight was flukey.
Meanwhile Khabib and Conor were both the same age (Khabib is actually younger than Conor, shockingly enough) and ostensibly both in their primes. Conor didn't have Khabib in any real danger for four rounds, and the fight only lasted that long because Khabib wanted to make a point. I mean, Dustin just took Conor down, FFS. Unless Conor knocks Khabib out within 15 seconds, it'll always be the same outcome.

There was no rivalry with Masvidal, there was just a guy who was able to hype his mediocre record into two title shots back to back somehow..
Its cuz he had an awesome year before that🤷🏽♂️ It’s crazy if you DON’T understand where he gained that hype. Masvidal dropped Till who was suppose to go on a run for the belt. Then gets the ufc record for fastest ko on Ben Askren who was undefeated in a different league. And then also puts on a very nice striking performance against Nate Diaz. Those are three very big events that all happened in 2019. One fricken year, he pulled all that off. Obviously it’s easy to look back on it and say he didn’t deserve to be there after he got dropped in the Usman rematch, but his hype was definitely earned. Especially since Usman had already beaten Woodley, Covington, and Burns. Besides the Covington rematch that Usman doesn’t want yet, what fight is gonna draw in more ppv? Leon vs Usman aint gettin SHIT. Wonderboy vs Usman wouldn’t get any buys either. Anyone else and you’re pulling outside the top 5..

35-15 sure isn't that great compared to someone like Khabib who retired undefeated, but your mans has 50 professional fights and will show up to throw hands just on that fact alone. Masvidal isn't the highest caliber fighter in the UFC, but you gotta respect just walking in the cage.

Man I love this channel so much. I can easily say that this channel has intensified my love for the sport and my knowledge on the sport, so much so I’m always the person to get asked about anything MMA related in my friendship spaces. Anyway the point I’m making is I’ve been here for a long time and when I hear “I’m Tommy From MMA On Point” I am almost compelled to finish the whole video. His narration and enthusiasm get me so invested and excited. I know you guys are trying something new with Baylon (sp) and I truly do not mean to offend, but his videos are so boring and I must be honest, every video he narrates, I never finish. All respect to the guy, he’s very knowledgeable, eloquent and handsome to be fair, but I think the voice over slot is for Tommy. He is literally the best on all of TH-cam.

Still would’ve loved to see a trilogy fight between Lesnar and Mir at their prime. Especially once Mir added more muscle to his physique. He was so strong that he snapped Big nogs arm with a Kimura. Could’ve been the ultimate fight between Wrestler vs BJJ specialist.
I love Mir. And Lesnar most definitely has an * due to blatant PED use. But he doesn't get enough credit for what a beast he was I personally think.
Mir wouldn't have won, and if Lesnar had been doing MMA as long as Mir, even less of a chance.
Mir benefited from being ahead of the game when the game was still behind.
But...who knows if Lesnar would have been as good without PEDs. Looking at things as they are with minimal what ifs, the comment stands
@@davidcolley4756 Keep in mind that Mir revamped his striking as well and had a couple of KO wins like Cro Cop, Big foot and Duffee. He was a more skilled fighter after that loss to Lesnar. The third fight would’ve been competitive.

Mir barely survived the first fight after years of professional fighting vs Brocks God knows how long, then demolished the second.
I hate that he was a professional wrestler and his boxing skills and all where not impressive.
But he was so athletic that Mir stood no chance. Agree to disagree, but I think the tape speaks for itself.

Well usada went back and tested samples from previous fights and he tested negative....
TJ only popped after the Cejudo fight and Barao was using testosterone replacement therapy until it was banned in 2014. So not sure what you're on about but it sounds like bullcrap
@@carphucker2973 EPO has low as fuck test sensitivity and clears your system in under 2 days, meaning it's hella easy to pass a drug test even when on it. You also don't just start taking EPO, it is very much a long term performance enhancer that athletes take for months if not years.
Dillashaw's entire career is suspect following both the drug test reveal, and various stories from other fighters about how nonchalant team Alpha Male was for years about PED use.
