These guys are good. They're pretty funny, especially Adam, and I like them. Do I like them more than Clarkson, Hamster and Slow? No. But they are pretty awesome. Top Gear USA is A-Ok by me.
TG USA needs more famous gearhead celebs like Tom Cruise, Jerry Scienfield, Cameron Diaz, Jay Leno

There's so many haters because they are stupid. They try to tear up the vehicles. At least the UK top gear don't try to mess the vehicle up on purpose.
I'd say that it suffers from the same issue as some of the new top gear (the latest series isn't that bad to be fair) in that they try too hard to be like old top gear

I'm glad the first guy was out most of the episode. I think he's what bring TopGearUSA down. But this is by far the best TopGearUSA episode I have seen to date.

My daddy has had me I the garage with him since I could walk and I'm almost 12 now! We wheel every chance we get and mom is as much a part as I am! Watching these guys push these truck past there limits. When I was 8 my family treked from Tennessee to Moab than on to DV to do this trail in our then 1997 xj that we built. We pulled the custom built camp wagon and never had any problems like this. Dad always says that idiots like these guys expose all the weaknesses, in order to help us build better trucks!

I love how Jeep drivers are always so excited that their Jeep is still running and driving as if it's some kind of achievement. Is that how bad Jeeps have become? So bad that the drivers are thrilled that the engines are even running right in the first place?

That old Dodge Power Wagon belonged to Bobby Beusoleil of the Manson Family. When the cops raided Spahn Ranch, Tex Watson stole the truck and abandoned it in Ballarat. Beusoleil still thinks one day when he gets out of prison (likely never), he's going to go get his truck back.

I actually built that blue trailer pulled by the Jeep around 2010. I sold it and Top Gear bought it from the guy who bought it from me. After the show Top Gear sold it again and the new owner contacted me. It was quite interesting. They totally in showmanship fashion tried to bust it up by leaving the doors open, dragging the table in the down position (its later seen tied to the roof) and all kinds of stuff. The doors and tables had locks for off road use etc. etc. etc. Ha but it made it to the end. Anyone curios about it can contact me.

ford probably is the strongest rear end the axleshafts only have a small c-clip holding it into the diff which is the only weakpoint of the axle
The problem is Adam thinks that you have to floor everything all the time. Someone with the slightest of skill could've got that rig up there with no issues...
The ford broke because the jackass didn't know how to drive ..I love how he said nothing can stop his jeep..nothing except for a can of food

I'm not a casting director, but I'd imagine Tanner is a host on the show for contrast between the three, after all, a professional driver is about as opposite as it gets when you look at Adam. I don't know why so many people hate him, he's probably my favorite of the three hosts, although the my favorite moment in the USA Top Gear is when Adam gave wings to a brand new Ford Mustang GT. *Spoiler alert* The wings didn't work.
Another episode where they abuse, break shit, then leave it behind. Another example why they got canceled.

Guys, the american top gear is really not that bad. they took some good key elements from the original top gear, and put it into the american one, like the crazy challenges, that always made the original top gear good.

To be quite fair, these guys just need a bit of time to have a quality show. The BBC Top Gear also didn't start out marvelous, and these guys have appeal in America, at least for the people who haven't seen the British version and compare the two constantly.
They learned the 1st rule of off-roading the hard way: never, no matter how amazing an idea it may seem at the time, put your dinner in your engine. Never feed your engine people food- it can become very ill and even die.
This show wasn't really that bad at all, you just can't compare it to the original though.

Because compared to Top Gear UK, this might as well be Sesame Street. We live in a globally connected society, and I think 99.9999% of us here would be perfectly happy if the BBC simply broadcasted TG:UK simultaneously around the world instead of diluting the TG name.
They are all Top Gear UK fans. They are all here for it. They don't like Top Gear USA. No matter how good the USA version is, they can't accept it. UK people, learn from Mrs. Thatcher , make friends with the US people.
The UK version of top gear will forever be the best but it doesn't hurt to have an open mind about the US one. I enjoy watching but, even though I will be more entertained by the UK one, I will still watch the US because it's just as good.. Sometimes.
