In awe of how you upload so frequently on here and still the videos never get repetitive! So grateful for all of your hard work and giving us so much great content 💚💚
I must say your plants look incredibly healthy and lush considering the huge collection you have, I am impressed! Majority of Plant TH-camrs' plants look like they are struggling and the plant parents look extremely overwhelmed by their large collections. You and your plant look thriving! Already purchase two hoyas thanks to you.
me too! i've been into plants for about 4 years now and was never that impressed of hoyas. but she shows so many hoya all the time and i just fell in love so i had to buy one a few days ago. and i can't wait to get even more!! but they're kinda difficult to find in my area
I'm only 10 seconds into the first plant and I already am floored 😂 I had no idea Ludisia Discolor leaves got that big ! I always thought they stayed small. Been on my wishlist FOREVER - I think it's time!!
Thank you for including so many genus of plants, I love your pingdom and I hope someday you can do a care-guide on them. Adding more begonia onto my wishlist because they are so gorgeous!!
I purchased a begonia maculate early Spring this year in 4" pot. Repotted & has been outside under my back deck in early morning filtered light all season so far here in TX. More than tripled in size height-wise..
I just started to laugh so loud because I threw my Ludisia in the bin two weeks ago but I love it so much!! I dont know what Im doing wrong 😅 I love these videos and its so interesting how your favourite plants change 😊
My Maculata has a sign in her that says "Favorite Child". Itll always be a major favorite. I just remember not being really house planty of a person (but always into plants and outdoor gardening) and seeing that at walmart and nearly fainting cuz its just so damn amazing. Lol. I didnt buy it either. Wtf. But I definitely have multiple now. Haha
I'm so excited you just posted!! I'm finally getting around to plant chores which I've neglected since giving birth- your videos always help me get going and are so relaxing 😊 thank you for all you do!! 🎉
.. Your Syngonium Frosted Heart usually comes out with "frosted" (can sometimes seem almost be white) leaves that slowly turns darker as they mature.. I've got mine in a west facing window and she really likes it there.. .. So that's how my Begonia Maculata will look like when she grows up 😳 Wow ☺️ I just got her and she already decided to bloom, so I'm a bit careful with her at the moment.. She too lives in a west facing window.. .. Your Begonia Malachosticta got some very beautiful leaves for sure.. It's going for winter now, and that can be in your favour.. I took mine and cut her long leggy stems off in half, put them in a tall glass with water and a wee little bit of nutrition and left them in my spare room during winter.. In February I moved my mother plant into my living room (west facing) in front of the garden door.. My porch is shaded by upstairs balcony, but she loves it so much that she got her natural colors back (she was a little pale before), leaves grew bigger and she started to grow out new shoots from the soil and bloomed.. Now she's as tall as me (162 cm).. The cuttings I potted up together and they are growing like nothing else, still living in my spare room looking beautiful.. Surely they are supported with sticks like my mother plant.. But then I've never had any of my plants in cabinet, but living in my house doing what they need to do naturally 🤗 only my cuttings live in my spare room in boxes and mini green houses.. Or in my kitchen, depending of what they need..
This is funny, as you were sharing your favourites I was mulling over who were my favorites and concluded that my Melanobulata is in my top spot right now and then you talk about yours at the end. She is quite stunning, even though mine is still a baby and has put up her full on spiky-hairy leaf this week. The other ones were still more spotty, than spikey. I'd have to say Begonia are in my top all together, with the White Suede being another fave. It is a Russian hybrid, so don't know if it exists in Canada though. But it is stunning.
Since I watched your pingdom video I was hyped to do one myself! I couldn't find pumice at first but then I got some over a local version of Facebook Marketplace. Last weekend I got two pinguiculas und this weekend another oner or two may follow up so that I can plant them together :)
My begonia maculata was one of the first plants I bought at the beginning of 2023. Ive had it in a couple of different lications in my house, both ambient lighting. About 6 months ago I put her on a moss pole which she seems to have adapted to very well!! Enjoy all your videos. Absolutely l8ve the last "creepy" begon8a you showed. I have several "halloween" pumpkin and jack-o'-lantern pots. Maybe I should look for that begonia!!😂🎃🐈⬛🦇🐲🧙
I have a question about your experience with holiday cactus, is yours very confused and blooms for literally every holiday even Labor Day?? Would love to know❤❤❤
I had one that was the Thanksgiving variety and it would bloom multiple times a year, whenever it felt like it! Didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.
Do you still have your begonia grey feather? I thought it was so stunning, so bought one for myself. I love mine. She grows like a weed. She got a major hair cut this summer. I’m gonna gift the rooted cuttings to my sister. The cuttings are now as big as my plant. It’s crazyyyyyyyy! I’d like to collect a few begonias but would prefer most to be tolerate of typical house humidity. Any suggestions? Maybe one day you could do a video about begonias?
I had a frosted heart syngonium that lost its frost also. It was in an East and South window and grew well for about a year then it stalled and rotted. It was on a moss pole. I haven't ever seen a large one. Maybe the leaves loss their frost as they mature: and don't get large?
Could you or have you done a Jessenia care video? I can’t seem to get mine figured out and I typically don’t have a problem with epipremnums. Mine doesn’t have much variegation even on new leaves. Does that mean she needs more light? Someone please help me out. I’d love for her to be gorgeous like my other epipremnums.
My frosted heart was never frosted so i thought maybe it wasn't actually a frosted heart syngonium as i ordered it online. I just googled it and a video from "only plants" came up where he said he's finding that his seems to be losing its frost as it matures. He seemed confused by it too. So it seems that might be the case.
So many gorgeous plants! I share a few faves with you this month. Anyone know, though, the name of the plant in the background with the long narrow leaves? I’ve looked and seen a couple like it but been ogling that one in these videos for months! 😂
My frosted heart had all frosting, and the leaves got bigger in less light. Weird. Also, I only had it on a stake. Note the past tense. It died this summer. I didn't keep up with watering and temps in my plant room were insane.
@@wildfern oh okay! You have a great window. I have one in a terrarium but she is getting too tall. I have to find a spot that she can thrive in. Thank you for that information!!
Hi how are you 😊 you are glowing! Your skin looks amazing like when women are pregnant ❤ are you? Sorry for asking 😊 you look very good 👍🦋 thank you for your videos 🦋
In awe of how you upload so frequently on here and still the videos never get repetitive! So grateful for all of your hard work and giving us so much great content 💚💚
oh I appreciate this so much 🥺🫶 kind comments like this are what keep me motivated, so thank you!
I’ve watched Fern so much and for so long now my husband recognizes her voice 😂❤

Thank you so much! I try my best over here haha 🌱
I just bought a Hoya because of this channel and now I need a begonia 🙃
me too! i've been into plants for about 4 years now and was never that impressed of hoyas. but she shows so many hoya all the time and i just fell in love so i had to buy one a few days ago. and i can't wait to get even more!! but they're kinda difficult to find in my area
I want a hoya but it grows slow so I'll admire other people's hoyas and I'm a huge begonia plant mom
@@filomenagabriel7954 There‘s actually some Hoyas that don‘t grow like super slow… but yeah in comparison to begonia, hoyas have no chance i guess😂💪🏼
If they get plenty of light, they can pick up the growth.
Me too.
I think we need a begonia collection video now ✨
She posted one 11 months ago
I'm only 10 seconds into the first plant and I already am floored 😂

yes!! you need one, they are gorgeous!!
The dark plants are so pretty! I just love that chunky Hoya too ✨🌿🌞🌕

I want them all , especially the begonias. Theyre all gorgeous 😍
This really is the best you’ve grown your Verrucosum! Stunning!
For your extra long philo glorious petioles I’d recommend paper clips or Xmas decoration hanging clips to keep the leaves closer to the pole 🙂
Great idea!
I'm 😊obsessed with you and your videos. Love em!!
Thank you so much 😊🌱
Your “pingdom” just gets better and better looking
Love your videos! Are you thinking of doing a "spooky plant" wishlist video or, spooky plants to admire video?
A Baltic blue Pothos climbing is so perfect!!! Mines is getting so big.
Yo that dark begonia is GORGEOUS
The jessenia ❤I am obsessed, it is so beautiful! I have a lot of the pothos but the jessenia is still on my wish list 💚🌿
Thanks for the orchid and ping update! I just got the orchid in and pings are coming this week.
My day is instantly a million times better when I see that you posted a new video ❤
All your plants were my favorites too. 💚 You have the best Begonias. Love all your videos. 💚💚🪴🌿
Thank you for one more fun and energetic video! I have several pothos on moss poles and they are beautiful!
That melonobulatta, wow! I must have it!
I just started to laugh so loud because I threw my Ludisia in the bin two weeks ago but I love it so much!! I dont know what Im doing wrong 😅 I love these videos and its so interesting how your favourite plants change 😊
aww hahah yes plants are fun that way, they're always changing and so are my opinions on them lol!
Do you actively "style" your begonias? By cutting (where & when?) or staking? They look great! If you can, get a begonia snow capped var. please 🥺
Thanks for sharing, I so love your channel ❤️.

I am ✨obsessed✨ with your Anthurium 🤩
You and me both 🥹
Fern I had a dream that I met you and we had a planty cozy hangout 😢😢😢 and as always I love your videos you're amazing

Hell yeah! New planty video 😍😍😍😍
woo wooo :) thanks for watching!
Wow wee your begonias are looking beautiful!
Thanks fern I always enjoy your videos love that chunky Hoya.🎉🎉
I traded my ludisia away and now after seeing I want it again 😅. I loved all your favorites 😍

Love all the plants but that Luduis discolor is beautiful
Good morning Fern. First thing in the morning and I found you when I open TH-cam. I can’t wait to see this.
awe perfect timing Lisa! thank you :)
I absolutely love carnivorous plants. I have to get a few more this year. I've been wanting the sundews ❤
Wow. Makes me want to repurchase a jewel orchid. 🖤
We need a bujo vlog 🙊

Fern I got good news I ordered a Fannie moser and a begonia Vernona I’m very excited

I am from Brazil❤❤❤
Hi Fern! Are you planning on doing an update on the begonia greenhouse terrarium? 😊
Fern try your orchid in a bowl. See sober plant guys video on it
I'm growing my begonia benigo (sp?) pink outside of a terrarium, and it's doing well!
so stunning ❤
Can you do a video on how to care for begonias please.
I’ve never seen a ludisia that big before. I’ve only ever seen them as tiny little plants.
yes!! they're so pretty at this size :)
My monsterra always has root rot and my begonia maculata always has 4 leaves only... Hoping for them to grow as lush as yours!!
Love you your videos
I freakin love your videos so much idk what to even say anymore lol
I have a question about your experience with holiday cactus, is yours very confused and blooms for literally every holiday even Labor Day?? Would love to know❤❤❤
I had one that was the Thanksgiving variety and it would bloom multiple times a year, whenever it felt like it! Didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.
Haha, just propagated my Monstera Albo because it was getting to big for its space. LOVE M Albo!
I keep my frosted heart in a northeast window, and it is keeping its size and frostiness. I'm not sure if it's the specimen or the window.
I've been wanting the polkadot plant forever!! If your ever up for a propagation swap let me know 😁 Maybe I have something on your wishlist 😊
Not me literally passing on a jewel orchid a few hours ago and now regretting it 😭
What do you do on your hair for it to grow thes past years or do u just leave it alone and let it grow on its own
You’re getting me back into begonia!!! Especially for fall 🫶🤭 really hoping I can find a maculata in person soon!

Give your Frosted Heart less light and it will have more silver.
Olive!!!!!!❤ Is okay giirrrl! ❤💅

21:32 😱 not your lux x mag x crystal?!?! I like both pretty evenly though.
Hey Fern, what is the name of the trellis that your Fanny Moser is on? I have stacking little ones that are similar, but I really like that one.
She talked about the trellis in her recent repot!
@@leannschaffnit7376I watched it but must have missed the trellis while I was watering.
Hi Fern
Does your Ludisia jewel orchid live on a shelf? Is she under a grow light?
Hey! No, she gets low-medium natural light. She lives on the Kallax shelf several feet from the window :)
@@wildfern oh okay! You have a great window. I have one in a terrarium but she is getting too tall. I have to find a spot that she can thrive in. Thank you for that information!!
The urge to try cane begonia is getting out of hand.
The melanobullata would look cute in a bowser pot 😂
The last begonia, looks like a road map of the brain. Lol 😂
💚🌱
❤❤❤❤❤
BUT WHERE DID YOU GET THAT SHIRT
It might be a Tropics Narcotics shirt.. she wears a lot of their stuff 🫰🏽💚
🧡🧡🧡
❤❤❤
Is it my imagination but your frosted heart looks like the leaves are getting smaller?
🪴💚
Yes ❤💪🔥🤘💚😎🙏😃💯🌿👻🕷🕵♀️
My pinguiculas die on me I don't know what I am doing wrong 😭😭😭
