B&R PLC CP1301 Fault Diagnosis via SDM using browser

For all those asking about a PLC with a fault and how to get it out of that situation, the cause could be a number of things. Modules configured and still set to supervised which are not physically connected, or having a number saved in permanent memory as a variable which causes an out of bounds error on an array are the two most usual ones. To see what is causing the problem, go to the logger in SDM or online to the PLC and look at the errors with the red flag on them. To reset a system to factory settings, erasing all the memory and program, press and hold the reset key for more than 20 seconds and release before 30 seconds have elapsed. Aim for 25 seconds. You should then have a CPU in BOOT mode with an IP address of
