Just a brief video to show how to disconnect the PLC assembly from the DIN rail, and how to replace a module mounted to the side X2X connection. In addtion, the video shows the connection of the bus module to the PLC and how to remove and reseat this component.

This video shows the type of contactor that is causing the problem and identifies why it is happening. It may seem that adjusting the ferrules on these contacts or attaching spade terminals provides the answer, but the action of attaching these is probably performing the equivalent of moving the contact block on top of the main assembly.

Please help me backup HMI 4PPC70
For all those asking about a PLC with a fault and how to get it out of that situation, the cause could be a number of things. Modules configured and still set to supervised which are not physically connected, or having a number saved in permanent memory as a variable which causes an out of bounds error on an array are the two most usual ones. To see what is causing the problem, go to the logger in SDM or online to the PLC and look at the errors with the red flag on them. To reset a system to factory settings, erasing all the memory and program, press and hold the reset key for more than 20 seconds and release before 30 seconds have elapsed. Aim for 25 seconds. You should then have a CPU in BOOT mode with an IP address of 0.0.0.0
