hey iam not sure if you see this comment but i have a question how to connect the pc to the x20bc0083 ? bus controller and dose it work like a cpu ? cause i have a system that dose not have a cpu and it works only with the x20bc083 and i want to modify something
if the all the power source connected to the bus controller bc 8084 and io cards fails ,what will happen to bus controller when powering up again .do i need to upload the programme again to communicate to this bus.

Bus controller can be communicated with a CPU via ethernet. You can find all about it on b&r website if you just search x20bc0083
