Installing Livescope

- After a long time debating whether or not to install Livescope on my boat, I went ahead and installed it. It was not the easiest install and at times very frustrating but it’s done and I feel good about it and excited to get out on the water and learn the system.

Getting ready to install and looking for ideas. Love the battery box. That's what I call thinking outside the box.

What did you use on the motor area to keep the cable centered? Is it glued or screwed? Great idea best I've seen on YT.
@timnationx7482 I used a U shaped bracket made of hard plastic and ran a bolt through. I wrapped the bolt with electrical tape to protect the sleeve that’s over the transducer cable and glued the bracket in place. This has worked out incredibly well.
Any issues using spot lock and this rigging?

How did you get the end connector for the transducer cable through the 1/2” braided cable sleeve?
@janicerice1632 The cable sleeve has a slit in it. When the sleeve is opened up and the cable is run inside, the sleeve then rolls tightly up on itself. This allowed me to put the sleeve on after the cables were run from the bow to the storage compartment. Hope this answered your question.
How did you get the cables out of the storage compartment with out the wires being exposed on the deck?

I ran a flexible rod from the storage compartment to the bow which allowed me to tape the cables to the rod and then pull them through under the deck into the storage compartment. I hope that answers your question. Let me know if you have any more questions. I’m always happy to help.
How long does that battery run it any issues
@Hunterpenuts No issues as of yet and I’m getting a full day out on the water with it right now.
