    Thank you sir, I now understand more about my record trigger. The trigger on my HW50S IS the best ‘out of the box’ trigger I’ve ever owned (I’m poor) so haven’t touched it. yet

    Thanks for the tutorial Neil, it really helped, especially putting it back together.
    I've just bought a new HW80 and the sears are slightly different but video is still relevant. 😊

    Great informative video , iv used your videos to tune a few triggers on newer guns , older triggers seem to polish themselves with prolonged use .. thanks proffessional advice

    Thanks for the tutorial, my HW97 uses a T8 torx rather than the T9. Very helpful information.

    I have done a video on how to polish the contact surfaces - look for rekord trigger disassembly and polish.

    Great video thanks I have a new HW95 with no first stage and a heavy pull. So I just need to back out the screw and move the tab forward thanks.

    I followed people who like a really light trigger but with plenty of engagement for safety. That I found was that: at 2 ibs and of course less; the trigger pressure adgusting screw backed out with recoil until it became a hair trigger!.This is on my HW99S!. I like my trigger at about 3.5 lbs!..LA5 UK

    Many thanks for the information and congratulations for the excellent video. I have an HW and thought there was only one screw to adjust the trigger.

    A very good video and thank you for showing the right way and the wrong way, had my triggers to light and was not happy so now i have the first stage and just press a little harder and it goes off. And finding the shooting is better i think if its about 2.5 to 3.4 pounds of pressure, it makes a good safe trigger and better to shoot, a to light trigger does not mean better thanks

    the rekord trigger is awesome. when the necessary parts are polished and added new grease, you can adjust the trigger characteristics almost to a match trigger

    When you pull the trigger: is there any takeup, then you feel the 1st stage resistence, then it comes to a solid stop and then fires upon further pulling (2nd stage) ?

    Great clip as per usual mate. I used your other video tutorial on my first ever strip and rebuild of a rekord trigger about 2 yrs or so ago. It was a success. I polished the sears etc and got it back together nicely. There is nothing wrong with the present trigger on my 97 at all. It's just a standard original silver alloy hw trigger blade. I've just ordered the Rowan set back in brass. It's too late now,...its on it's way and I'll be fitting it. But I was just interested if you have an opinion on these set back triggers, and is there anything I need to know other than knock the pin out, fit the new one, and replace the original adjustment screw with the shorter one that apparently us included in the kit...? 🤝👍👏

    Hi theře mate, I've a 97 and it's put together the action is not separate from the stock. Can you tell me which way to adjust the trigger so my trigger is lighter.. Do I screw it more inwards or outwards so it's lighter to pull. Thanks

    Why is nobody doing a video on the safety catch tab , if you disturb this tab in any way you'll have a job getting the safety catch to stay in place so I thinks video concerning this subject would be very helpful to viewer,s or is it just me.

    I need some help. My Rekord trigger will not reset after I pull the entire first stage. Basically, you pull the first stage all the way until you hit the clear wall of the second stage, and if I let it go here, it just loses all pressure of the first stage, basically just dangling, and when I go to pull it again it's basically just the second stage since the first stage no longer has any weight to it. So strange. This has only happened on this one particular rifle and none other of my weihrauchs. What's happening here?

    • @shootingatdawn
      @shootingatdawn  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try increasing the pressure on the trigger using the large screw. If that doesn't sort it, strip it again and check everything - you cannot have a first stage that doesn't reset on its own - its dangerous.
