Honestly, this is much better than the Monday Night War WWE Network docu-series. At least you give a true & honest opinion on things and not only tell the winners side of the story. Really loving this series!
@M MM Kevin Nash and Hogan had nothing to do with WCW going out of business and no it wouldn't of went out of business in 97 the only reason it went out of business is because of owner Ted Turner lost the TV stations WCW aired on when he got divorced Eric biscoff was going to purchase the company but couldn't find a station to air it so Vincent Kennedy McMahon bought it from them and since then wrestling in wwe have went to hell but finally we have AEW wrestling now on Tnt
Yeah I wish I would've watched both flipping back in forth between the 2 but I was raised to be loyal to everything in life so I only watched WCW so I missed the addutude era
That dawned on me immediately. Maybe their rationalization is Lita and Trish were on a live program. OR... You're right and the match was an embarrassment lolol
Rhonda Singh is one of the women who were just in the wrong era. she'd fit in today just fine. not even as the bertha faye character. she came from stampede and could actually wrestle. one thing he mentioned here is she used power moves which was true but WWF told her not to and she just became a complete comedy character. today she could of been a powerhouse in the women's division kind of like Awesome Kong.
My number one channel to watch during this pandemic & all these troubling times we are having here in south Mississippi. Thanks for giving some of us a breath of fresh air 🥇🏆
RAW will be playing catch up with Nitro for a LONG time IMO.WCW took it to WWE with consistently better matches by taking advantage of knowing what matches they taped.WWE seemed to largely try and ignore them at first and kept putting on squash matches or showcasing guys that werent really ready for RAW.
100% ! like oh they did that this is what we can do to make it better.... I think WCW wins in the long run but it will be a close thing! also a few ties a long the way... I have a feeling WWE wins next week
I was just bitten on the face by a bat and I'm still in the hospital but still having an awesome time from watching this. And folks, be careful out there even playgrounds are unsafe these days!
I didn’t start watching wrestling again till around 1997-1998 cause didn’t have cable in England till then 😭 thanks for these videos, all the parts I missed !
It's kind of a shame that alundra didn't have a good charisma to her, she had an impeccable look. Thank you for making all of these insanely great videos. The use of WCW vs NWO music is the icing on the cake and makes the series exceptional.
Knowing that 1995 was pretty much among the “dark ages” of WWEs wrestling ambitions and WCW just about to getting hyped up, I can’t help but wish this excellent Battleshow of yours would start already within the very beginning of WWE’s Attitude Era. Boy what a treat this will Be, For me this period Of time where both companies delivered quality, will Always remain the best time Of wrestling. Period . PS: Please also compare similar PPVS of WWE vs WCW , like for example Summer Slam vs Bash at the Beach etc!!!
I love this series, this was my senior year in high school. After June of 1996 I joined the Navy and didn’t watch wrestling again for 6 years, I missed the whole attitude era
Love this series mainly cause I don’t have the time to watch every episode of both show I have my favorites that I watch. But It’s good to see an in-depth perspective
Never knew Mr. JL was Jerry Lynn. Even for a longtime fan, I learn something new every day. Nice vid! I might watch these recaps instead of suffering through full mid 90s wrestling episodes LOL
Think RAW really won't start picking up points until late 96/97 as they seem really slow on the uptake. WCW cruiserweight division was way ahead of its time and doesn't get the credit it deserves (IMO) Great upload as always WB
perfectly said. WCW cruiserweight division was wayyyyyy ahead of its time. When you look back (psychosis, la parka, rey mysterio, juventud guerrera etc) you're astonished. WWE now doesn't have the element currently
When that block of ice appeared on screen, I started laughing. And I ONLY know who the Yeti is from your channel. I didn’t watch WCW back then. Great stuff.
Ive mentioned this before but, wouldnt it make sense to keep these videos going until the Fingerpoke of doom/Foleys title win? Not like Nitro was ever better than RAW after that.
I gotta say, during this Coronovirus bs and the recent Floyd protesting going on, it's nice to have something to look forward to every week or so. Love watching as the wars heat up (especially with the emergence of Hall and Nash in WCW). *Btw* - Women's wrestling (to me) didn't start kicking up during this time until Jaquelin, Lita, Trish, Victoria and even Molly Holly were competing. It at least was watchable (although still not given the proper respect and push until 2019). Keep up the good work. Love your content and reliving these old memories
no need to put a space in between paragraphs to lure people to click "read more'. attention seeking behavior. BUT yes i agre with what you said. Hall and nash emergence was like icing to the cake in WCW including the NWO saga. And yeah women's division didnt kick up until the lita, trish etc era. It was "watchable" but Lita really made it watchable with the combination of the dudley boys. The womens division currently like with sasha banks and when rondo was there is definitely watchable
I get really nostalgic about this period just prior to the NWO invasion and attitude era, because this is the time when I really started to get into wrestling, in terms of following the storyline from week to week. It definitely hooked me. The Giant legit scared me at the time.
Maybe after you finish this series you could do a ppv side by side series to see witch ppv were better just a thought amazing show I missed a couple weeks but I am catching up now n every episode is amazing keep up the amazing work much love from south Carolina
I'm so glad you take time out of your days/weeks/months to put these videos together for us. Awesome job as always man! Love the channel and you have a new sub here.
It's been a year or so, are you still enjoying the show? Started a rewatch and saw your message, I hope all is well with you. Love and peace from the U.S.
I came back to rewatch this series and found out I didn't do my homework to listen to Bertha Faye's theme song. Decided to do it, and was not expecting that lol.
Wrestling bio I love it brother you are doing a amazing job! You are the reason why I still stay interested in TH-cam! You are the reason why I still stay interested in wrestling. These are the matches I grew up on these are the things that made the entire world fall in love with wrestling. I think Vince McMahon should fall back and look at what God created in the 90s that was absolutely their high points and I'm even speaking for ECW as well I truly feel that WWE Corporation as a whole have lost sight on what made them who they are today! Please keep up the good work. I will absolutely be contributing to your channel very soon unfortunately with the Coronavirus it is put me in the situation that I have to file for unemployment but I promise you, you are the best entertainment that I have had thank you for all you do.
Legend has it, that Vince McMahon already gave up on Al Snow as Avatar entirely, when he botched the top rope stuff in this first match he ever had for the WWF. First impressions are important, people!
7 down, 264 more to go
264 cups of tea and slices of cake to accompany
These videos are great
Only 264? NOT ENOUGH! 😂
And I'm looking forward to ALL 264 of them !!!!
AMAZING YT CHANNEL !!!!!
My 🕳 hole
I look forward to reliving the war every week

The death of Hogan’s mustache had a longer run then Undertakers first title reign.
Hogans stache signed to Wwf to put Taker over while Hogan was in Wcw.

I died laughing when you brought up them talking about shaving Hogan's moustache AGAIN!!!!

You mean the Yetaaii
WCW's version of the Gobledy Gooker! 😂
Could you imagine... instead of Hulkamania you have ... Yetaii Mania!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Really loving this series!
I expect RAW to come back strong once we hit the attitude era of WWE. Love this series can't wait to watch every week
This series is AMAZING.
Really enjoying it mate keep em coming WB.
Didn't get to see much WCW as a kid so I'm loving this. Well done mate
Just the opposite for me I didn't watch no wwf only WCW
M MM who ever says Nash and hogan destroyed wcw I’ve never heard that before.

WWF and WCW, what a kick-ass wrestling world for Monday Nights. I can sit back and watch these two Titans go tooth & nail
Yeah I wish I would've watched both flipping back in forth between the 2 but I was raised to be loyal to everything in life so I only watched WCW so I missed the addutude era
This is honestly my new must watch YT series!
Hey! Now we need another TH-cam Channel to start doing a documentary like this and then we can have a Weekly War about the Monday Night Wars!
get wrestlelamia on the phone
God, this is good escapism!! Bravo 👏
These episodes would have aired the day after my 14th birthday. Hard to believe. Where does the time go?!
Ok boomer
Eddie Guerrero as a cruiserweight heel is my fave version of his character. I miss Nitro
I loved his LWO and pre-LWO promos. He was an amazing heel.
I love lamp!
This is honestly my favorite thing to watch period. Like when I see wrestling bios in my notifications I get stooked! Best channel
Who knows what could emerge from frozen the block of ice.
Maybe some kind of mummified yeti?

That gonna be....the Yettay....enter the Yettay...
I'll be here every week to relive the Monday Nite Wars
My Favorite Time In Pro Wrestling
my favortite too. I can't watch what they call Raw now
Wait. Alundra and Bertha main evented Raw before Trish and Lita did? Can't blame WWE for plastering over that.
That dawned on me immediately. Maybe their rationalization is Lita and Trish were on a live program. OR... You're right and the match was an embarrassment lolol
We want to see TNA wrestling video
