This is exactly why I never raised any stink about World Heroes or Fighter's History being ripoffs. Ripping off is what the video game industry freaking _does._ Chase the hot trend, make some easy bucks, chase the next hot trend. As with run-through-the-maze games, as with space shooters, as with sidescrolling beat-'em-ups, as with football games, as with rail shooters. You want original and fresh, take up gardening.
I do the same thing but with fashion trends. I buy the cheap versions of whatever clothes styles are trending that are not the name brand version and once the trend dies I just throw the clothes away or use it as wash rags since they were so dirt cheap
It's amazing that these fighting games were ahead of their time based on what we see now. And I do remember playing Martial Champion at an arcade. That particular cabinet, the volume was so damn loud/maximum volume that it was so cool.

if you don't have a sound system hooked up while playing these games. you really are missing out on the sound pounding. cabinets had dedicated sound systems. so games like these; really sounded heavy . you could "feel" the punches and kicks.
At 3:48 I have been the finding the name of this game from many years. I have played this game alot of times when kid almost 8 or 10 may be now I am 32. Thanks for this video.
To me, Daraku Tenshi Fallen Angels is off the hook! It's somewhat similar to Art Of Fighting 3 Path Of The Warrior with its graphics and the absence of numbered combos. But still it's an underrated lost gem that you must give a try at the arcade or even your own emulator, if you please.😁
Does anyone remember a Fighting game where you can figjt as Mythological creatures like a Minotaur, werewolf, golem, i think one of the subbosses was a hydra?

Until SFIV's Fighting chef, this was where they put all their masked wrestlers. I'd love to see THAT Black Widow fighting Street Fighter's Ryu AND MK's Scorpion. She was the inspiration for Sakura, you know.

Martial champions is the one a was looking for, I used to play it when child but I didn't really remember the name.
There's another called martial masters which came out in 2001 that looks like street fighter 3. Amazing game. Wonder if they're related.

Supposedly, it's on Japanese PSN. So if you can get your hands on a japanese psn card, you can buy it. But that's assuming it's still there.
