The money from doing main contracts and the most expensive side contracts is a great money grind. It's not Cayo, but it's on the mainland where you have access to everything and it's refreshing at the moment.

I don’t think this DLC is meant to be “worth the pay” as nothing is going to beat a Cayo grind. I think DLCs after Cayo and goin g forward is just for the entertainment value and have fun. I think too many people have gotten so sucked into the money aspect of the game that they choose not to enjoy all the content GTA has to offer just for fun like this dlc or even adversary

To be honest this update is really good for making money if you grind the content... You can do Assassination mission in 2-5 mins for 85k every 20mins meanwhile do some security work for around 55k~ sometimes more or less in about 5-10 mins and if you play the story first time I needed around 5 hours without rushing it and having those long ass loadscreens for 1.6 million after that you can tho the whole story and rush trough in like 2 1/2 hours getting 1million I played for maybe 10 hours and made almost 4 million alone with the new agency

I'm quite picky since R* has done goofed numerous times over the years, so I usually have a sour opinion on DLCs, but this one felt like it was something worth playing even without a CayoPerico-class payouts per hour, since they gave a "high quality story element" which was missing in many DLCs. At this point, I think some youtubers (including Professional of course) are so into "money making", they'll b*tch about anything they can find since it'll bring in more viewers who just want to bash R*.
You don’t need the computer to utilize the business, if you call Franklin outside of your agency, you can request a security contract, or a payphone hit. And you can do them in a invite only.
Franklin starting at the hood and being big now is nice, reminds me of CJ. CJ left the hood and ended up owning the car business and shares in the casino. Also, being Madd Dogg’s manager

Rockstar may be hinting at a new dripfeed or dlc coming up via Franklin mentioning Rosalia. He says she doesn't need our help yet*, but maybe she will in the future leading to more storylines and missions. Also, the plurals on the way he says "A- Listers" suggests that there could be more coming in future dlcs.

@Ali Chaudhry not gonna lie, I hope that if they come out with a new gta game or even just an overhaul of gta 5 as some big update, they incorporate elements of RDR2 into it. Stuff like having smaller interactions such as sitting on a bench or just having bars and restaurants in the open world, more food and drinks as consumables that affect your stats instead of just a bunch of candy and beer/cigarettes, a better melee and ranged combat system (rdr2’s gunplay feels way better than V and GTA 6 could really benefit from it. It could make weapons like pistols and semi autos more viable, though they might also want to tone down the ammo capacity on all weapons to balance it), more towns scattered around a large map instead of just a bunch of nothing with one city, etc. I just see so much in RDR2 that I think would be awesome in a gta game.
So a nice thing about this dlc is that they really streamlined these missions... you dont actually have to go back to the computer to launch up another mission, just call Franklin and he can get you a mission (granted a random one). The assassinations are fun cause they use unique features. The guns seem fun though everything new is basically useless weapon wise. The heavy rifle is satisfying though. Apparently the heavy sniper mk2 is currently 1 shotting people without bst or special ammo which is a great change for the pvp community though this may be a glitch. The pocket any-vehicle glitch is gone, which is good. Mk2 users are apparently "easier to disable" regarding destroying the mk2... Idk if this is true though. Arcades can now hold 5x more money. Daily fees are reduced almost by half for properties. 4 of the new vehicles have unique upgrades from Imani which make civilian cars viable... a lock on jammer or a remote control car with explosives (a discount bandito)... just sucks you cant have both. Overall, the only thing that would have made this dlc better in terms of content qould be opening these missions and whatnot up to invite only sessions cause publics are cancerous in 2021
The emp launcher is kind of what I feared. A weak ass grenade launcher. 🤦🏼♀️ but I suppose I’ll give it a whirl if I run into a night shark griefer The RC upgrade along with machine guns and the armor makes the feature feel almost OP. I drove around terrorizing a half a dozen players and finally exited without anyone even having destroyed the vehicle. Emp may prove useful here. The heavy rifle sounds great, can kill cops And basic enemies with ease. Recharge on the stun gun is atrocious. I was very disappointed by it.
If you read this get the champion and the new buffalo cuz they have armor plating that can survive more than 10 oppressor missiles and also has a missile jammer so homing missiles won't track you
For the Security Contracts you just gotta get lucky with what the payouts are. My highest payout was $78K and the mission was quite easy for it being Specialist+, which I'm guessing is the hardest difficulty.

So for I don't really like the update. The only good thing aside from two new interesting cars is meeting Lamar and Franklin again The missions are standard contact "go there, kill, xd" and "go there, collect, xd" Isn't really that interesting tbh. Maybe I need to suck them up and then there'll be fun missions with Dr. Dre, but I'd rather finish up Yakuza 4, 5 & 6
I actually just finished the story mode of GTA 5 before I did the Online DLC story. And then I already finished it. And I gotta say it was definitely worth it. Seeing Franklin and Lamar and Chop again after 8 years. This new Online story was just good. 💙👍🏽😁
Feels so weird seeing the facecam with GTAO gameplay. I love how Franklin repurposed "Los Santos Owns You" into "You Own Los Santos", along with using the Premium Deluxe Motorsport Employee of the Month plague as personal trophies.
You may start to notice that R* has changed how traffic messes with you. For instance they drastically increased the speed of cross traffic at intersections, I have seen cars literally go from stopped at a light to over 100mph, and then stop on the other side of the intersection. They also have npc cars running far more red lights than they use to.
I really like the dlc, the only flaws imo are the shitty emp launcher and not being able to access the missions in an invite only. But the agency itself is the best facility in the game. The lock on jammer for some cars are awesome as well 😁
Its cool to see them both old together knowing they started from the bottom. Thats also why Franklin modified his “Los santos owns you” poster to “You own Los Santos”
I have a love hate relationship with the cayo perico heist. I love it because it makes a lot of money, but I hate it because it makes a lot of money. It pretty much just voids all other money making methods since it makes 1.5 million an hour *solo*. So these contract jobs are useless
I like it a lot of the money grind in GTA used to be really repetitive and boring it took forever for me to get enough to even buy some of the cool stuff. Now with the heist I can actually enjoy some of the content because I can afford it. Also the businesses I do enjoy like bunker and night club I can still do. Just means I can skip the businesses I hated like the mc businesses no offense but those sell missions were boring as hell I can't do that 4-5 times a week for multiple businesses I don't have enough time with work and school and I don't have enough patience

Am I the only one who thinks the UFO stuff from Halloween was to test out the EMP launcher without us knowing it? Since if you got to close to the UFO your vehicle would lose power.

Only good thing about this update is that you can get cars with an anti lock on upgrade which prevents anyone from locking onto you in a normal car which the new Buffalo when it's fully upgraded can take 10 homing rockets plus with no lock on is a blessing man
Every non-Weaponized vehicles should be unable to be locked onto until the other player attacks you for example So it would be kind of similar to defensive mode in red dead online
If anyone has problem with loading getting stuck while trying to get into agency or any other business. Go to internet settings and put MTU to 800 it takes you to solo puplic session. This infinite loading screen is becouse of fully lobbies overpopulated where servers cannot keep up.

Hey professional i know your not a fan of the mk2 this update could be a step in the right direction with some of the new cars having missile lock on scrambler could help us get round the map without some arse blowing us up and also they have moderate armour so maybe it can take a lucky hit or 2 not yet had time to test that but here's to hoping
I find it hard to believe that the Online Protagonist and Franklin never met before this DLC considering they both worked (and in the Online Protagonist's case still occasionally do things) for Simeon.
And also our online character having a somewhat close connection to Lamar since he’s the one who introduces us to Los Santos and gives us the tutorial in the very beginning, and when we work with him on various contact missions and the Lowrider storyline With Franklin and Lamar being close friends it’d be surprising if Lamar never talked about that to Franklin at all before
The DLC is pretty cool. I like the Payphone Assassinations and that they allow you to do everything in an Invite Only session now. If only Rockstar cared about RDO as much..
a more accurate DLC feature would have been a statue of the Logo of Rockstar taking a piss on the RDR2 Logo with an inscription " RDR2 is GTA's Bitch stop whining no one cares " cause that would be more inline with how R* really see RDR2
Rockstar has updated the computer so you can start the missions in an invite only session. It was a bug that wouldn’t let you start them unless you was in a public session
I've already finished the story of the DLC, 10/10 and 9/10 on the DLC content cuz the Champion is just looks, Emerus and Krieger still the fastest cars on GTA.
I love how TheProfessional didn't even get the gta 5 story mode references in the cutscenes when we are walking with franklin towards our office. The references were: little Kids stealing cars. A reference to jimmy and Simeon. Somebody owes money to somebody. Referencing to micheal owing money to the person whose mansion was destroyed. And wife stroking tennis coaches. Reference to Amanda and her cheating on Michael. Man this DLC could possibly be the best Story DLC addition to gta online.
The beautiful part is that you can play as Franklin or Lamar and do a little storymode made of 3 co-op missions for 2 players! They are also very funny and make you laugh most part of the times 😁😁
Oh yeah I saw that man that was actually awesome why couldn't they add a Co-op mode for the story mode and all 3 of you play as Micheal, Franklin, and Trevor that would've been a better idea
R* needs to add a “join as CEO” or the fabled “solo-public lobby” button, its taking me an hour to find a session without max VIP players and taking an hour to fund a session to resume the new story really downplays any quality in the new story
Hey professional I did the same mission as you vehicle recovery and I got a different vehicle it was a brand new motorcycle I think it will be added later down the line as drip feed vehicle I just thought you’d wanna know there’s a little bit of variety for this mission and possibly more in the future
I really hope Michael will return in the next DLC for GTA Online. Rockstar also should let the players to get a chance to see and investigate Devin Weston's corpse as a new clue/mystery/easter egg in GTA Online that would fully confirms Deathwish ending (Ending C) is canon, his corpse should be located at the seashore where he was killed in Ending C in story mode.
I hate how every mission involves recycled interiors yet again, R* are too lazy to make new building interiors if they can’t sell them to the player it would seem. Comes off as extremely lazy for a company taking in billions a year from the game
For my first day impressions so far the business is a failure, 250 dollars over time is pathetic for both a end game player like me or a newcomer to online, the repeatable contract jobs fall behind both Client jobs and VIP Work in general. The Story, Stun Gun, Lock-On Jammer and Remote Control Personal Vehicle are the hits of the this update. The Business, EMP Launcher, Rrifle and Vehicles are just generic uninteresting aditions.

You know I'd love the new dlc, but I'm not able to play it with everyone in their mother playing it with the additional b.s. of long loading screens and big lobbies with everyone as an MC or CEO. So for I don't really like the update. The only good thing aside from two new interesting cars is meeting Lamar and Franklin again

I actually just finished the story mode of GTA 5 before I did the Online DLC story. And then I already finished it. And I gotta say it was definitely worth it. Seeing Franklin and Lamar and Chop again after 8 years. This new Online story was just good. 💙👍🏽😁

Feels so weird seeing the facecam with GTAO gameplay.
I love how Franklin repurposed "Los Santos Owns You" into "You Own Los Santos", along with using the Premium Deluxe Motorsport Employee of the Month plague as personal trophies.
You may start to notice that R* has changed how traffic messes with you. For instance they drastically increased the speed of cross traffic at intersections, I have seen cars literally go from stopped at a light to over 100mph, and then stop on the other side of the intersection. They also have npc cars running far more red lights than they use to.

I really like the dlc, the only flaws imo are the shitty emp launcher and not being able to access the missions in an invite only. But the agency itself is the best facility in the game. The lock on jammer for some cars are awesome as well 😁

Apparently you can do the contract missions in invite only by calling Franklin through your phone.
Tuner cars are nerfed and the high speed glitch is fixed

This DLC should of always been for the Story Mode.
Its cool to see them both old together knowing they started from the bottom. Thats also why Franklin modified his “Los santos owns you” poster to “You own Los Santos”
I have a love hate relationship with the cayo perico heist. I love it because it makes a lot of money, but I hate it because it makes a lot of money. It pretty much just voids all other money making methods since it makes 1.5 million an hour *solo*. So these contract jobs are useless

I like it a lot of the money grind in GTA used to be really repetitive and boring it took forever for me to get enough to even buy some of the cool stuff. Now with the heist I can actually enjoy some of the content because I can afford it. Also the businesses I do enjoy like bunker and night club I can still do. Just means I can skip the businesses I hated like the mc businesses no offense but those sell missions were boring as hell I can't do that 4-5 times a week for multiple businesses I don't have enough time with work and school and I don't have enough patience

@@batmanrise4737 it’s online but it’s still the closest to a Franklin story expansion that we’ll ever get, it still gives us an expansion on Franklin’s character and how much he’s progressed years after storymode took place. Even a little extra stuff for Lamar too though not nearly as much as we get with Franklin
I like the story references
For example the tennis coach thing and during one of the missions you drive trough the movie studio and franklin says he knows one of the producers
Only thing I love about this DLC is the continuity and my boy Franklin and the best boi Chop. Seeing how pricey the Agencies are though was painful.

Only good thing about this update is that you can get cars with an anti lock on upgrade which prevents anyone from locking onto you in a normal car which the new Buffalo when it's fully upgraded can take 10 homing rockets plus with no lock on is a blessing man
Every non-Weaponized vehicles should be unable to be locked onto until the other player attacks you for example
So it would be kind of similar to defensive mode in red dead online

Go to internet settings and put MTU to 800 it takes you to solo puplic session.
This infinite loading screen is becouse of fully lobbies overpopulated where servers cannot keep up.
Don't know why people say solo mtu method doesn't work still, cause I just got in fine

Hey professional i know your not a fan of the mk2 this update could be a step in the right direction with some of the new cars having missile lock on scrambler could help us get round the map without some arse blowing us up and also they have moderate armour so maybe it can take a lucky hit or 2 not yet had time to test that but here's to hoping
They should put that shit on every car.

I find it hard to believe that the Online Protagonist and Franklin never met before this DLC considering they both worked (and in the Online Protagonist's case still occasionally do things) for Simeon.
And also our online character having a somewhat close connection to Lamar since he’s the one who introduces us to Los Santos and gives us the tutorial in the very beginning, and when we work with him on various contact missions and the Lowrider storyline
With Franklin and Lamar being close friends it’d be surprising if Lamar never talked about that to Franklin at all before
The DLC is pretty cool. I like the Payphone Assassinations and that they allow you to do everything in an Invite Only session now. If only Rockstar cared about RDO as much..

You can do this in invite only sessions now it was a bug
Rockstar has updated the computer so you can start the missions in an invite only session. It was a bug that wouldn’t let you start them unless you was in a public session
I've already finished the story of the DLC, 10/10 and 9/10 on the DLC content cuz the Champion is just looks, Emerus and Krieger still the fastest cars on GTA.
I love how TheProfessional didn't even get the gta 5 story mode references in the cutscenes when we are walking with franklin towards our office. The references were: little Kids stealing cars. A reference to jimmy and Simeon. Somebody owes money to somebody. Referencing to micheal owing money to the person whose mansion was destroyed. And wife stroking tennis coaches. Reference to Amanda and her cheating on Michael. Man this DLC could possibly be the best Story DLC addition to gta online.

The beautiful part is that you can play as Franklin or Lamar and do a little storymode made of 3 co-op missions for 2 players! They are also very funny and make you laugh most part of the times 😁😁
Oh yeah I saw that man that was actually awesome why couldn't they add a Co-op mode for the story mode and all 3 of you play as Micheal, Franklin, and Trevor that would've been a better idea
R* needs to add a “join as CEO” or the fabled “solo-public lobby” button, its taking me an hour to find a session without max VIP players and taking an hour to fund a session to resume the new story really downplays any quality in the new story

Hey professional I did the same mission as you vehicle recovery and I got a different vehicle it was a brand new motorcycle I think it will be added later down the line as drip feed vehicle I just thought you’d wanna know there’s a little bit of variety for this mission and possibly more in the future

I really hope Michael will return in the next DLC for GTA Online. Rockstar also should let the players to get a chance to see and investigate Devin Weston's corpse as a new clue/mystery/easter egg in GTA Online that would fully confirms Deathwish ending (Ending C) is canon, his corpse should be located at the seashore where he was killed in Ending C in story mode.

this dlc is a lil less than average for me, what has me hooked are the anti lock on jammers, most stuff was a letdown, especially the emp gun

I hate how every mission involves recycled interiors yet again, R* are too lazy to make new building interiors if they can’t sell them to the player it would seem. Comes off as extremely lazy for a company taking in billions a year from the game
I’ve heard you CAN in fact do these missions in invite only. You have to call Franklin and he will select a random one for you.
For my first day impressions so far the business is a failure, 250 dollars over time is pathetic for both a end game player like me or a newcomer to online, the repeatable contract jobs fall behind both Client jobs and VIP Work in general.
The Story, Stun Gun, Lock-On Jammer and Remote Control Personal Vehicle are the hits of the this update.
The Business, EMP Launcher, Rrifle and Vehicles are just generic uninteresting aditions.
I think the little contract missions are suppose to increase the amount
