I think you perfectly highlighted, throughout this video, by saying "for a Kia", what the only thing holding this car back will be: badge snobs. And it's a shame. Hyundai and Kia have come such a long way over the last 20 years or so, and they're both now excellent brands, with great products and networks. So if people are still not even considering them, just because they'd rather have an American or European badge, then in my opinion they're missing out on potential great cars for them. Don't ever judge a car on who manufactured it; judge the product itself. Any carmaker is capable of making a bad car, likewise a good one.
Ridiculous. It’s about status. And that IS a thing. You get a new BMW X5 and people know that’s costing you more than a Kia. It means you have been able to achieve this. Now you may have had to stretch yourself to get the BMW and like the feeling of status - or you had no issue whatever in affording it and simply go for perceived higher quality products. It’s what these brands are all based around and we are a nation of snobs - unlike Americans - who tend to go for what is included and value with looks and don’t have the same inbuilt snobbery we do here in Britain.
Love the Sorento but Kia made a HUGE mistake by leaving out the Drivers Seat Memory feature. Its not available on any trim, including the SX Prestige. This feature is a MUST HAVE for anyone who shares the driving with someone else. Come on Kia...fix this oversight ASAP so that I can buy an SX Prestige!
I really like the look of the new Sorento but find it so annoying that the North American version looks nicer with the 20" alloys in black. They also have a spec called the X Line which is a more rugged looking Sorento. Not quite sure why their prices seem to be cheaper than ours and i think they also get a 10 year warranty with Kia models there.
The number of cars that Hyundai and Kia sell around the world, allows them to spend more money on RND than any other manufacturer which in turn leads to produce better and better cars.
1: Why can’t they make these SUV’s a little more taller like a rang rover vogue so that it doesn’t seem like a bloated estate(audi q7) or a shrunk 4x4 2: the third row rear window is so small, how is anyone supposed to look out on a long journey, without feeling claustrophobic Otherwise I am very impressed and interested in buying this car
The Santa Fe is nice looking, but I wish they would've done a full redesign on the body shape. It still looks too round compared to the newly redesigned competition.
Hi, very nice video. Just bought Sorento 2.2 diesel. I am not fan of diesel but only very few people are interested in hybrid. 1.6 l engine is simply too small for such a big car. Even Kia sale staff recommend diesel. This is at least my experience
@@robsvideos4653 cheers Rob. Not sure why you're so butt hurt by my comment. Don't take it personal buddy. There's better stuff to waste your time over. Ps: by your logic why bother with a ten minute review anyway.. A minute or two in and out should be good enough right?
I have to say this is pathetic. Who uses a bloody third row of seats in reality? For god sake man you got three kids that is enough. But what about their friends - what about their bloody parents and their car. Christ it’s not a bus.

It is available for the Australian market in the GT-Line trim...
It's also available in Germany!
Which market are you referring to? UK should have memory seats!
Hi Also available in New Zealand with 2 driver memory options
I own one
I enjoyed watching the Video Review. I expect the ‘4’ will be the best selling Trim In the UK
Great review and of course..........a 7 year warranty.
I like a lot about this but don't need 7 seater, what would be some good smaller alternatives?
Kia Seltos or Huyndai Tucson
@@jackletrungtin thank you I will check them out
Based on price ..... HELL YEAH!!!!!
Kia are giving the Germans a run for their money. Much needed innovation and competition to keep the Germans motivated!

If sorento starts from 39000£ it’s too expensive and like previous models in EU it will also fail
New Santa Fe is a lot better looking exterior, but the Sorento shines with it's Interior excellence.
speak for yourself i find the Sorento better looking, i think the front of the santa fe looks like its squinting
Looks are a subjective thing. In my opinion the Kia is a much better looking car, externally, to the Hyundai.
I think kia looks so much better than santa fe

Agreed. Exterior wise santa fe, interior sorrento. But man, wait for the tucson. That interior is amazing
I didn't understand what is the 2, 3, and 4 referring to?
Those are the different trim levels - with the 2 being the cheapest and the 4 being the top-spec model - Cam
@@YesAutoUK Got it. Thanks.

But Trim 4 is not available for diesel engine?
Who does a review on a 7 seater and doesn’t show 7 seats
Absolutely right. The description of video highlights 7 seater but he didn't even show the space in the 3rd row
The Stinger GT competes against the German brands, not the Sorento.
❤😍👍KIA👍😍❤
Wow kia sorrento goooood
Was watching for the 3rd row and you didn't even mention it..
Who cares it’s two seats that are small. Cup holder and a USB socket as seen when he dropped the third row seats. Why did you not LOOK.

I gave you a down vote for being lazy and not showing the 3rd row!

..good..Kia Sorento
wow.. kia sorento HV
39 grand for a this?? What is the world coming too 🤦
HP,WHP,BHP all old and bullshit units !!! Use KW !
