My late husband left me with a whole pack of those Sharpie paint markers ❤️ He swore by them when he was with us, he used them for EVERYTHING!! So now we used them to write a lil something on the rocks where he was tragically killed. It's been 4 months, it's rained plenty of times and the writing is still there!!!

Trash to treasure videos are one of my favorites! The kitties bed is just the cutest! It was so nice to meet you in person the other day. I told my girls I felt star-struck, meeting such a famous person. 😊

I turn everything I can into a planter. As soon as I saw the box I thought to myself that would make a cute planter... great minds think alike.

I could breath through that sign! Such an airy font & placement & great use of negative space. Loved ALL the projects!!! What a GREAT idea to use those checks as tags. Something really tough to throw out, but would sit in a drawer & serve no practical purpose, is now out & being enjoyed. LOVE that thought. Great work!

Goo Gone from the hardware store works really well getting off sticky residue from price tags and labels. The cat bed is my favorite. Adorable!
That cat bed is the cat's meow!!!! :) Loved it! Now I need to find me an extra drawer so our cat can have one too!!!

Same here! I have designated "paint clothes" since I've ruined quite a few. I'm wearing a set now since I'm repainting my dining room chairs.
I can never stay clean while painting Mary is amazing I usually paint on canvas I keep forgetting that there is paint on the bristles yep some has gone in my mouth I even dipped it in my coffee lol

I stumbled across your videos. and LOVE them. Funny, My name is Mary, and I just purchased a "little white cottage" , my home, a cute little wood look steel sided 1950's 1 bedroom with large family/bonus" room the size of bedroom/tv room combined that I need to furnish for my creation space. Like you I fix, refurb and create, I spin yarn (3 working spinning wheels) I have a small table loom for weaving and a sewing machine I want to set up permanently instead of shuffling it away all the time. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE my dog and cat and FLOWERS. My landscaping is a flat 100x168 lot with no plantings other than one peony bush in the middle of nowhere and a few shrubs. I moved in in november so I'm not really sure the condition of anything in my yard. I can wait to dive into your videos to green your ideas and wisdom, its always easier to see someone elses idea than to get evaluation paralyzation on your own things. You're terrific thanks for being a fellow tinker and sharing your talents.

So happy to have found another female DIYer who uses power tools! I recently did a trash to treasure project/video using my son's old boots. It makes you feel alive and clever to upcycle, doesn't it?! Your planter box you made is my favorite--gorgeous. You should definitely feel worthy. Amazing videos.

All of the projects turned out really nice. I especially liked the cat bed, and obviously Pebbles did, too, and the planter. It looks like Twinkles will need a bigger bed. LOL! Thank you for sharing!
I am a florist & I have a great tip for removing sticky residue from most anything. Use leaf shine. One brand you can get at Walmart is Green Glow or Pokon. We use it to shine our green plants in the shop. Just spray it on sticky & let sit a minute then rub off with paper towel. (Add more spray if it’s stubborn) On small areas I spray some on paper towel & rub off spot. It also takes paint off your hands! Hope this helps someone. I keep a can under my kitchen sink. Btw, I just love your ideas Mary and just love love your house!!!
