According to the wiki and what I've seen, Blood Rush and Weeping don't offer a true 12x the percent. At 2x combo, you only get a 40% increase, and so on. So at a 12x combo, you really only get 11x the percent.
I have a melee-related question: How do you block on M&K? The tool tip says right click, which works in Duviri but not in the regular game. Outside of Duviri I can't use any stance combo except "spam melee" because I can't block. Everything I've looked up is either people complaining about the same thing (for years, btw) or changing a setting to something I already had it set to anyway.
to block damage you just point your aim to the enemy(ies) in front of you. It will automatically move your melee to block projectiles. If that is what you mean.

Maybe its a little late but your combo counter increases by every 20 light attacks hits (hitting multiple enemies with the same attack works). In here he is also modding for another uncommon stat called Combo Efficiency, which saves some of the combo accumulated when you spend it in a heavy attack. So for example, your counter always starts with a x1 multiplier. After 20 light hits you will reach x2 for your next heavy attack. But if you modded for 90% efficiency (maximun allowed), after doing a heavy you would only need 2 other light attacks to be back at the x2 multiplier instead of 20 light attacks.
40:02 “now that I have 12x initial combo thanks to the arcane” the melee crescendo arcane permanently increases your initial combo a little bit every time you perform a finisher, which he built up off-screen because it takes a little while. After using a heavy attack, your combo goes down to zero and then automatically builds back up to whatever your initial combo is. It doesn’t happen instantly.
I'm still confused on modding for heavy when playing Kullervo, he doesn't need any crit chance mods and putting statuses is redundant, you are oneshotting everything anyway, I don't know what I should put in the remaining slots

As a poor witle melee main i did this with the dex nikana and it works extremely well with valks war cry and my friend who was tethering me with nidus i hit 85mil red crit and 1 shot a sp stalker i forgot what they are called
I’m so torn on this video, I’ve been playing since 2015 and kept up especially with melee. Look I’m going to say this, the best thing to do is to get used to melee and other weapons, find what works best for you then hone in on it. Then Once you found your groove use your weapons together you aren’t JUST a primary or JUST a secondary (unless your mesa) or JUST your melee, you are a walking arsenal USE IT, work like a dancer flow with your tools and weapons and frames, everything matters when you work with what you have. I have been using the Nukor for years to apply large groups with viral then going in with Garuda’s 4 and applying slash before finishing pretty much what’s left with a Nikana prime. That’s just ONE example of using everything together, Warframe is a game about combining everything together. Take your time, learn to fight, learn what your weapons are best at and connect the dots. Say you have +100% damage. If you multiply that to your basedamage you didnt change anything. 1.65 x basedmg is the increase but you still need to add what you already had
1.65 x base damage is just an increase of 65%. To get your base damage plus the 165% increase, you have to add the 1 to the multiplier. It's the same as doing it the long way: (1.65 x 198) + 198 = 524.7.

Impact and puncture melees are built either for raw damage or melee influence if they have good enough status chance. For raw damage are replacing weeping wounds and gladiator might for corrosive or whatever combo is needed, or gladiator might in most cases for shocking touch in the case of melee influence. It's not something that needs an explanation. On a raw damage build don't need status. If want to boost condition overload have primers for that. Gladiator might is almost always the flex slot. That's why it's dropped for the 2nd element on the raw damage build, or the electricity for the influence one.
If you paid attention, even if he didn't direct talk about impact or puncture, he said that builds that aren't focused on slash, or that you won't proc slash as often, you wanna have a weapon to prime, a warframe to spread status, as he mentioned lavos and garuda, or other sources. He is literally talking about it when he is talking about slam damage and using melee exposure to increase damage. I have a heavy attack weapon that I use often, and it has at least 3-4 elemental damage when I play with certain warframes builds.
if you paid attention, the whole elemental section with certain arcanes are going to be the main focus for those types of weapons. please pay attention before random comment.

So, this is my first time in this comment section and i don't really have a feeling for this community, but im just gonna put it out there: Your glaive build really isn't good. Its bad even. Put in an element for volatile rebound as that mod only increases your damage when you trigger the explosion together with the automatic explosion, significantly reducing the strenght of the secon explosion. On top of that, please switch out gladiator might for (i believe) power throw. (I don't play the game in english, so sorry for potentialy wrong names.) It increases the damage with consecutive throws (the bonus can be stored through switching weapons before catching it while still pressing meele, kinda hard to explain in a quick sentence) Anyway, that mod alone triples your damage. I see you have a power throw build there, would have loved to see that one and why you decided against that mod in this build. Edit: Although i really could have phrased this better, i am still suprised by the relative nice answers i got from this community, thanks guys. Next time im gonna write my comments more carefully here :D
ok first off no exposures already there plus more range more death second power throw is annyoing to use because u need to constantly throw the glaive and because its glaive prime u wont need that much mroe dmg 3rd the build he showed was the most standard glaive build ever
when you throw your glaive and it has 100% guarantee bleed, they will die, if not instantly, in a few seconds after the explosion due to bleed, so it doesn't really need to be throwing multiple times, but these builds are for to you to learn how to mod a melee weapon, if you already know how to mod and you can improve the modding to your gameplay, you can just do it. Others who doesn't know, they learn how to mod a certain kind of weapon from this video.

Right mouse button
Hold F to switch to your melee weapon then hold M2 to block. If you just enter your melee by pressing the attack, pressing M2 will just make you aim

I'm assuming the build kind of ends up being the same but instead of building around slash dps you build around elemental and raw damage? or changing the ips weighting on specific weapons with status chance/slash mods like that deimos mod/ rivens
Impact and puncture melees are built either for raw damage or melee influence if they have good enough status chance. For raw damage are replacing weeping wounds and gladiator might for corrosive or whatever combo is needed, or gladiator might in most cases for shocking touch in the case of melee influence.
It's not something that needs an explanation. On a raw damage build don't need status. If want to boost condition overload have primers for that. Gladiator might is almost always the flex slot. That's why it's dropped for the 2nd element on the raw damage build, or the electricity for the influence one.
If you paid attention, even if he didn't direct talk about impact or puncture, he said that builds that aren't focused on slash, or that you won't proc slash as often, you wanna have a weapon to prime, a warframe to spread status, as he mentioned lavos and garuda, or other sources. He is literally talking about it when he is talking about slam damage and using melee exposure to increase damage. I have a heavy attack weapon that I use often, and it has at least 3-4 elemental damage when I play with certain warframes builds.

So, this is my first time in this comment section and i don't really have a feeling for this community, but im just gonna put it out there:
Your glaive build really isn't good. Its bad even.
Put in an element for volatile rebound as that mod only increases your damage when you trigger the explosion together with the automatic explosion, significantly reducing the strenght of the secon explosion.
On top of that, please switch out gladiator might for (i believe) power throw. (I don't play the game in english, so sorry for potentialy wrong names.)
It increases the damage with consecutive throws (the bonus can be stored through switching weapons before catching it while still pressing meele, kinda hard to explain in a quick sentence)
Anyway, that mod alone triples your damage.
I see you have a power throw build there, would have loved to see that one and why you decided against that mod in this build.

No, you dont want power throw because you want to do 1 throw and killed them all, you don't throw the second time
when you throw your glaive and it has 100% guarantee bleed, they will die, if not instantly, in a few seconds after the explosion due to bleed, so it doesn't really need to be throwing multiple times, but these builds are for to you to learn how to mod a melee weapon, if you already know how to mod and you can improve the modding to your gameplay, you can just do it. Others who doesn't know, they learn how to mod a certain kind of weapon from this video.
