Great video! may i ask, where did you find your spinning wire brush attachment? I live in Canada and i have been trying to find one for quite sometime. all i find is the one you use with a drill. thanks very much!
We charge 250 plus tax we only charge extra for mileage. I'd take before and after pictures if the customer asks. It takes more time but I'll do it. I use my phone to take videos for myself to know it's done right. Will come back and finish if there's any issues.
Depends on the size of the home and how many vents you have including all supply, and return. Small home $300 - $500 Medium home $500 - $800 Bigger homes can be well over $1000- or more.
If you have this done , make sure that you take pictures of before and after . Purchase a lighted bore scope if you have to. Most of these people do a half ass job.
No it doesn't. Cleaning the furnace, coil and blower is done by an HVAC tech. The air duct cleaner might blow them off if they are easily accessible, but they aren't going to do any real cleaning. In fact, in most states you have to be a licensed HVAC tech to clean the furnace.
@@marcusvonmaximus8071 I'm an air duct cleaner and our company pulls the blower so we can clean it and the heat exchanger. if that heat exchanger is clogged with dust and it usually is cleaning the system does nothing for air flow.
Well considering there is a certification process to go through if the company is legit. I worked for a company that did this as part of their business. I didn't do much in the duct cleaning side as I worked in a different division, but I did help them out occassionally. It isn't as easy as most people think. If you are doing it correctly, there is a lot of skill and knowledge required.
@@purewhiteboy48 most hvac in older homes there is no duct work off the main trunk..they used wall cavities drywall and 2x4 as flues or ducts / registers and returns. Bubbles you are clueless none of that is worth cleaning. Get a shop vac and go nuts. Vacumn the fan blades in the furnace change your filter. Bubbles you have a bubble somewhere

Super informative video!
I wouldn't use the octopus fingers in that situation the ducts are padded. You're tearing them up and wrecking them. Should've used the skipper.
Hi air duct cleaning should include Furnace, Coil, blower motor, Patching, and vents.
No it doesn't lol unless you want to pay extra

They won't touch the furnace! No duct cleaning service will.
@@marcusvonmaximus8071 why not, furnace, blower , is part of ducts. If your clean the ducts, then you clean furnace and blower

LMAO lazy home owners. Get a shop vac and clean your vents and fan in the furnace. Change your filter regularly.
your ignorance on this matter is outstanding!!
