Hi Guys. Only started watching your utube channel a couple of weeks ago and I have to say that I'm very impressed with both of you. Very informative and detailed. You've given us the motivation and inspiration to finish our self build van and start our adventures. Looking forward to our very first van life experience. Keep up the great work.
@@dubventures Hi. For our circumstances we decided to go day van style as the van will be for everyday use. When we brought it, it needed everything doing. Totally gutted it. Sound deadened it, insulated it, then carpeted throughout. We decided on pretty much the same set up as your lovely van. Full size bed with a good size storage unit tucked behind the seats. Obviously my wife then got in there and did her thing lol, curtains, rugs, lights, decorative pieces here and there. Pretty much all done inside now, we are just getting final touches like awning, window covers etc. Wind deflectors are on. A good lockdown project. Leisure battery and TV will come later, can't do it all ( unfortunately ) in one go lol. Exciting times to follow we hope. Keep up the great work guys, love it..
@@dubventures will do. First main road trip will be up to north wales and follow the coastal route all the way down west coast 🙌. My wife is so looking forward to it but a wee bit apprehensive as never done this before .

We got back two weeks ago. 12 days intotal from the South Coast of England and back. Well worth the effort. Thank you chaps for the info, stayed at Trossach Holiday park after your recommendation, tried for Ferry View at John O'Groats but it was full, stayed at Dunnet Bay instead. We wild camped once, after Apple Cross Pass. We must have been very close because I had a long chat with the couple, at Sango Sands, the morning after they lost the top of their roof box! Sango Sands is at Durness. We did a side trip to the beach where they filmed Local Hero - well worth it.
Wester Ross tourist route. Also Stunning and if possible next time your here try and take a wee jaunt out to Ardnamurchan Lighthouse which is the most westerly point on mainland UK.

My uncle Stanley who travelled the world in raf always said you will never beat Scotland and that's why my van is called Stanly or Stan the van
