- Is this the best-sounding engine? If not, what if your favorite engine sound?
I filmed this at a car show in Denver. unfortunately, it was gone just as fast as it arrived. But I was able to capture at least some fottage of it, enjoy!

nothing like the growl on a Pantera
Except the howl of an Italian V8
American V8 351 Z5
It's just a 4-barrel 351 Cleveland instead of exhaust manifolds you get the exact same sound of a 69 to 73 mustang OR Torino real easy.. hell, the BIG BLOCKS sound even better. (Ford big blocks, Chevy big blocks had a different firing order, they sound a TINY bit tamer). -- aSk any OLD car guy.
there's nothing like the sound of a V8 Ford! 351 Cleveland I believe
Pure, FORD Cleveland breathing loud and proud 😂
I worked at a body shop in Castle Rock, Colorado around 2004. There was a guy down the street from us who built/restored Panteras. It was always a treat to hear this sound coming down the street and seeing a freshly finished Pantera rolling by.
You sat around 2004? So your saying you don't know exactly what year? How old are you 90?
Sounds l8ke an out of tune farm tractor that wants to stop running typical Ford dumpster
Cool that these came with 351 Cleveland
And with a Porsche G40 I believe 5 speed, all with adaptations so the transmission bell housing couldmatch the 351 Cleveland block.
I can’t stop looping this.
What you're hearing is none other than a 351 Cleveland.
Most definitely
How to leave a car show like a responsible adult! LOL
When I was a kid all my friends had posters of Ferraris, lamborghinis and Porsches on their walls. I had the 427Ac cobra, GT40 and Pantera.
You know the Pantera is an Italian car?
@@robbetts Yes. Your point?
@@AlbeeSoaring Apologies, I thought the point was obvious. I thought you were saying that on your wall was American race cars where everyone else had Italian and German exotics. Yet, the Pantera itself is in fact an Italian exotic. 🤷♂ No big deal, I was just letting you know.
@robbetts nope. I love cars in general. The Pantera is a Italian car with American muscle. The cobra and GT40 have always been my absolute favorite though cause I got to rise in each as a kid. I finally got to ride in a Pantera years later. All three of those cars are no nonsense cars. No bells or whistles just straight performance.
@@AlbeeSoaring Yeah, I've always loved the GT40 and the whole story behind it. Amazing vehicle. I drove a Pantera in Vegas at a car show that I was showing in. Dude only wanted $25,000 for it and I heard that it went for $18k. It wasn't perfect but most of what it needed, anyone could do. And, this was back in 2014 when cars like this weren't going for big money and the Pantera itself wasn't in favor like it is today. Needless to say, I wish I had snagged it and it was restored and sitting in my garage right now. But, live and learn.
Same sound as Mad Max's Falcon Interceptor because it's the same engine 351 Cleveland.
Diffrent cams, different tones at top end.
Kinda liked Kowalski's Dodge🎶
@@bulldogg117yeah and every car will slightly differ in sound even if it’s the exact same it’ll have its own personality of sound
That massive blower certainly added some uniqueness to the Interceptor though!
@@smgdfcmfah you mean, the Pursuit Special!
351 Ford, my speaker doesn't do it justice!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
That Cleveland rumble
Gonna be that guy: they don’t growl like that these days
My dad had a friend that owned one. I remember him leaving the house and leaving two black black stripes behind him. The neighbors weren't too please but you couldn't scrub the smiles off the faces of dad and I 😎
Neighbours must love him
351 with Italian exhaust system
What a stunning beauty
GORGEOUS CAR...glorious exhaust notes 😎👌
My man's butt is like 4 inches off the ground! 😆 Sounds sooooo good!
I want one so bad.
Of I had to pick a mid engine classic this would be the one
That car is Hell on Wheels
Beautiful car! Miss mine!
I miss mine as well
a Ferrari for the poor, my neighbor run a Ford garage in Germany, he offered boring cars, one day he showed up with a Pantera for his own use, great days
Other V8s sound like an angry Hugh Grant.
Clevelands sound like satan waking up in the morning without coffee and cigarettes.
My favorite engine of all time, I’ve got 2 on an engine stand right now, and I’m in the process of building a 302 with Cleveland heads
@@LegionGamingTV if you're aiming for over 500hp change the firing order from 15 to 13.
Hell yeah! They should have called it a Hyperstang ! 🔥💪🇺🇸
The Sound of America (from the coolest of the Italian cars)
Sounds like my grandma's Cadillac with a broken muffler.
Your grandma was rocking!
did ur grandma selling that cadillac? asking for a friend
I love these cars, one day it will be my retirement gift to myself.
I love that they have popup lights
Obra de arte
That car is a masterpiece
Dimebag is my favourite guitarist of all time.

Are you talking to me ?
@@Fred_NaughT no way punk!
It's too bad they didn't run it up in rpm's! The 351C would rev almost as high as the 289 and the sound is SWEET! 😍
Such a misunderstood motor that was made for a short run, for the replacement 351W to lose half the hp by 1978 😡
Bellissima....non la cambierei con 1000 auto odierne
351 Cleveland baby!! Stock heads flow more than a LS and they were built in the 70s
The width on those tires is crazy lol she must run pretty good to need such big grippy tired
345's
10 pelo som. 2 pela filmagem!
Sweet 😊😊😊
Awsom car they were one of my favorite cars n the lamborghini
You don’t see a lot of cars like that in Colorado! Good snag.
Small block Ford has that Pantera singing...
Still better looking than a Huracan or an Aventador
Mow the lawn, Pantera!
😂 cornholio approved !
351 cleveland. 👍👍👍😄😄😄
Espetacular 🌟
Geez Axel it’s Australian muscle . Respect we made the engines in Melbourne !!!
The Clevelands were made in Australia? Never knew that 🤔
the windsor 351 motors were australian.
@@SamotoParts-tr5ks and were aluminum right? Clevelands are steel?
@@stephenmartinez6359 as far as im aware there were no differences. One made in usa one made in Australia
@@stephenmartinez6359after the u.s stopped yes
Nothing like an old school American V8
amazing!
She's Italian American
RIP Tim Horton
Dream car
NICE!
Same body weight as a 1976 MG MGB with a 351 Cleveland V8.....a very Staunch Car.
I got a 302 on my 66 econoline im going make sound like that lol 😂 i aint kidding
I'm wondering how they keep the front tires on the ground
The Italian styling is incredible, weird the sound is the same as a standard muscle car, wonder if anyone has dropped a proper Italian V8 in one before ?
When I win the lotto!!!
Sounds a lot like an early to mid 70s Ford pickup with a three on the tree!
Wow that’s is a nice car
i knew that reminded me more of my dads mustang than a pantera lol
NICE HOT ROD.
😂it sounds surere it u ask me😂
I done dragrace 4' twenty-five years I may have some damidge during years❤
That’s a 351 clevo sound
Super machine 😊
I like those rims... Idky the sound of the engine reminds me of a boat eith a v8
Nothing beats a Ford engine!!!
351 Cleveland 4v closed chamber heads running canted big block valves. FIA let this car run. NASCAR outlawed the engine. Ford had to run 2v heads, thank you Chevy.
Its moded but with good tastw
Лучшего еще не было
A 351C cammed to he!! and back.
Sounds like a truck 😂
beautiufl song
Sounds good but not the best
That ain't a stock Cleveland 351! ❤

Sounds familiar…
Like a Ford GT40
Sounds great
It’s a ford
There’s a fucking truck under that frame.
That is a 351 cleaveland, in the 70's the Pantera could do 10sec 1/4 mile and some could top 200mph
It was one bad hombrea
Oh yeah:) amazing sound
I like the ducktail spoiler, is it made of aluminum?
That woman at the end wanted to ride you...err...I mean your car.
