I was ragged, bullied and isolated in college again and again and no one even shared notes with me , when I would go to library everyone would mock me so I would go from there, I could hardly study but my illiterate mother told me to somehow complete the college and go learn things in job, but even after changing so many offices, no one was ready to teach me, they would all point out how my design skills as an architectural student had not developed and they also bullied, ragged and made fun of me in their offices. Now, after 20 years I have finally understood that I would never able to make my place in this line because all they do is bully, ragg and never let a person develop. I'm traumatized and sadly after being harassed and mistreated all my life at home and in marriage also. I have broken down and will never be able to come out of this. Just wanna say, all the people involved in this till now are General categories. I know because Im a bengali. Both the victim and the alleges perpetrators apprehended till now have been GCs. So caste discrimination doesn't come into question. Also bengal and bengali society might have many problems but caste discrimination isn't them. Ragging is a crime. It should not be taken leniently. The court should send a memorandum of rules to all the educational institutions to get it signed by the parents and students. As per the clause then such students should be tried.
The man who is the prime accused his face should be shown. People deserve to know who he is and stay away from him.
Reveal the name of the culprit the whole world should know who he is ....Ragging should be stopped because it leads to serious consequences

I was very scare to send my son to hostel for the first time because we very often get to hear about ragging and its outcome.

Show the picture of the main accused 22 years old student. He is not juvenlie, don't be afraid to shout out his name and post his picture on social media.

Each year hundreds of students suicide or mentally disturbed because of this Ragging
I wanted to write a long comment on this, but i'm so disgusted by them that i don't even find worthwhile to waste my time thinking about those scoundrels.
How fragile must your masculinity be to strip someone naked and then forcing upon the victim that he's gay.
Strict anti-ragging laws need to be instituted.

I was ragged, bullied and isolated in college again and again and no one even shared notes with me , when I would go to library everyone would mock me so I would go from there, I could hardly study but my illiterate mother told me to somehow complete the college and go learn things in job, but even after changing so many offices, no one was ready to teach me, they would all point out how my design skills as an architectural student had not developed and they also bullied, ragged and made fun of me in their offices. Now, after 20 years I have finally understood that I would never able to make my place in this line because all they do is bully, ragg and never let a person develop. I'm traumatized and sadly after being harassed and mistreated all my life at home and in marriage also. I have broken down and will never be able to come out of this. In fact, I am thinking that it would have been best that my mother would not have forced me to even enter a college because I was never even allowed to breathe or live or educate or make my life better.
So ragging ruins you and people only take that and hurt you more. You can never come out of bullying, ragging, I'm a living example, even if I cried out about it,grieved about it,whenever I would return to work people would always cling to bullying and ragging me.

There are many terrible things i went through, very shameful which i cant tell as a woman, i also wish i would have killed myself at that time only , because even after all these years i dont only carry that pain but also the pain i went through because of it after so many years.

@@lionelmessithegoatLM10 as I said we never heal from ragging and in a small world like architecture, everyone knows everything and i was ragged and bullied, wherever I went people knew I was harrassed and they harrassed more, I never gave up and now I am finally broken.

A cousin of our family, refused attending to uni because they were getting ragged so badly. He was in a medical uni. I don’t know how it turned out, but people not being able to control themselves and mind their own business is a problem.
When you see problematic behavior in a child, correct them. Don’t fucking spoil them going ‘aww, he’s just a child’. My cousin sister is like that, she had a terrible personality problems as a kid. Her parents were too scared to correct her. And she’s terrible now as well.
I feel bad for the kids in her class. She’s good with us though. She’s a perfect bully, I am sad the adults in our family can’t see it. When I tell my mom about it, she goes “what are you talking about, are you mad, shut up. She’s a kid she’ll grow up alright. That’s nothing to worry. She’s a very outgoing child, she’s active.”
I don’t even like to be near her though she treats me okay. Other kid’s parents had complained the teacher about her being too stressful for them. I don’t understand how her mom is so unresponsive about it. These type of children grow up to be shit like that.

Hazing (ragging) is ingrained in the culture of Jadavpur University. This has been going on for decades. Cheating in exams is also deeply ingrained in the culture there. Smoking ganja and drinking alcohol openly on campus after sunset is so normal there.
God blessed that I didn't go to jadavpur university
