Blimey, you mean you've now got a third wagon! BTW, I love idea of the relay box in the parking bay, nice touch! Does it represent specialist metal thieves' abandonment or just general fly tipping?
Ha! 2 of those wagons is plenty, £40 each for what has to be a wagon that loves bouncing off the track if sat in a rake longer than 2 lol. Funnily enough that relay box is sat in the carpark in the real place, odd considering there's heaps of room the other side of the fence 😆
@@thescrapline4905 Isn't real life stranger than fiction! Perhaps it was planned as a pay and display ticket machine point but the construction team mixed up the plans! They are starting to make decent rolling stock now that Dapol and Accurascale are forcing their hands. Top work though, fantastic modelling across the layout, a pleasure to view.
@@theeventhorizon-valebridge9512 one possibility is part of the carpark closest to the running lines did have a siding which ran close to that brewery building for loading and unloading of railway goods. That relay box was most likely on the right side of the fence until the track layout was dramatically changed in the mid 80s and the carpark extended closer to the mainlines and that box left as it was. But yep wagon detailing is now so much better. These clay hoods are a kernow edition, great as they are with detail they're so light they hate curves and leap off the track, hard to open up and add weight so they run as a single pair or the rear of a full speedlink rake.
Still a fair amount of editing to do as every clip will have dubbed over real sound and that takes some work to get the timings right. Should be later next week.
Not yet Fred. The layout will be dismantled in the new year with a house move being done summer next year. Tables have shifted massively since I announced moving late last year. We've been given an opportunity to buy a house so the days of renting are over finally and is a total ease of mind knowing there's no limit on what I can do next when we finally move. This will all happen next summer but I want to call it a day on this layout later this year and focus on the big up coming changes of lifestyle as the move will be a totally different area.. Wales lol.
