I'm so glad you are thriving after such a horrific ordeal but I had esophageal cancer and unlike your pretty self, I'm ugly, older (49) and bald and it has been Hell. The chemo left me with nerve damage so bad they may have to remove my arms! And I am going blind in my left eye. These videos are encouraging but they do not paint a completely accurate picture of the hellacious damage that chemotherapy and endless medications can and often do to us mortals! I am also full of rage and anger and have been in a fist fight that landed me in jail for 24 hours because I was so angry about my cancer experience. I am finally in therapy and have an awesome family support system, but my God! What a brutal monster throat and stomach cancer is! Thank you so much for telling your story. I’m about to embark on this journey. I had breast cancer 20 years ago. but now, my latest CAT scan that I had after entering the ER showed inflammation of my esophagus and I know that something is going on in my stomach because I can feel it. Thank you for sharing your cancer journey Brittany. So happy to hear your cancer free. I am NED at the moment and extremely grateful as well. Wishing you a lifetime of good health and love❤.
I wish you the absolute best and a long life! On another note: I know that it's in vogue for all vegetables to be eaten raw, or half-raw because it is said that they have more nutrients than cooked vegetables. I have a sensitive stomach and uncooked vegetables land in my stomach like a massive explosion. On the other hand, cooked vegetables soothe my stomach. Just thought I'd mention that.
You look great and so happy that you are cancer free 👍😊 I can’t write much because I will start to cry 😭 Our 7 ye old son was diagnosed with cancer osteosarcoma we were devastated we were thrown into a university hospital in California 🌴 and they told us it was cancer 😭😭😞💔 we also had a 6 yr old daughter🎀 they were both in the playroom and we walked the pediatric floor cancer and I had an anxiety attack from hell seeing babies with cancer all the way to teenagers the doctors came running and they gave me a shot 😮 I started having awful thoughts and it was a rough 3 yrs

I had Hodgkin lymphoma two years ago which was advanced. I’m in remission but still find myself with some anxiety about recurrence. But I look forward not backward. Good luck to you, Brittany.
@ I agree 100%. I was septic after my first chemo and was very sick. At the time I was unaware but later I was having real terror at how close I was to dying.
I had gastritis last year caused by H.Pylori. I had endoscopy 2 times and also I had an antibiotic regime 2 times within a year, and I was on Nexium for almost 7 months. I have just recently started feeling recovered. But this patient's story gave me anxiety.
What were your symptoms for Gastritis? Did the endoscopy show the h pylori? I tested positive for Sibo and did the antibiotics, I've been having really bad reflux issues and LPR. I did feel a little better after I finished the antibiotics for the sibo but I'm going to get tested for h pylori because I really do think I have it. I've lost weight/hard to gain weight. I keep having vitamin d deficiency and magnesium. This video definitely made me nervous 😢😢
@@CelesteBri@CelesteBri I had constant nausea that lasted 3 weeks. Then, I visited the doctor. Endoscopy revealed the gastritis and showed h. pylori positive result. I started the 14-day antibiotic treatment. The nausea was gone after the treatment, and then I thought it was healed. I had reflux frequently for 6 months, then one day I had severe pain and bloating in my stomach, it lasted 1 week. I revisited the doctor and had another endoscopy. This time It was pangastritis, inflammation was all over the stomach and tested positive for h. pylori again. Then I started another antibiotic regime but this time I used different types of antibiotics because I learned that h. pylori was resistant to the antibiotics that I used first. After the second antibiotic regime, I used anti-acid pills for 6-7 months. Now I am feeling ok.

Bless your heart. That's sincere. I have some swallowing issues, issues with my esophagus. so now I'm wondering if that means I should be checked out for cancer? Food gets stuck and I have to go sit away from the table and wait for the food to pass down my esophagus. It is an awful feeling. Thank you for your honest discussion of your disease. You are a beautiful girl, obviously inside and out!
Yes, you should definitely get checked. You could have a stricture in the esophagus. There are many benign causes for this feeling. Best to see a GI doctor.
I’m in the uk. I have gone through similar experience. Made me laugh at you jumping on the bed for surgery. I did that! I lost my whole stomach plus 42 or 44 nodes. I can so relate to your story . All the best
My husband was diagnosed with Adeno carcinoma of the GE junction. His first symptoms were Acid reflux and difficulty swallowing. And one day he choked at the table. Endoscopy revealed a stage 4 diagnosis. He was given palliative chemo only. He passed away after 25 months. He was 67 only.
The choking was not caused by the cancer. The tumor was so tiny and only at the bottom of my stomach. It wasn't blocking anything. I think i choked because I was stressed, had tight neck muscles and was in a rush!
So happy for you that all went well. Matthew 11:28-29 "28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Jesus Christ from Nazareth ❤
I was diagnosed with lung cancer (nonsmoker and young) and being monitored with other stable nodules. I would love to know what form of therapy helped the most since you tried so many…was EMDR helpful? Thank you for sharing your story, Brittany. Wishing you continued good health!!
Thank you. EMDR was very helpful, but I think spirtual healing was the most helpful. Opening up my mind to the universe! I read books from Joe Despenza and Bob Proctor. It totally changed the way I perceive our reality..
@@BrittanyDefenderfer I really appreciate your reply. I have heard of Joe Despenza and am now curious about Bob Proctor as well. I will definitely look them up. Thank you, Brittany.❤
I it's a good point about more guidance for aftercare . It sound like you were forced to develop good eating habits that we should all be practicing regardless because it will catch up with us all eventually!
So educational is this story. I am surprised that no nutritionist tells you about the fruits and stomach cancer, they don’t like each other. All the best. You are so smart, eloquent and pretty!
I am at the beginning of this journey. I don’t have the cancer diagnosis at this time. My doctors are very suspicious and I am scheduled for biopsies and testing BUT I’ve been put on hold for the past few weeks due to multiple blood clots in my lungs. Things were touch and go but now on blood thinners for 6 mos- I’m not sure if they’ll proceed with the biopsies. The clots aren’t all gone or done forming. I feel the impending doom of a diagnosis because of the urgency of all of my doctors who are in different specialties. All saying the same thing- let’s remove your stomach. I’ve already lost 35 lbs in the past 6 mos without trying. I can’t imagine the work it takes to keep up the nutrition once the stomach is removed. Thank you for sharing your journey!!!!
I apologize if this is a duplicate comment but my original one just evaporated. I am about to embark on this journey. I had breast cancer 20 years ago and I know what you mean because any kind of cancer ends up being a part-time job and sometimes a full-time job. I went to the ER recently because I thought I was having a diverticulitis attack, but my CAT scan showed that that wasn’t the case. It did show inflammation of the esophagus. I happen to know that somethings going on because my stomach has just not been right for a long time, and I have been to several gastroenterologist to no avail. I am having an endoscopy in a couple of weeks and I am very scared. You were a young beautiful girl with your whole life ahead of you. I am older, but I was just getting to the point where I thought I might be enjoying grandchildren I hope to follow your story and that it just shows continued good health
Why people are obsessed that an ordinary vaccine that saves you from dying of Covid is somehow responsible for giving people cancer, is just beyond me....
And panic by itself,is a life long” heavy load” by itself……adding it to the cancer…….2 together……only self healing could work. Very few understand panic.
I am so happy for you. I found out 6 months ago I carry a gene mutation CDH1 which increases the risk of lobular breast cancer and hereditary diffuse gastric cancer. My sister died 3 years ago from HDGC. People with this mutation usually get the gastric cancer before age 38. I am 62. The only thing someone can do is to have total gastrectomy prophylactically. I don't want this so I will be worrying. It is fantastic that it was found at stage 1. I would say to keep up with checkups and how you feel generally. I have been doing medical transcription for 25 years and have read so much about gastric cancer. You said yours was not genetic. I am so sorry this happened to you.
Thank you. I hope you have a good team that specializes in the CDH1 mutation. I just attended a conference about this. Thankfully, with annual surveillance via endoscopy, no one with this mutation has gone on yo develop a late stage stomach cancer. And the good news is the % of stomach cancer developing is much lower than previously thought. Stay vigilant!
I was just told that my stomach lining cells have changed. Basically they said it was precancerous. And...see you in a year!! What? I was then told that was normal! Is it? I’m not sure if I should change my diet or...? What to do. My maternal grandmother died of stomach cancer. It was in 1959. I’m 66 yrs old soooo? 🦋💗🙏
My advice....find a different doctor. My gastroenterologist told me I had IBS and needed a psychiatrist appointment when I lost 22 pounds in 2 weeks. Within 48 hours, I was having a necrotic gallbladder removed. My surgeon said I had hours before sepsis occurred. Needless to say, it wasn't IBS nor did I need a psychiatrist but I think he did.
I would suggest getting genetic testing for certain. Stomach cancer can have a genetic mutations associated with it. It's not uncommon to have inflammation in the stomach lining. That can heal. It's when it doesn't heal that cancer can develop over years and years. Just be vigilant and have a follow up in a year!
Thank you for this video. Your diligence helped you get this tumor removed when it was still stage I. I was treated at MSK for breast cancer and think the world of them. I wish you a life free of cancer. Oh - I’m a Boomer and have always been high anxiety, as have many of my Boomer friends. I think every generation is filled with anxiety, especially these days.
Im sorry about your diagnosis but hapy for yor postive outcome. Im curious if you ab+ blood type? Also, as far as my knowledge, h. Pylori is an ulcer causing bacteria that is known to cause cancer. Wishig you a healthy journey. ❤
@BrittanyDefenderfer I was asking because ab+ blood type is known for being sscetbe to stomach cancer. Also, look into alkaline water and foods. I'm saying this because cancer feeds on acidity, so if you make your body less acid, it can slow the process. Baking soda water helps with acidity almost instantly. Ask your doctors advice on this before trying pleaae. I really hope this helps with this natural alternative. 💕 many blessings and healing vibes to you.
But a good doctor should have been able to put 2 and 2… the choking multiple times plus gerd plus h pylori/ukcer diagnosis to run further test for depression me serious going on in your esophagus and stomach 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Did you know, the greyhounds are the donors for all dogs?🤗✝️ I learned that when I worked at an animal hospital and thank you for taking the precious animal and.😂

My husband diagnosed with signet ring stage 3b stomach cancer 2011 ,had total gastrectomy he has been given all clear , his weight dropped from 90kilo to 57kilo now ,he can eat basically anything than suffers horrendous bile acid reflux. unfortunately about a month ago his legs started to swallow after tests ,scans etc. diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma of his right kidney (3cm)
He had his surgery last week(keyhole) they are removing his stitches On Monday ,he feels great again we have the appointment with surgeons again in 3 weeks ,but his swollen feet(ankles) back to normal size. I will ask the surgeons if this new cancer could be related to the stomach cancer, thank you.
I am curious to know if you had to take the jab? There is an epidemic of turbo cancers happening in young people since the jab rolled out...not to mention the heart problems. It baffles my mind how many beautiful young women, like yourself, are being diagnosed with all kinds of cancers. My heart goes out to you, stay away from GMOs, go organic and do the best you can, cause that is all we can do. Vejon Health on youtube has a lot of amazing info about the rise in cancers that are happening now. We do not live in an honest world where you can find the real information we need to deal with illness. Goodluck everyone.
Look up Gerd disease! (barrett's esophagus). It's basically acid reflux, that causes inflammation of the lining of the stomach, and changes the ph of the esophagus, basically ure throat becomes like ure stomach very acidic, thus creating cancer in the long run. H. pylori was your first symptom and having have acid reflux created all those damages in the stomach lining...leading to chocking then cancer. I know because I have all these issues i am 40 now and have been suffering with GERD for a few years now. I never had h. pylori but I had acid reflux all the time, and being on the PPI's really gave me severe stomach pain... I had to get off them. be careful with those meds. I suggest a change of diet to really help. I find its the only way to get relief. Im glad you are better now, and thank you for sharing your story with us!
Hi! Could you please share what kind of diet changes you have done? Also, have you tried other medications? I have had acid reflux for a long time and had trouble swallowing foods. I am currently on medication which has helped with the swallowing foods but I still have acid reflux symptoms.

Thank you for sharing your cancer journey Brittany. So happy to hear your cancer free. I am NED at the moment and extremely grateful as well. Wishing you a lifetime of good health and love❤.
amazing to hear this!
You are an amazing person. I admire your stamina. I am also extremely happy that you survived!!🕉
🙏❤️
Thank you for sharing your story. I wish you all the best!
God bless you and so happy for you from me here in Florida!❤
I wish you the absolute best and a long life! On another note: I know that it's in vogue for all vegetables to be eaten raw, or half-raw because it is said that they have more nutrients than cooked vegetables. I have a sensitive stomach and uncooked vegetables land in my stomach like a massive explosion. On the other hand, cooked vegetables soothe my stomach. Just thought I'd mention that.
Bless you!! Prayers your body stays healthy for years to come. ❤❤❤
Stay strong ...Thanks for sharing
Incredibly lucky to have found it at stage 1!! 🎉🎉🎉 I'm stage 4 ge junction with liver met... wish me luck too 🤞🤞🤞
Im so sorry to hear this. I do wish you complete healing. ❤
Thanks for sharing your story sweetheart ❤
So sorry to hear about your children. Sending you love and strength. ❤
I hope you are able to live your life to the fullest without any Chemo or further cancer
🙏🙏
Very informative! TY!
This channel and it's exploratory teaching has been a major drive for me as I give back 50% of my monthly earning ($32,000) to the sick old ones in my neighborhood. God bless America 🇺🇸
God bless you more abundantly for your generosity
But how do you earn that much monthly? I'm genuinely curious
Big thanks to Kathleen Mary Vella

I had Hodgkin lymphoma two years ago which was advanced. I’m in remission but still find myself with some anxiety about recurrence. But I look forward not backward. Good luck to you, Brittany.
The mental aspects of cancer are almost worse than the physical. I hope we both continue to move forward and live a cancer free, long life! ❤
we wish you both healthy futures!
IMO you should have an endoscopy regularly from now on, just to keep an eye on things and make sure you catch anything early....

My daughter said the same advocate for yourself maybe anxiousness is what gives us strength to advocate for ourselves.
Wow, what an experience. High intensity exercise also helps fight cancer… And no stress.
Waiting for my stomach biopsy results. This could be a strong possibility for me. I have a lot of these symptoms.
I definitely hope the biospy is negative for cancer. 🙏🙏
🙏🪽🥰😇 gracias por contar tú historia y eres una mujer muy valiente 🪽

I’m in the uk. I have gone through similar experience. Made me laugh at you jumping on the bed for surgery. I did that! I lost my whole stomach plus 42 or 44 nodes. I can so relate to your story . All the best
Wow! How are you doing now?
Advocating for yourself is looking on the net and seeking others who may have similar issues.
Thank you for your story and I wish you well. Was the choking a fluke that brought you to the doctors or did it happen because of the cancer?
My husband was diagnosed with Adeno carcinoma of the GE junction. His first symptoms were Acid reflux and difficulty swallowing. And one day he choked at the table. Endoscopy revealed a stage 4 diagnosis. He was given palliative chemo only. He passed away after 25 months. He was 67 only.
😢so sorry 4 your loss@@gulshankwatra2841
@@gulshankwatra2841🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Yes it wasn't clear, as choking on food or the that feeling it 'went down the wrong way' is common and happens often. . .
The choking was not caused by the cancer. The tumor was so tiny and only at the bottom of my stomach. It wasn't blocking anything. I think i choked because I was stressed, had tight neck muscles and was in a rush!
Thank you for sharing ❤
So happy for you that all went well.
Matthew 11:28-29
"28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Jesus Christ from Nazareth ❤
God saved your life, He just used the surgeon to do it. Congratulations on your recovery
Our family has also had rescued greyhounds. No better dog❤
Hi there. Sorry to hear of your medical issues. Hopefully your medical team can come up with answers asap. 🙏
Thank you for sharing
My sister just got diagnosed with stomach cancer can I get name of your dr you did your surgery 😢
Best Wishes dear. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
God Bless you! Were you vaxed?! There is an incredible uptick in colon, lung & stomach cancer among young people...
Why people are obsessed that an ordinary vaccine that saves you from dying of Covid is somehow responsible for giving people cancer, is just beyond me....
I'm thinking yes, she's a nurse?! These turbo cancers are getting crazy last few years🤷😡 I hope our new administration will actually look into it.
🙄
I so agree with TUPELO_HUNNY. Find another doctor - soon.
They are the best! I recommend everyone go to them when dealing with cancer! Even if just for a consult.
@@BrittanyDefenderfer Thank you! I agree, except for people closer to MD Anderson.
Im sorry about your diagnosis but hapy for yor postive outcome. Im curious if you ab+ blood type? Also, as far as my knowledge, h. Pylori is an ulcer causing bacteria that is known to cause cancer. Wishig you a healthy journey. ❤
I am type O+ blood
@BrittanyDefenderfer I was asking because ab+ blood type is known for being sscetbe to stomach cancer. Also, look into alkaline water and foods. I'm saying this because cancer feeds on acidity, so if you make your body less acid, it can slow the process. Baking soda water helps with acidity almost instantly. Ask your doctors advice on this before trying pleaae. I really hope this helps with this natural alternative. 💕 many blessings and healing vibes to you.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻sweetie
H. Pylori is not benign, it's often involved with stomach cancer.
❤❤❤
But a good doctor should have been able to put 2 and 2… the choking multiple times plus gerd plus h pylori/ukcer diagnosis to run further test for depression me serious going on in your esophagus and stomach 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Did you know, the greyhounds are the donors for all dogs?🤗✝️ I learned that when I worked at an animal hospital and thank you for taking the precious animal and.😂
Greyhounds ???!!! The donor to all dogs ????!!!! So are u saying my pure breed blue nose pitbul is from a greyhound ????!!!!??? Where does this even come from ?😅

My husband diagnosed with signet ring stage 3b stomach cancer 2011 ,had total gastrectomy he has been given all clear , his weight dropped from 90kilo
to 57kilo now ,he can eat basically anything than suffers horrendous bile acid reflux.
unfortunately about a month ago his legs started to swallow after tests ,scans etc. diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma of his right kidney (3cm)
❤
He had his surgery last week(keyhole) they are removing his stitches
On Monday ,he feels great again we have the appointment with surgeons
again in 3 weeks ,but his swollen feet(ankles) back to normal size.
I will ask the surgeons if this new cancer could be related to the stomach
cancer,thank you.
@@ninacalvo8823Hoping for good news at the appointment!

Still H.pylori positive when diagnosed?
No! Which is crazy!
What do you think led to your disease. .?
Stress and H Pylori.
What a beautiful lady, except for the whole Yankees thing.
😅
I am curious to know if you had to take the jab? There is an epidemic of turbo cancers happening in young people since the jab rolled out...not to mention the heart problems. It baffles my mind how many beautiful young women, like yourself, are being diagnosed with all kinds of cancers. My heart goes out to you, stay away from GMOs, go organic and do the best you can, cause that is all we can do. Vejon Health on youtube has a lot of amazing info about the rise in cancers that are happening now. We do not live in an honest world where you can find the real information we need to deal with illness. Goodluck everyone.

Picturing yourself eating a burger(veggie)…so what and fries!!…finally you start eating properly..
