@@tedarcher9120 yes and no. Planned walking is more aligned with exercise (low intensity cardio) while just moving around and getting up rather than laying down is definitely neat. The issue when we train a lot can be that we subconsciously choose not to get up and about as much as a way of energy conservation if that makes sense.
@@papafituae I don't think walking counts as exercise unless planned on a treadmill or something. Just parking further away can increase Neat considerably
@@papafituae The biggest problem with high intensity cardio is they you are way hungrier afterwards and you think you can eat a lot because you trained a lot, even though you've probably burned one hamburger bun in an hour
@@tedarcher9120 been there haha. Went on a 5km run, burned like 400 calories and then ate a 1000 cal breakfast on the way home. It really is a tough process
NEAT is mostly walking and sitting down/standing up
