Nope nope nope! We have had over 14 lessons that anime should never be adapted to the big screen with live action, we don't need another one! But if we have to, it should be with actors like James Marsters who understood the legacy of it and fought hard to preserve it.
@@gregoryo4417 There are plenty of good anime adaptation. But none if it made by hollywood. Rurouni Kenshin live actions were a good example. Edge of Tomorrow was great manga adaptation, but it's because the makers only adapt the concept and make their own story around it while staying true to the concept. Hollywood have the tendencies to ignore the source material and make their own concept and story.
@@potiguaya5201 Oh don't get me wrong, there have been good adaptations for manga and anime. There have been faithful ones by studios (Alita is probably the best example) and great adaptations that some don't even know about (There were actually two live action Dragon Ball movies before Evolution, and they were honestly pretty funny and good). I probably should have mentioned this and explained in more detail. What I mean is that anime and manga in their respective mediums work great, and animated movies and adaptations usually turn out alright if the fans want to see them brought to life. The problem is for every Alita, we get five Evolutions, and studios are still trying to figure it out now, since Cowboy Bebop isn't exactly doing all that well. The main issue is that Hollywood for the most part focusses on sales and figures rather than faithful adaptations, and there are hardly any companies other than Hollywood to try it and do it right anymore (remember those DB movies I mentioned earlier? They were made before the 2000s and at least one of them was illegal to produce due to not owning the rights, even if it was more accurate). Please forgive me for what I said, but what I am trying to say is that it is very, very rare that we will get anime movies that learn from the mistakes of the ones before in order to become great. And if Death Note 2 is still green lit and can be good on its own, I will send you a letter of apology. Sorry for all of that, have a great day.
I think if they were going to even attempt DBZ again. It should be a very high budget tv series. On prime or something like that. Not saying they should, but that would be ideal. Don't cram everything into a 2 hr movie.

Can we talk about how Disney just showed how to actually bend the elements in live action? Shang-chi and the Legend of the Avatar.
^^ well, air and water only.
Metal bending too if you consider the rings to be made out of metal lol
Yes yes yes! Now this is the real live action bending! Not some lame dance in the movie that doesn't exist 😅
@@alwari527 there is no movie in ba sing se 🤨
“This could have been an email” is IHMO the best joke of the series so far
Just when you think you’ve seen every piece of MCU footage! Now I have to look for more scenes that are specific to Chinese releases!
You are a better script writer than most current Hollywood writers...

They can't make an honest trailer for a movie which hasn't been realesed in Blu-ray,dvd etc

I love that casting joke at the end.
Never change, Marvel. Never change.
Actually, I'd like to see some change, these MCU films are getting a bit stale.
@@drafezard7315 wanna see Sammo Hung in a Marvel movie? 😏😏
@@drafezard7315 I heard they’ll make Doctor Strange 2 a horror movie so I guess that’ll be fun
@@oliverdelica2289 Well, if its Samo Hung, im in. Ma man has real move within that body. Don't need any stuntman. Yeah, let that sink in
This movie is living proof though that with the right people, a Hollywood live-action DragonBall movie *COULD* actually work.
The risks are too high son. Another Dragon Ball Evolution could kill me and many others.
🤣

*Why won't you do an honest trailer for "Idiocracy"? That **-movie-** documentary definitely deserves its own honest trailer!*
I agree 1000%
I think Idiocracy was the Honest Trailer of America's future. It's hard to make fun of someone who's already making fun of themselves.
@@Bannock78 I can't argue with that.
Because America might fall into The Great Depression 2: Electric Boohooo from the truths
It promotes eugenics.
It reminded me a lot of Black panther. (hidden world with cultural nods), a guy running around using technology. A bad guy with a special arm.
y'know, out of all the Marvel CGI 3rd act final showdowns, this is definitely their best one. something about it just oozes style and anime.
I was hoping the dragon would appear and then rayquaza show up, it was awesome
Dragon was so badass
Yeah at least there wasn’t a sky beam
But, honestly, Wenwu is a great villain. Something rare in the MCU.

Bus fight scene is best part in this movie.
Would love to see an honest trailer for the tv show Galavant. The roasting of the botched marketing would be epic to hear along with everything about the 2 seasons.
“ONE PUNCH MANCHILD!!”😂😂😂
“Seems CONVENIENT “ 😂 -so true! I can’t believe I didn’t make that connection!
YEEEESSSS!!!! They referenced Kim’s Convenience!!! So gooooood. It really was the perfect showcase for what they wanted in Shang chi. Wasn’t surprised in the least when they chose jung. Still sore that the creators dropped kind so abruptly!! I’m fine with shows ending. But it was so stark and the actors and fans were so ready for more
Oh man do I love this movie. It’s so good on so many levels. Can’t wait to see more Shang-Chi in the MCU!
Seriously! I feel like Wong is essentially become the new Nick Fury.
“Mr. Stark you’ve just become part of a bigger universe. You just don’t know it yet.”
“I know that this is a lot to take in, but you’re both gonna have to start getting used to that. From now on, the trajectory of your lives will be nothing like you’ve ever experienced before. And there’s no going back.”
Just give him an eyepatch to go with his goatee and that’ll be it.
Makes sense that it's either him or Strange becoming the new glue of Phase 4, since it's multiverse shenanigans all around.
I'm just glad they kept some stuff out of the trailers. That's why I don't mind this big CGI fight, because we weren't warned about it.
Tony Leung is really the star of this movie. Hoping the sister gets more screen time later.

Super mad facts, bro, this is super true!
I do, have always, and continue to think that two massive animated dragons fighting is cool and no one can ever tell me that's wrong!
This was not what I was expecting of an honest trailer
But I’m glad it’s what we got
My favourite part of the movie was, that the mother didn't do her job and therefore threatened the end of the world
"We knew only the ten rings could destroy the seal", grandma
25 years b4, oh there's an evil guy with ten rings and he's way weaker than me. But I won't take the rings and store them away for all eternity, cuz then there would be no movie
Well, in her defense the evil guys was pretty hot.
This is the best thing to come out of Phase 4 MCU so far.....that's not that hard to do.
The fact they was able to add Pokemon, the dragon from spirited away and a monster from Godzilla monsterverse made this movie sooo much more awesome!
