What a wonderful Q&A! I appreciate your honesty and encouragement. My husband and I have been married 34 years this past July. We also have one daughter. If you recognize me from Family Bible Time, you’ll remember Ive asked for prayer for her several times.
We have never suffered miscarriages but we’ve suffered month after month, year after year of never having a second child. It’s even more painful that the one child we do have is not walking w the Lord, never was, and mostly estranged from us.
My husband didnt have trouble w God’s sovereignty but I did and still do at times. It can be a weekly struggle. Im a bit of a hard head so to even get to where I am, Im doing well. Ha.
    God bless you!

This session has has been a blessing to my personal walk with the Lord beyond what I can express. I plan to share it with my brothers and sisters in Christ and my husband, my daughter, my siblings and loved ones. Thank you and I praise God for your humble transparency in all you shared. Where would any of us sinners be without Christ and his work to justify us and enable sanctification in us in response to His mercy and our union with Him! God bless you all from Texas. ❤🙏

Happy 30th wedding anniversary to you and your bride Pastor Tom🙏🏿May God continue to bless your union with grace and peace.
Hubby and I watched with joy🤩 Tell Donna I truly enjoyed her not wanting to speak ill of you with her colleagues at work and the ladies in her old church kitchen. This truly blessed me along with the other wealth of encouragement and love you both shared. We’re still newlyweds with a little over a year here in Texas, an older couple, yet we both know, without God at the center of our marriage it is doomed to failure! Appreciate your transparency♥️😀

Congratulations again and happy anniversary dear Pastor Tom and Donna. May God bless and keep you both by His grace and mercy. This was such a blessing indeed, so biblical, trusting the Lord through it all...

I have to disagree with you on Jane Austen. The character of Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice had a very realistic view of marriage. The book is better of course but the 5 1/2 hr movie from 1995 did a wonderful job putting book to screen. S & S was very good, book & tv movie as well as Fanny Price. Emma & Northanger Abby were a bit in the silly side but did make some social statements about that early 1800’s. The longer tv movies do much better at bringing out the books. But of course the books are much better.
Just my own thoughts after watching the movies as well as reading the books for over the course of 30 years.
Now saying all that…. The Bible has the perfect view of marriage & relationships & family. THE only perfect view. Despite JAs shortcomings, they remain some of my favorite books. The Bible is my favorite of all time.
Sorry to chatter on. I get that way. 😂
