Got mine arriving today, thanks for the video on how it all works. Should be a good addition to the FX maverick, as i find the original butt stock too short. 👍🏻
What does the old thumb screw do after it is installed? Is it only purpose is to hold the buttstock in place? Have u tried to install thenbuttstock monopod adapter and bag rider all at same time?
Hi , the old thumbscrew is there to keep a small bushing in place and guide the buttstock up and down . The adapter and bag rider do fit together but I had to switch the buttstock connection of the bag rider and the thumbscrew from the opposite site
Always solid videos! 👍🙌 And love the products by saber tac and Donny FL! But this is a bit spicy in price...at least in the EU. Already have the ARCA rail Swiss mound and the cheek rest, plus the quick fill release adapter.
I have watched this video 3 times to see if I am missing something. When tightening the big nut after pushing the butt stock behind the thumbscrew, it doesn’t tighten on to anything? I can still move the buttstock up and down even with the big nut tightened as far as it will go!
Have you tighten the big screw with that little plate that comes with the buttstock? If you tighten that it should be impossible to move it with that tightened
It’s not meant to be super tight because it should be able to move , but it’s not so that it should wobble when fixed in one off the positions. I don’t really experience to much movement
@@Airbuks may be i'v to mail my dealer because mine wobble 1/2 mm when set in any position is that normal? I mean i don't mean this should effect accuracy just dont have the feeling of something extremely solid
@@Airbuks PROBLEM SOLVED thank's to Donny Du and his immediate assistance. Wrote him a mail, the screw to tight is the one on the top part where there is the spring. Now is much tighter and solid,
Thank you, it looked tight and I really like that case , I have cut out lots of bits so far with various add-ons . Have you any picture or link to show it on in the case. 👍😄
@@Airbuks if you consider 500$ a good deal... I own a regular dreamtac but i honestly don't think a 500 $ chasis is worth it since i'd have to pay for it out of my pocket as well 😉
@@Airbuks i don't know how much it is exactly, i thought i heard 500 on FX's instagram story. But if it is what you say it is then it's not worth it at all... How are you liking the dreamline with a bottle? I'm not content with my shots per fill to be honest.
@@Airbuks Sorry to butt in on this! Just invested in the Hill EC 3000 compressor and totally happy with it and hand made in UK! No Chinese BS! It can even fill small dive bottles! I highly recommend it! Yes cost more than China crap, but you have a solid warranty and spare parts forever! 798 euro .
Until you get your hands on this you can’t appreciate the quality & work that went into making this butt stock , its a 10 !
Great tutorial Airbucks, thanks! Steve
👋 Thx Steve much appreciate!
I see you are working hard on the impact video 👊 looking forward to it

Yes this is a nice upgrade for the Maverick aswel 👌🏻
How did you find fitting the buttstock? Got mine today and it still moves up and down even with everything tightened up!! So it remains loose….
Always enjoy watching your videos 👍
Thx mate !

You're the best thanks for everything
Thx for the support 🙏🏻
Does it mark up the anodizing on the gun when you slide it up and down etc? Especially the hook part that secures it to the gun?
No that I am aware off , I will check tomorrow
@@Airbuks thank you! It just appears to be metal on metal which makes me nervous on the anodizing after extended use.
I have checked it and after 6 months off use there is hardly any markings . The tolerance are just big enough and the coating is hard enough 👍

Please can you share your scope mounting settings on this impact compact in the video
It’s a work in progress, Keep a eye on my instagram 😉
@@Airbuks Thanks alot... From India
Love your videos. I have a question will that same shoulder stock and cheek raise from Saber Tactical fit on a FX Maverick?
Hi , only the buttstock will fit the Maverick. The cheekpiece is specific to the impact
@@Airbuks Thanks for letting me know. I’m still debating on what air rifle to buy. These videos really help a lot. Thanks so much for your time.👍
( SOLVED ;) The top part of the shoulder is a bit loose isn't it? I don'think there is some way to fix it more tight right?

Does it wobble left to right or back to front ? You can try tightening the screw in the middle on the side , maybe it fixes the issues

Sweet , Donny is a awesome guy 👌🏻 glad it sorted
Hi , does the impact still easily fit in the fx hard case after this is installed?
Yes but you will have to cut a small piece of the foam
Thank you, it looked tight and I really like that case , I have cut out lots of bits so far with various add-ons . Have you any picture or link to show it on in the case. 👍😄
Any chance you are reviewing the saber tactical dreamline stock when it's available?
If I can get a good deal on it , I would love to 👍 everything I show on my channel comes out of my own pocket 😉

500$ 🤔 I see 695€ that’s a big difference. I would like to own it but is also need to buy a air tube . I only own bottles
